"World's End Harem" is a work serialized on the webcomic site Shonen Jump+. The anime was scheduled to begin airing in October 2021, but was postponed due to adult circumstances, and episodes from the first onwards will now air from January 2022. Although it is distributed online, the work is characterized by some of the most intense sexual depictions not only within the framework of Shonen Jump, but even within the framework of boys' magazines, and it encompasses every sexual fetish to the point that it could almost be called an adult comic. Even the anime's official website calls it a surprise anime adaptation, but it is also a science fiction work that delves into the conspiracies and mysteries that unfold behind the scenes. World's End Harem Volume 1 Spoilers
Mizuhara Reito, a medical student at the National Advanced Medical University, tells his childhood friend Tachibana Erika that he has always loved her. At the same time, he also learns that he has developed a disease called cellular sclerosis and will be placed into cold sleep for five years until a cure is developed. Erika tells Reito that she will always wait for him as she falls asleep. However, when Reito wakes up five years later in 2045, he is confronted not with Erika, but with a woman named Suou Miku who bears a striking resemblance to Erika. Miku then tells him that an unknown virus that only kills men has wiped out most of the world's men, and that for some reason, Reito is resistant to it.
Volume 1 Spoiler Part 2
Reito is reunited with his younger sister, Mahiru, but Erika has disappeared. Miku begs Reito to work hard to have children for the sake of humanity, but if he absolutely has to have a child, Erika is the one to do it. He is granted a reprieve on the condition that he sleeps with a woman of his choice every day. The women are Akane Ryuzoji, a nurse dispatched to monitor her health, and Midori Yamada, his bodyguard. Meanwhile, Kyoji Hino, also known as Number 1, who had awakened before Reito, has accepted the situation and has already impregnated many women. Reito discovers that Erika has been researching viruses and that her laboratory has been vandalized. Reito resolves to create a vaccine to save humanity.
World's End Harem Volume 2 Spoilers
Reito learns from a video hidden in Erika's room that the MK virus was artificially created. He visits the Secretary of State, who effectively controls Japan, but is knocked unconscious by one of the officials and nearly forced to mate with him. Rescued by Midori and meeting the Secretary of State, Reito strikes a deal with the Secretary, revealing his existence to the public in exchange for a certain degree of freedom of movement.
Volume 2 Spoilers Part 2
Number 3, Shota Doi, was brutally bullied in 2040. While his classmates turn a blind eye to what's going on, Shota's only ally is his homeroom teacher, Hanyu Yuzuki. Meanwhile, Shota develops cellular sclerosis and goes into cold sleep, but the only people who worry about him are his sister and Yuzuki. When Shota wakes up five years later, the situation has changed and he begins living his school life surrounded by beautiful girls, including his former teacher, Yuzuki.

Shota, who ends up attending a school full of girls, reunites with his long-time crush, Yuzuki, and experiences his dream first sexual encounter with her. School life is lively, and he meets Haruka Hiiragi, who shares Shota's interests; the rich and sensual Natsu Ichijo; Akira Todo, the volleyball team's ace and cool, busty beauty; Kuroda, the cheeky lolita who skipped a grade and enrolled at the school; Rain; and Chifuyu. To uncover the secrets of the virus, Reito visits Taniguchi, the wife of the first infected person, who is hospitalized at Keimon Central Hospital. However, Taniguchi was suspicious of the fact that his husband had been dissected without his consent. While staying at the hotel to try to persuade Taniguchi, who was completely unwilling to listen, Reito met a mysterious foreign student named Chloe, who seduced him, but managed to maintain his chastity. Taniguchi had a connection with Reito's girlfriend, Erika, and upon learning that Reito continued to have feelings for her, he felt ready to talk to him. However, as if to silence him, Taniguchi's condition suddenly worsened. Reito was entrusted with photos of the couple by Taniguchi. Taniguchi's sudden change was clearly man-made, and some kind of conspiracy was at work.
Volume 4 Spoiler Part 2
The photo frame was a memory device that activated in conjunction with the bracelet-shaped memory device left behind by Erika. Inside was a report detailing how to create the MK virus. Sensing a conspiracy, Reito discovered a breakthrough in vaccine development. Meanwhile, No. 1 Kyoji Hino falls in love at first sight with Reito's sister and selects her for mating. No. 3 Shota Doi is deepening his friendships with the female students.
World's End Harem Volume 5 Spoilers
Shota Doi is incredibly cute and enjoys his school life, attracting the affections of almost every girl. However, when his teacher, Yuzuki, suddenly disappears, he becomes acutely aware of his caged nature. In this closed-off environment with a dreamlike harem, Shota begins to feel like he's slowly going mad and that his inner self is changing. Meanwhile, a transfer student arrives in Shota's class. The transfer student's name is Shion Hoshino. She was a former classmate of Shota's, and was one of his classmates who remained indifferent when Shota was being bullied and when he went into cold sleep.
Volume 5 Spoiler Part 2
As of 2040, Shion Hoshino aspired to be a celebrity and was something of an idol in her class. However, the spread of the virus caused a sharp decline in demand for the celebrity profession. Shion asks Shota to back her up as a classmate, but initially declines, feeling it's too convenient. Shion's transfer was orchestrated by his personal supervisor, Karen Kamiya, and was part of Shota's personality alteration scheme. However, Shota then forces Shion into a humiliating mating session. Meanwhile, Akane warns Reito that learning too much about the virus could be dangerous. Maria tells him that several prominent virus researchers have gone missing, and suggests that the virus may have been created in the hospital where the researchers went missing.
World's End Harem Volume 6 Spoilers
The abandoned hospital where Reito and his friends infiltrate is home to the Director of Technology, who previously tried to kidnap Reito. When they are discovered by the women, they are nearly shot, but Chloe saves them. Chloe, the director of the UW Peacekeeping Operations Bureau, was dispatched from the United States to spy on Reito and the director and his team. The laboratory, resembling an abandoned hospital, was blown up to destroy evidence, and Reito and his team quickly escaped. Meanwhile, Director Onihara and his team were detained after being exposed as rebels against UW by Director General Shuto's rebellion. They then learned that Tachibana Erika was operating as a terrorist and that the terrorist group had kidnapped a fourth man with resistance to the virus.
Volume 6 Spoiler Part 2
Through his time at school, Shota's inner self gradually changed and aggressive feelings began to emerge. He requested that a certain person be brought to him. This person was a woman named Erika, who had once bullied him, and was brought to him while she was suffering from drug addiction in the refugee area. While he was engaging in loving mating with the female students, Shota treated Erika as if she were venting her frustrations. Meanwhile, one of the female students at the school was secretly in contact with Tachibana Erika.
