In his final battle with Tanya, Anson Sue ignores his own safety and abandons his pride to use weapons that violate the treaty in order to kill Tanya. It is unclear whether he went to such lengths for the sake of his comrades who had been killed by Tanya, or whether he went after her out of anger at himself for not being able to protect them, but his sole goal of defeating Tanya is so intense that it almost makes him insane. In the end, Tanya riddles him with bullets with the submachine gun she stole during the battle for the fjord, but he attempts a suicide bombing that would take Tanya down with it, but he is unable to defeat her and passes away.
Summary
