To sum up the appeal of Hi Score Girl in one word, I'd say it's a return to the Showa era. Of course, I know that today's young people were born in the Heisei era, and I'm not particularly interested in saying that the Showa era was better! After all, there weren't even iPhones back then! But I'm from the Street Fighter II generation. My first date with my girlfriend was also at an arcade. That's right. I'm overcome with the feeling that I'm listening to a story from my own past. However, this anime is also very enjoyable for younger viewers! It's simply set in the Showa era, but the story as an anime is excellent.

This time, we have a new project! We had Iga, the red panda, talk about the appeal of High Score Girl on YouTube. This was a first attempt for both Iga and our editor, and it's been a while since we filmed, but we've successfully uploaded it to YouTube! Until now, the content has mainly consisted of articles on the animemiru website and scrolling videos on YouTube, but we wanted to create something enjoyable through sound, with Iga talking about the game and hopefully people can listen to it as background music while they work! Incidentally, the opening, background music, and ending songs are all original compositions by animemiru! We hope you enjoy!
