This time, we'd like to introduce some important characters in the second season of "Welcome to the Classroom of the Elite," scheduled to begin airing in July 2022. After Class D somehow made it through their midterm exams and the special test on a deserted island, what challenges await them next? To fully enjoy the anime, let's recap the first season and recap! (Contains spoilers.)

Kiyotaka Ayanokoji

Ayanokoji looking to the side

This is Kiyotaka Ayanokoji, the protagonist of this story. We saw glimpses of his incredible abilities in Season 1, and we expect him to play a key role in Season 2. While he's a "do-nothing" type, a conversation with his homeroom teacher, Sae Chabashira, has him seriously aiming for Class A. His past, the identity of "that man" who demanded Ayanokoji's expulsion, and the true meaning of Season 1's cryptic ending will likely become clearer.

Horikita Suzune

Horikita face

Horikita Suzune is striving to reach Class A in order to gain her brother's approval, but her failure during the special exam seems to be gradually changing her personality. She needs allies, and who will she choose as her allies? This is surely a key point of interest. It will be exciting to see how Horikita, who Ayanokoji urges her to change, performs in Season 2.

Kushida Kikyo

Kushida face

Kushida Kikyo is popular throughout her class. In Season 1, she was a central figure in Class D, and her proactive approach to activities for the class was memorable. While she was relatively quiet during the special exam, her two-faced personality, which only Ayanokoji could see through, will likely become important in Season 2. It will be interesting to see how her dual nature and the reasons for her particular dislike of Horikita will affect the story.

Yosuke Hirata

Laughing Hirata

Yosuke Hirata is the class leader, almost like a class representative. He was impressive, always trying to resolve problems and disputes in the class. His leadership skills were also on display during the special exam, bringing the class together. However, when the class nearly fell apart due to incidents like underwear theft and a fire, there were scenes that seemed to reveal Hirata's true nature, so this is something to keep an eye on in season 2.

Kei Karuizawa

Hirata and Karuizawa

Kei Karuizawa is the leader of the girls' group that Hirata is dating. As someone at the top of the social hierarchy, she's not afraid to speak her mind to anyone, and she often seems to be selfish. She also seems to be at odds with Horikita, though she doesn't show it openly, and Karuizawa's presence will likely be crucial to the class's unity.

Ken Sudo

Angry Sudo

Due to his poor grades and poor behavior, he survived two threats of expulsion in the first season. In the second season, his athletic ability will be on full display at the sports festival. It will be interesting to see how he performs, as he has tended to hold the class back up until now. He also has feelings for Horikita, so it will be interesting to see if there will be any new developments in that regard.

Ryuuen Kakeru

Ryuuen Face

Ryuuen Kakeru is a central figure in Class C, and during the special exam, he nearly outshone the entire class and came out on top. He's quick to act on exams and seems to excel at coming up with unique strategies. At the end of Season 1, he's seen declaring war on Horikita, and it looks like he'll be a formidable opponent in Season 2 as well.

Sakayanagi Alice

Sakayanagi Face

While Katsuragi dominated Class A in the first season of the anime, Sakayanagi Alice is the leader of the other faction. She created the Sakayanagi faction, which appears to divide Class A in two. Even during the special exam, she rallied her subordinates against Katsuragi, seemingly trying to suppress the Katsuragi faction. While she remains a mysterious character, her true character is expected to become more clear in Season 2.
