Inbami Miyoku

Head of the Inbami family, they have been in the pharmaceutical business for generations. They are characterized by their long hair that reaches down to their waists and a single bang hanging down. In the student council president election, she teamed up with Misori Yobami, and won votes with a blunt strategy of poisoning her opponents to dominate the match. When facing Yumeko Jabami, she also poisoned her and forced her to step down. However, she was at the mercy of Meari Saotome's clever play, who took Yumeko's place, and was cornered instead. So she forced Misori to lose, saying that she was better.

Miri Yobami

Representative of the Yobami family, she has been in the pharmaceutical business for generations. She has a distinctive bun hairstyle. She has a surly personality. She is the biological sister of Misori Yobami, and they have a deep bond that allows them to communicate with eye contact, but the Momobami family, who saw her as a threat, adopted her into the Yobami family, who had no children at the time. She has absolute trust in her sister, and when they are alone together, she leaves it up to her to make all her decisions. In the student council president election, he cooperated with Miyoko and advanced the competition, but when he competed against Saotome Meari, he was outsmarted and ended up with a debt of 10,000 votes, more than the entire student body, and was effectively eliminated from the election. Furthermore, due to a rule he added, he was poisoned twice and fell ill. At this time, he had decided to lose for his sister's sake, but just before that, he was forced by his sister and suffered a mental shock.

A gamble used by Yumeko Jabami, Ryota Suzuki, Miyoko Inbami and Misao Yobami in the election campaign. A gamble played using 10 cards with the numbers "0", "1", "2" and "3" written on them, for a total of 40 cards. The creator is Runa Yomotsuki. First, each player is dealt four cards. After checking their cards, they place a bet on how many votes they will bet, and when everyone agrees, the number of votes bet for that round is decided. It is also possible to fold. Players are also allowed to bet more than the votes they have by asking to borrow votes. Players who do not fold take turns putting their cards on the table one by one. The game ends when the sum of the numbers on the cards on the table reaches 10 or more, and the last player to put a card down loses. The loser pays the number of votes they initially bet on to the table and distributes them to the other players. Any decimals appear to be rounded down. This is repeated three times. In the story, due to the Three Desires and Three Laws, a rule was added that "the loser must prick their finger into a sword stand coated with poison." Also, the dealer, Luna, used a special shuffle called the "Gilbreath Shuffle" to eliminate the bias in the numbers.

Yumeko receives a challenge from the duo Inbami and Yobami, and agrees to a gambling match with them. When she enters the venue where the election is being held, the election committee chairman, Yomotsuki Luna, who sensed something ominous about the gambling that Miyoku and Miri had done last time, declares that she will be the witness. Incidentally, Jabami Yumeko is a distant relative of the two.

If things continue like this, Yumeko will be at a disadvantage of 2:1... Thinking this, Suzuki decides to join the match himself. The gambling game "Nim Zero Type" begins. The rules are simple: ten cards of each number from 0 to 3 are shuffled and dealt to four people, and players take turns putting one card on the table. If the total number exceeds nine, the last person to put a card down loses. You can place bets like in poker, and you can fold or try to get your opponent to fold, so it's not a game of pure luck.

Savior! Saotome Meari

Suzui asks why she only has one vote, but she responds, "You can borrow votes, so it's okay if you don't have any," which upsets the election system, and the gambling begins. In the first round, Yumeko, Suzui, and Miri all get +10 votes. The game ends with Yumeko's side winning with Sanyoku -30 votes, but Yumeko collapses for unknown reasons. It seems that Sanyoku had poisoned Yumeko in the embrace she gave her before the game, so Suzui asks Saotome Meari for help.

The additional elements proposed by Sanyo were that those who dropped out or lost would take the poison that was tormenting Yumeko themselves, and that the serum would be treated as 100 chips. Suzuki and Meari agreed to this and took their place in the match in place of Yumeko. As soon as the match began, Meari ordered Suzuki to reveal his hand. Suzuki hesitated, knowing that he would definitely lose if he showed his cards, but he trusted Yumeko's words, "Listen carefully to what Meari has to say," and revealed his cards.

The second round ended with Miri losing 100 votes, while Meari and the others lost 33 votes, and Miri offered the serum instead of the chip. After obtaining the serum, Suzuki tries to inject it into Yumeko, but Yomizuki says, "I won't let you use your chips during the gambling, and I won't let you use them until it's over." If she loses, one of the two serum bottles will be taken as a chip, and she will have to ingest poison, so she will run out of serum -- the third round, in which she must win, begins.

This time too, Meari orders Suzuki to reveal his hand. Seeing this, Meari raises to "10,000 chip votes." Once everyone has called and the final gamble begins, Meari explains the key to this gamble. Yomizuki's special shuffle ensures that the cards are dealt "fairly" and randomly. By seeing Suzuki's hand, Meari realizes that she and Suzuki have monopolized the number "2," and discovers the order that guarantees a win.

The two won the gamble and were able to inject the serum into Yumeko, who was bedridden. Meari muttered to Yumeko, who might not have heard her, "I'm going to be student council president"... and that's how the story unfolded.
