This time, we'll be introducing some of the most clumsy scenes from "Ueno-san wa Bukiyou."
Tapping into your heartbeat? An experiment to prevent panty shots!

Ueno invented "Kumatander 2," a device that manipulates the mysterious dark matter present in space, effectively turning a localized area invisible. This invention, created to prevent panty shots, was used to test the degree to which skirt corners could be blocked. So Ueno uses the effect on her own skirt and assigns Tanaka to record it. Ueno is absolutely confident in this experimental device and declares that she's not wearing anything underneath. Ueno tries to use this thrill to seduce Tanaka, but Tanaka seems unmoved when she hears that she's not wearing anything underneath. The experiment begins, and she finally lifts her skirt up to 90 degrees. The effect seems to continue, and Tanaka shows no interest whatsoever. Ueno then asks, "Imagine that thing exposed in the darkness beyond, and come at me!" Tanaka responds, "What's that thing?" Ueno replies, "It's... something that boys have... but girls don't!" Tanaka seems genuinely confused, saying, "Let me see it," and tries to lift Ueno's skirt. She then threatens to turn off "Kumatander No. 2." Although Ueno tries to capitalize on the excitement of lifting Tanaka's skirt, it seems Tanaka hasn't experienced that excitement yet. Furthermore, Ueno appears to have ignited Tanaka's curiosity, putting him in a rather awkward position.
Intake molecules from within the body!

The day Ueno consumed "Dorantode S," a futuristic drink containing the futuristic ingredient Dorantode. Drinking "Dorantode S" supposedly neutralizes odor molecules from the drinker for approximately 24 hours. Ueno tells Tanaka to smell the soles of his feet because he can't smell anything. When he does, there's no scent at all. However, "Dran Tode S" doesn't smell because it doesn't excrete odor molecules from the body; rather, while odorous components are excreted, the odor molecules themselves are unscented. Therefore, if you continue to smell something, the odor molecules will be absorbed into the body of the person sniffing it. Ueno's experiment this time was a twisted plan to take advantage of this effect and get Tanaka to absorb his own odor molecules and have them accepted by his body. This scene shows Ueno's clumsiness as he goes to such lengths to get Tanaka to accept him.
A long-term, roundabout plan?

Ueno's desire to feed Tanaka panties led her to spend a long time preparing for it. She gradually replaced the dishes in Tanaka's home with smaller ones over the course of six months and reduced the amount of food in Tanaka's school lunch by 20%, apparently hoping to induce a constant hunger craving that would lead Tanaka to eat panties. Ueno's efforts are truly moving. He even goes so far as to create a pair of ordinary-looking pants constructed using a special transition derived from rice flour. Perhaps this roundabout approach is only possible because Ueno is intelligent enough to develop so many different things, but it also makes him seem clumsy.
Ueno Style: A Confession of Devotion

This is when Ueno invented the futuristic rescue device "BG Blue Light." This device can illuminate objects with the same hue as a specified color. This time, we'll be testing the "BG Blue Light" to see if it works, starting with identifying Ueno's handkerchief. The color identified from the handkerchief was "ichikin-zome." This "ichikin-zome" is the name for the pale crimson color achieved by dyeing one piece of silk with one jin (pound) of safflower. During the Heian period, when safflower was a costly dye, this "ichikin-zome" was considered the upper limit of crimson, and any darker crimson was forbidden. This is why "ichikin-zome" is also known as "yurushiro" (a color that conveys a sense of listening). This time, Ueno had used this "yurushiro" color to paint a picture of the two of them sharing an umbrella on her innerwear as a confession of her love to Tanaka. Ueno showed Tanaka the shared umbrella, entrusting the final push in their relationship to the other person, thus challenging herself to the "Ueno-style confession of trust." Ueno immediately darkened the room to see Tanaka's reaction, but when Tanaka looked at Ueno, he turned away, seemingly embarrassed. Just when it seemed like a success, Yamashita said, "Let's lie down for a moment, let's lie down for a moment," and led Ueno to the mirror. Ueno wondered if the message was too strong, and then, upon looking in the mirror, she realized that the essential words on the umbrella were obscured by the tie. Ultimately, this plan ended in disaster, but the intricate details of the plan highlight Ueno's clumsiness.
