The story of Isekai Izakaya "Nobu" is centered around delicious food, but of course there are plenty of memorable scenes beyond just the characters eating and drinking delicious food! ...Though, of course, many of the memorable scenes are food-related (lol). Today, we'll be ranking the 10 most memorable scenes from Isekai Izakaya "Nobu" and introducing them to you!
10th Place: Hildegard's Past Scene

Our #10 favorite is the one-time scene depicting Hildegard's past life with her parents. By the time she arrived at Izakaya Nobu, Hildegard was already a sulky and spoiled girl, but she had already lost both of her parents. When she was with her parents, Hildegard looked like a doll, and when she entered Izakaya Nobu, she had an unimaginable smile on her face.
By the way, what was her expression like when she first visited Izakaya Nobu?

In the flashback, Hildegard flashed such a sweet, innocent smile. But now, years after losing her parents, she's become a completely different person. While she's grown into a beautiful girl, she's also grown up to be expressive, even smiley, and selfish. At this age, it's almost sad to see her marrying for the sake of her family and seeing her smile from the past...
9th Place: The Reunion Scene Between Leontine and Berthold

Our ninth-place pick is the tense reunion scene between Leontine and Berthold, who previously fought on the battlefield. When Nobu and the others hear that Liontine has come to the ancient city of Aiteiria in search of someone, they immediately realize from her features that the person she is looking for is Beltholdt. The two men panicked, fearing that if they met again, another battle would break out, but then his wife, Hermina, noticed that Liontine was wearing a matchmaking amulet around her neck...

Bertholdt was already drunk by the time he arrived at Izakaya Nobu. At that point, he had been told not to come if possible, as there might be a dispute (lol), but when he entered the store, he stared at Liontine's face and remembered that she was someone he had fought in the past. Liontine seemed happy that he remembered her. However, without realizing what those around him were thinking, he immediately introduced Hermina as his wife.
8th Place: The Salad Spy with the Extremely Over-Reaction

Eighth place goes to Jean-François Mort de la Vigne, a spy who arrived in the ancient city of Aiteiria on a secret mission from Oiria... I'll call him Jean because it's such an impressive name. Jean orders salads as an intelligence-gathering technique. Apparently, the amount of raw vegetables available can tell you how wealthy a country is. Izakaya Nobu offers several salads, and each one over-reacts.

Jean tries various salads and recommends them. Among them, there are two that surprise him. The first is potato salad. While the potato salad itself doesn't impress him that much, the addition of pepper is a major surprise! In this world, pepper is worth as much as gold dust. The final blow was a salad made with gold leaf and dragon fruit. Mistaking the dragon fruit for a dragon treasure, Jean hurriedly returned to his country.
7th Place: The Scene Where the Chef and Shinobu Drink the Ale Bruntano Brought

7th place goes to a rare scene of the chefs drinking. As the two chefs, it's rare for them to drink alcohol, but in the final episode, as a special treat, the chef and Shinobu drink the "real ale" brought by Count Brantano. After taking a sip, the chef sees the word "fuwa" (soft) appear in a sparkling gold effect around him. His eyes widen, he immediately replies, "This is..." It's rare to see the chef with an expression like that.
Even Shinobu can't resist the taste of real ale...

After the owner finished his ale, Shinobu took a sip of the ale given to her by Brantano. Shinobu is known for being quite picky about taste (having a sharp palate), and even the ale from the ancient capital of Aiteiria that she tried several times didn't have a very good reaction. However, the moment she drank this ale, she had the impression of being blown by the breeze in a flower field, and she immediately said that "real ale" is delicious.
6th Place: The Scene Where the Chef Burns His Heart to Force Berthold, Who Hates Squid, to Eat It

Our sixth-place pick is the scene where Berthold comes to Izakaya Nobu to overcome his fear of squid. "I can't eat that dish because it uses squid..." Hearing this, the chef became even more fired up. He tried his best to get Berthold to eat the squid, even frying it. However, it didn't go well and he ended up burning out (lol). After that, the misunderstanding was cleared up and Berthold enjoyed eating the chef's squid dish.
5th Place: A Scene in Which Eva Scolds Two Adults

5th place goes to a very rare scene in which Eva gets furious! Lorenz and Holger were arguing while eating at Izakaya Nobu. At first, Eva watched them as proof of their friendship, but she couldn't stand to see their quarrel continue even during the meal and finally became enraged! "You two! Eat your food well!" she yelled, and the two who had been fighting just a moment ago were overwhelmed by her force and quieted down.
4th Place: The Scene Where the Chef and Shinobu Drink Alone to Celebrate the Six-Month Anniversary

4th place is the scene after the party in the final episode. Now alone, the chef and Shinobu start a small celebration. The celebration was the six-month anniversary of the restaurant's opening. The two sat facing each other at the counter and toasted with beer, and it was a very memorable scene in which Shinobu ate the food prepared by the chef at the counter. Shinobu looked cute in her off-mode mode, with her usual hood removed! And the chef, who predicted Shinobu's order and prepared the tempura, was impressive too.
3rd Place: The Scene Where Hildegard Shows Consideration for Her Uncle, Johan

The scene where Hildegard tells Johan her true feelings comes in third place. Hildegard had always been selfish and caused Johan a lot of trouble up until now, but when she ate hot tofu with sweet bean sauce at Nobu, all of that was resolved. Hildegard then said she was disappointed, because she was no longer causing Johan any trouble and getting his attention. She then said that he didn't need to worry about her, so from now on he should just take care of himself.
Second Place: The Scene Where Eva Reveals the Truth to Shinobu and Apologizes

The scene I chose as my second place was when Eva attempted to steal something. She was trying to steal a faucet. Eva was poor and didn't have the money to buy firewood to boil water, so she wanted a faucet. Due to her location, she was able to escape, but she apologized to Shinobu and asked to make amends. "The moment you think about stealing, you've already committed a sin," she said. She was prepared to be turned in by the guards without violating the church's teachings.
To resolve the issue, she fixed her hair and clothes and made her debut as a poster girl.
Nicholas arrived at Izakaya Nobu after hearing that a thief had broken in, only to find the thief was a 14-year-old girl. Unlike when she broke in, Eva's hair was now short, her clothes were neat, and she was wearing an apron. Nikolaus still warned that she might steal again, so Shinobu offered to hire Eva as a dishwasher. With the help of Deacon Edwin, the case was resolved. And thus, Eva, the poster girl heroine, was born.
#1: The scene where she drinks raw Triaezuma!

When you think of Izakaya Nobu, you think of Toriaezunama! The customers who ordered it gulp it down with relish. The "swoosh" sound effect, the irresistibly delicious way of drinking, and the best part is the lines like "Phew!" and "Delicious!" after you've finished drinking! It's a scene that will make even viewers who don't drink beer want to try it.
Shinobu, the poster girl, is an essential part of Toriaezunama

It's no exaggeration to say that Izakaya Nobu's Toriaezunama is completed when Shinobu delivers it! Toriaezunama is only truly delicious when it's brought to you with that voice and smile. It may sound rude, but if the chef were to bring out the beer in the same way and say, "Here you go, your Toriaezunama is waiting," it might not taste half as good.

Isekai Izakaya "Nobu" has a memorable scene every time. Honestly, I wanted to give Eva or Hildegard the top spot, but Shinobu couldn't leave out the scene where she carries the Triaezunama. When you think of Izakaya Nobu, you think of Toriaezunama. Which scene do you think is your number one favorite?
