Later, Ohno follows Haruo as he leaves the arcade. Haruo feels uneasy about Ohno, who keeps a close distance from him, even though he doesn't seem to have any business with him, so he tries to run away. However, Ohno follows him with a frightening expression, like Hellmask obsessed with Rick.
The Truth
After that, Haruo safely arrived home without incident. The next day, he learned at school that Ohno was extremely afraid of horror. The reason he'd chased Haruo so much was because he was scared of the Splatterhouse movie they were showing and didn't want to be alone.
[High Score Girl II] Famous Scene Ranking #9: "The Beginning of the Feud"

What's more, this fierce opponent turns out to be Akira Ohno, a rich girl from his class.
Waiting Guile Activated
Haruo was thoroughly beaten by Ohno, who seemed to have no connection to the smoky arcade. However, he could never allow himself to be defeated by a haughty young lady. With this in mind, Haruo uses a forbidden tactic in Street Fighter II, specifically the "Waiting Guile" strategy, which gives him an overwhelming advantage against Zangief, in an attempt to crush Ohno's pride.
Real Fight Breaks Out
Even Ohno, as expected, was no match for Guile's waiting game and lost the round. However, Haruo lost the round due to his underestimation of his opponent. In the final match, Haruo defeated Ohno using the most terrible tactic, the "throw trap," which is taboo in Street Fighter II. However, Ohno, encouraged by this, challenged Haruo to a real fight and landed a punch to the face. This was the beginning of the long-running feud between Haruo and Ohno.
