Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun! Synopsis
Iruma Suzuki, a poor boy who was forced to work like a rag by his worthless parents and eventually sold to the demon Sullivan for money, is brought to the demon world. The demon Sullivan dotes on Iruma because he wanted a grandchild. He then attends the demon school Babylon, where Sullivan serves as the principal, and enjoys his youth surrounded by unique classmates and teachers.
The True Form of Suzuki Iruma-kun, the Overly Kind Boy
The protagonist of this work, Iruma-kun, also known as Suzuki Iruma, is an extremely kind-hearted person who cannot refuse requests from others due to the fact that he grew up being manipulated by his worthless parents. He is also a very kind-hearted character, yet willing to put his life on the line for his friends. As a human, Iruma-kun does not want to stand out too much in the demon world, but he possesses the charisma, good fortune, and bad luck to stand out in any way he can.
Iruma-kun's Bad Cycle Experience! It all started with the Gluttony Ring
Demons have a habit known as a "bad cycle," which periodically drives them to commit evil acts. Because Iruma-kun is human, he doesn't experience a bad cycle. However, when the ant from the Gluttony Ring casts a spell that makes Iruma-kun evil, causing him to experience a bad cycle, something terrible happens to him.
Personality Change! Iruma-kun Becomes a Charismatic Evil Character
When Iruma-kun wakes up, his usual gentle face has transformed into a dangerously handsome man with droopy eyes. His personality also changes, from a kind and good-natured persona to a completely egocentric and charismatic evil character, becoming the biggest problem child in the problem class. While the cycle of evil itself is not uncommon for demons, the students in the problem class are shocked by his drastic transformation.
Iruma-kun, the Charismatic Evil Demon, Complains About the Living Conditions
Iruma-kun, the charismatic evil demon, has become a stranger. He treats Asmodeus like a close aide, uses Clara as a hot water bottle, and exudes charismatic charm and self-indulgence. However, Iruma-kun criticizes the living conditions of the problem children's class. The problem children's class is located underground, on the outskirts of the demon school, near the garbage dump, making it cold, smelly, and awful.
Iruma-kun Begins to Show His Kingly Qualities
Iruma-kun is not happy with the living conditions in the problem children's class and the current situation where he is looked down upon by other students. He takes his classmates to the staff room and goes to negotiate directly with Mr. Naberius Karuego. His request is for the problem children's classroom to be moved. As a new classroom, Iruma-kun demands the release of the "King's Classroom," said to have been used by the legendary previous Demon King.
The "King's Classroom" arc begins! Iruma-kun ignites the fighting spirit of the problem children
Karuego-sensei threatens the shameless and ignorant Iruma-kun, but Iruma-kun refuses to back down and agrees to release King's classroom on the condition that he "gathers permission slips from all faculty and staff within three days." While this is an unreasonable condition no matter how you look at it, Iruma-kun wants the problem children's class to show everyone at Devil Academy and by inciting their pride, the entire class works together to free King's classroom.
The Great Struggle of the Problem Children's Class! Get the permission slip from the teachers!!
Egged on by Nyuma-kun, the problem students set out to liberate King's classroom. Each problem student in the problem class is a talented individual with a unique personality, and they use their unique abilities to their full potential to obtain the permission slip. They use all sorts of methods, both clean and dirty, to obtain the permission slip, but two teachers stand in their way: the astrology teacher, Olias, and the teacher Buer, who was once attacked by Sabnock.
Get the permission slip!
Olias, an astrology teacher, possesses incredible luck and never loses at gambling. His gambling challenge is pitted against Shax, who possesses the family ability of Sense Robbery. Shax's ability to rob Olias of his five senses succeeds in depriving him of his sight, but that alone is not enough to reverse Olias's destiny. However, it was Shax who emerged victorious. Shax had also robbed Olias of his sense of smell, and behind him was Ix, who possesses the family ability of Favorability. Ix's ability allows him to make others fall in love with him, giving him an advantage. By using Shax's ability to hide Ix's presence, they won the gambling match.
And now, a permit!
Buell, whose relationship with Sabnack is volatile, would not ally with the troublemakers emotionally. Sabnack's response to Buell was a heartfelt apology. Moved by the rowdy Sabnack's heartfelt apology, Buell hands over the permit.
The Final Battle with Professor Karuego
Iruma-kun submitted permission slips from all the teachers to Karuego, but Professor Karuego refused to allow King's classroom to be opened. Karuego's condition was permission slips from all faculty and staff. In other words, he insisted that permission from all staff, including janitors and store clerks, was necessary. It was a blatant accusation, similar to Tonegawa from Kaiji, but when Professor Karuego pointed out Iruma-kun's recklessness and lack of thoroughness, even the quintessential Iruma-kun had no way to argue back.
A major comeback victory thanks to the non-evil Iruma-kun! The King's Classroom is Liberated!
One after another, janitors, store clerks, and other staff members gather before them. They bring their permission slips, but this is due to Iruma-kun's usual good-natured behavior and virtue. With the strength he has built up, Iruma-kun's efforts become the final push, forcing even Mr. Karuego to acknowledge his presence, and the problem children's class obtains the "King's Classroom."
The True Intentions of Iruma-kun
Iruma-kun's original goal was to have the problem children's class recognized for their exceptional abilities. The problem children's class, who have earned the King's Classroom through their own merits, are respected by the entire school. A few days later, Iruma-kun's cycle of evil comes to an end. Still retaining his memories, Iruma-kun is left to grapple with his own behavior.
