The second season of the anime "Komi-san, Social Disorder," based on the Weekly Shonen Sunday manga, is already airing. The time between seasons is quite short, and the excitement of season one is still palpable! This time, we'll be looking back at the first season of Komi-san! This time, we'll cover episodes 7 through 12. We've also compiled episodes 1 through 6, so check those out too!
Episode 7: "The Pool" and More
The usual group of friends decides to go to the pool during summer vacation. They meet up with Yamai and her group, who happen to show up, and head to the large pool together. Komi attempts to change into her school swimsuit, but Yamai, who doesn't want her to be seen, stops her and goes shopping for a different one. The boys are impressed by the girls' swimsuits. Komi enjoys the water slide and lazy river with everyone, but suddenly falls and injures herself at the poolside.
Episode 7 Part 2
Komi is about to go to the library, but her dapper and extremely taciturn father, Masakazu, offers to give her a ride. However, it's the height of summer, and the heat is so intense that the two decide to go to a cafe and eat shaved ice. Though they're a striking parent-child pair, there's virtually no conversation between them. Surprisingly, despite their quiet nature, they seem to be able to communicate...
Episode 7, Part 3
Komi-san arrives at the library and finds the book she's looking for, ready to read it. However, she attracts everyone's attention, and unintentionally stands out. She tries to escape the situation by borrowing a book, but can't quite muster the courage to do so at the reception desk. After wandering around, she decides to calm herself down by reading a book. By coincidence, Tadano-kun is also there.
Episode 7, Part 4
On her way home from the library, Komi-san stops by the park and rediscovers her childhood, enjoying the swings, slides, and athletic equipment. By coincidence, Tadano-kun happens to be watching the scene.
Episode 8: "It's Obon." and more
The Komi family visits their grandmother's house during the Obon holiday. Mother Hideko is excited to reunite with her aunt Yoshiko, while father Masakazu is delighted to reunite with his uncle Sadayoshi (although they're completely silent). Komi-san and her cousin Akira struggle to figure out how to keep their distance, and they're both intimidated by each other. However, after they manage to open up to each other, they become very close and even play board games together. Then, Komi-san is called by her grandmother.
Episode 8②
Tadano-kun arrives at the summer festival in a yukata after receiving a sudden call from Najimi. In fact, Komi-san has also been called, and her words in kimono make her gasp. Najimi, who called her, has booked a thousand summer festival dates. For now, Tadano-kun and Komi-san decide to enjoy the festival together.
Episode 8③
At the end of summer vacation, Najimi suggests that Najimi and Komi-san gather at Tadano-kun's house. Before they know it, Yamai-san, who thought it was wrong for Komi-san to be invited to Tadano-kun's house, also shows up. Tadano-kun's younger sister, Hitomi, seems confused as to why her brother has brought a stunningly beautiful woman like Komi-san with him. Najimi's only requirement is that they finish their summer vacation homework together.
Episode 9: "I'm a Country Girl" and More
Summer vacation is over, and the new semester begins. Inaka-san, a classmate, is worried that others will find out she's from the country, so she tries to make a summer debut. If they find out, they'll throw stones at her and kill her. Inaka-san, however, sees Komi-san as a city girl and admires her (this is just my imagination).
Episode 9②
Komi receives an email from Naka-san. It's a complex message typical of chuunibyou, but it seems to be an invitation to come over. Komi ends up going over to Naka-san's house. She's intrigued by Naka-san's otaku room. And then, as if it were her right to do so, she decides to play NumaBra with Najimi, who also happens to be with her, and Tadano, who also happens to be a bonus.
Episode 9③
Komi-san is called by a friend to take a part-time job handing out tissues. However, for Komi-san, who has social anxiety, handing out tissues directly to strangers is too much of a challenge!? However, she is encouraged by the mascot costume worker she is working with. Then, a woman appears, desperately needing some tissues.
Episode 9 Part 4
Komi-san notices something on Tadano-kun's face. However, she trembles, not knowing how to point it out. Tadano-kun also seems confused. Just then, Najimi and Kamisato-san show up... Everyone has something on their faces!?
Episode 10: "It's the Sports Festival" and More
The sports festival begins, and the students cheer and compete. Itan High School's sports festival is a competition between classes, and the 1-1 class strives to help Komi-san win. In the relay race, Tadano, inspired by Komi-san's athleticism, shows off an incredible run, but ends up in third place. Meanwhile, a sudden downpour occurs, and Komi-san's mother makes an appearance, causing a stir in the venue, but the rain finally clears and the sports festival moves on to the final event.
Episode 10②
Tadano-kun, who is often relied upon by others...or rather, who tends to have work pushed upon him, always seems busy. His tomboyish classmate, Onemine-san, sees this and, unlike her classmates, helps Tadano-kun with his work out of kindness. Seeing the two of them like this, Komi-san feels a little uneasy.
Episode 10, Part 3
After learning about print stickers, Komi tells Tadano how eager she is to go take some. Najimi and Yamai, who happened to be listening, decide to go on a sticker-taking spree with her. While Komi thoroughly enjoys the print stickers, she also seems interested in the prizes from the UFO catcher.
Episode 11: "School Festival Performance" and more
In 1-1, the class was on the verge of collapse as they discussed the school festival performance. This was a rare opportunity to see Komi-san, the class god, dress up in a maid outfit and eat the food she cooked. However, they knew that they wouldn't get anywhere if they continued like this, so each student put their heart and soul into their presentation. So, what performance does Komi-san herself want to do?
Episode 11②
Komi-san wants to help with preparations for the school festival, but her social anxiety keeps her from helping out. Even though Komi-san is worshipped as a god, someone else always ends up doing it for her. Then, together with the easygoing Otori-san and Onemine-san, the three of them go shopping for supplies for the performance.

Tadano, Najimi, and Komi come to the shopping district to hand out flyers for the school festival. They try to negotiate for the flyers to be put up, but it's a bit of a challenge for Komi, not Najimi. Komi then hands out flyers to her regular hairdresser, who understands her every move, and to a ramen shop where she feels at ease with fellow socially awkward people.
Episode 11 Part 4
The day before the school festival. Everyone in the class is in a state of grief as they make their final push. The boys are revived by the onigiri made by the girls for a late-night snack. Of course, some of the onigiri are made by Komi-san, and the boys are excited to win one of Komi-san's onigiri based on the girls' testimony.
Episode 11⑤
The school festival has finally begun. A variety of people visit the maid cafe in 1-1. A man who calls himself a maid master, Komi-san's mother and brother, Tadano-kun's sister, and more. Tadano-kun is forced to dress up in a maid costume, which surprisingly suits him.
Episode 12: "It's the School Festival" and More
The maid cafe where Komi works as a waitress is a huge success! Taking advantage of the fact that customers are drawn to Komi as she walks, Najimi demonstrates her skills and makes a killing. However, she is discovered by the authorities and forced to refund all her money. As a result, she now has to travel around the school with Tadano to attract customers.
Episode 12 Part 2
1-1 is awarded the grand prize during the announcement. However, Najimi's profit-making activities are not permitted, and her entry is revoked. Still, Komi seems to have enjoyed herself. There's a dance party at the after-party, and Komi wants to join in.

1-1 heads to karaoke for the after-party. Komi-san has been to karaoke before, but she's never sung. Will she be able to overcome the high hurdle of singing in front of others?
