Kakegurui is a manga about gambling addicts, but one of its unique features is that it features a rare majority of female characters. Since I had a fixed idea that gambling equals Kaiji, when I first read it, I was a little put off by the protagonist's lack of obsession with money. However, as I continued reading, the story's focus on thrills and other exciting aspects made for a suspenseful plot. What's more, the characters are incredibly unique!
