[Golden Kamuy] Ranking: #10: Shiraishi Yoshitake

Shiraishi Yoshitake, who can easily dislocate his shoulder joints, has been mistaken for a monster. His personality may not be entirely normal, but it's hard to call him an eccentric. However, as a former prisoner and known as the Escape King, he's truly impressive. He's usually just a useless character who gets picked on, but the occasional moment he shines, he's the kind of guy who can slip into tight spaces.

In fact, her son is the child of another man. The tough-guy mother who runs the Hinedo business has no qualms about using a fake prisoner's tattoo as ransom, even when a woman pregnant with her son's child is taken hostage. She's truly greedy, and in the end she is beaten to death by her husband, but the way he kills her is a bit psychopathic. She is beaten to death in front of her son.
Golden Kamuy Ranking: 8th Place: Kiichiro Wakayama

Kiichiro Wakayama is a yakuza boss who literally loves his subordinates. Unfortunately, he was killed while trying to rescue one of his subordinates (the princess) from a bear. However, his actions were not exactly praiseworthy. He has come to kill Kiroranke, the man responsible for his failed horse race fix. Wakayama is also a former prisoner and has tattoos on his lower body.

Anebata Shidon, a man who loved animals too much. He finds pleasure in having sex with animals, and when he's done, he feels unclean and kills the animal. He's a scholar and has extensive knowledge of plants and animals, but he falls in love with a bear. And then, finally, he achieves his dream. To get this far, all I can say is that it's amazing. He must have felt so much pleasure and happiness. And then he passes away.

Kazuo Henmi has a strong desire to be killed by Sugimoto. He yearns for the image of someone dying while desperately resisting, and after hearing Sugimoto's feelings for the dead, Henmi begins to yearn for his own death. He fantasizes, repeatedly imagining himself being killed by Sugimoto, and a deep smile appears on his face. Just when you think he'll be killed by Sugimoto as he wished, he is instead abducted and killed by a Shachi whale during the battle. Just when you think he's sad about his demise, he dies screaming, "This is the best!"
Golden Kamuy Ranking #5: Ushiyama Tatsuma

Ushiyama Tatsuma, also known as the Undefeated Ushiyama. He has a strong sexual desire, and if left unchecked, it can explode. Occasionally, he is hunted by a sexual desire so strong that he loses control. He has a bump like fish cake on his forehead, and when he loses his mind, he becomes like a wild beast. Asirpa calls him "Dick Teacher" and they seem to have a good relationship. He is a man who is willing to both kill and save people, but when he loses his mind, you don't want to be near him.
Golden Kamuy Ranking #4: Nihei Tetsuzo

Nihei Tetsuzo's eccentricity is his tendency to immediately shout "I'm hard!" What's frightening is that this habit is passed on to Tanigaki, who once accompanied him. He shouts "I'm hard" at every opportunity in public, which makes you wonder if he's more interested in animals than humans. He was also a former prisoner, and the reason he was caught was because he was angry that his hunting had been interrupted and his prey stolen, so he took three days off and went around beating the group to death. He was probably screaming ``erect'' while beating them to death. The last one was caught by a patrol, but he killed him by twisting his neck in front of the patrol.

Speaking of eccentrics, this is Lieutenant Tsurumi. He devotes himself every day to searching for gold, always thinking of his compatriots who perished in the Russo-Japanese War. He is a ruthless villain who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. He's a weirdo with a missing brain, who occasionally gets overwhelmed with brain juice, and who mercilessly punishes anyone who gets in his way. While some of his subordinates admire him, he's also frequently betrayed. It's certainly a frightening sight to have such a superior officer.

A former doctor and murderer. He would pose as a hotel manager and torture and kill guests. The real model for this character is H.H. Holmes. Apparently he actually built a trick hotel and killed people there. It's terrifying. A former doctor, he not only performed repeated illegal brain surgeries, but also committed heinous acts such as transfusing the blood of those he killed and eating human flesh. He dresses as a woman, but he is actually a man.

Edogai Yasaku is the most eccentric of eccentrics. He takes pride in his taxidermy, often crafting gloves and hats from actual human skin. Lieutenant Tsurumi is awed by his horrific collection. He commissions him to create fake prisoner tattoos using actual human skin. Edogai's unusual dedication to taxidermy earns him the top spot on the rankings.

This series is filled with fascinating characters that we still can't introduce. Some characters are a little unique, but it's exciting to see what other unique characters will appear in the future! The series has finally entered the Russia arc, and we can't take our eyes off it.
