Veteran ghoul investigator!?
He is one of the veteran ghoul investigators of the Ghoul Countermeasures Bureau, and is paired with Amon Koutaro as a senior investigator. He is a middle-aged man with a dark aura. He has a hunched back and always wears white gloves on his hands. His wife, Mado Mi, was also an investigator but died in the line of duty, and although he is completely mentally unbalanced, he vows to take revenge on the "One-Eyed Ghoul" who tortured and killed her.

He makes killing ghouls his highest priority, and when fighting, he has a strange expression on his face with his right eye wide open but his left eye half-closed, and he won't hesitate to inflict any pain on their mind and body. He was obsessed with Quinque, a weapon made from the kakuhou on the backs of ghouls, and owned many of them.
Treatised as a weirdo?
His colleagues called him a Quinque maniac and treated him as a weirdo, but he was a sincere and good person to humans. He loved his wife and daughter deeply, and sincerely taught his disciples and juniors. If he had not been so obsessed with revenge against the One-Eyed Ghoul that he turned down promotions, he would likely have become a special class like the others.
The little-known past partners of Mado Kureo
Kura, the Ko-Kaku type Quinque that Kureo possessed, was passed down to Amon Kotaro, and became his favorite weapon. Amon was later promoted to a senior investigator and formed a pair with Mado Akira, Kureo's daughter. His first partner was Shinohara Yukinori, his second partner was Houji Kosuke, and his final partner was Amon.

He kills the wife of the male ghoul who was the source of the Rinkaku Quinque "Fueguchi Ichi", and then takes the Kokaku Quinque "Fueguchi Ni" he created from her, He corners their daughter, Fueguchi Hinami, and tries to use her as material for a Quinque, but she awakens and cuts off his limbs, and is killed in battle by Kirishima Touka, who bursts in.
Madou Kureo's death scene

On his deathbed, he continued to curse Touka, saying, "You damn ghouls... are you worthless in life... Don't make me laugh!", and died while shouting for revenge against the One-Eyed Owl. After his death, it was discovered that he was wearing a wedding ring under his white gloves. After Touka and the others left, Amon finally rushed over and cried when he saw how changed Mado had become, and was left with a regret that would never fade from his heart for not being able to save him.

An investigator belonging to the CCG Headquarters who appears in Tokyo Ghoul. Nicknamed "Akira." Born to a married couple of ghoul investigators, her mother, Mado Umi, was killed by One-Eyed Owl, and her father, Mado Kureo, was killed by Rabbit and Fueguchi. She graduated from the academy at the top of her class, and teamed up with Amon Kotaro, who was her father's student. She is a classmate of Takizawa Masamichi.
Madou Akira's Character
Because she prioritizes efficiency, she does not use honorific language even with her superior, Amon, as she considers it a waste of time, and speaks in simple, masculine language. She is also a researcher of "Quinques," the weapons used by investigators, and designs Quinques herself. On missions, she uses "Chimera Quinques," which are a combination of multiple Quinques. Her upbringing helps her to be a strong-willed woman, but at her core she has weaknesses appropriate to her age.
Surprisingly feminine?

She is feminine and cares about her weight, and is careful not to eat after 9pm. She is so sensitive to alcohol that she gets completely drunk after just one glass of alcohol. She has a cat named Maris Stella.
Quinques used
Prototype 1 → [Tails] A prototype ordered during his time at the academy. Damaged due to wear and tear.
Prototype 2 → [Tails] A prototype ordered after he was appointed as a second-class investigator. It was given a transformation function, but it didn't work out and was damaged.

[Rinkaku] A Quinque made by Fueguchi Hinami's real father, Fueguchi Asaki. It originally belonged to her father.
Relationship with Amon Kotaro

After the death of her father, Mado Kuroo, Akira appeared as a subordinate of Amon, who became a senior investigator. While showing a feminine side of worrying about her weight, she was a character who lived by efficiency and rationality, but as she interacted with Amon, she gradually began to show her human side. At first, he refuses when invited to drink, but later, when he goes drinking, he gets completely drunk. I'm sure many readers were captivated by Akira in this state.
Revealing Weakness
The first time Akira shows his weakness is when he gets drunk and Amon looks after him. Akira, who usually appears strong, is also a human being. His parents were killed by ghouls, and Akira is fighting as an investigator without running away. It's inevitable that he will feel lonely. Akira hugs Amon and cries, calling him "Dad." Amon is touched by Akira's human weakness and feels ashamed of his own immaturity. This brings the two closer as a team.
Kiss! ?

At the end of the original series, before the battle with Anteiku in Ward 20, Akira tries to kiss Amon at his father's grave, where they met for the first time. However, Amon covers Akira's mouth with his hand. In response, Akira says, "That's typical of you." It is difficult to judge whether Akira was nothing more than a subordinate to Amon, or whether he was simply upset by the suddenness of the situation, but how did Akira feel?
A precious person lost
Akira sheds tears upon hearing the news of the deaths of Amon and his fellow soldier Takizawa. Behind his words, "I loved you. Takizawa and Amon-sama," we can see a glimpse of human respect. Akira's parents were killed by ghouls, and yet she is a woman. She has worked hard at her job to avenge her father. Amon helped Akira regain her human warmth during those days, and there is no doubt that he was a great presence who filled the hole in her heart.
Relationship with Sasaki Haise

In re, Akira appears as a senior investigator and is in charge of training the main character, Sasaki Haise. Akira, who once had a hole in her heart filled by Amon, has now been entrusted with the role of a mother figure over time. She is always concerned about Haise, which is why Haise calls her "Mom." The ghouls call her the "Spine User," and she uses Fueguchi to fight Naki during the auction sweep. Due to her achievements, she was promoted to the rank of quasi-special class, just like her late mother, and happily rewarded Haise with a hug.
Mixed feelings

However, Akira himself does not believe that he can fill the maternal heart of others. And Sasaki Haise is originally a ghoul, "Kaneki Ken." He can be said to be Amon's enemy. Akira's complicated feelings are easy to imagine, as he has to accept Haise as a ghoul, how he can fill the maternal bond with others, and if push comes to shove, he will have to deal with Haise as a ghoul.
Relationship with fellow student Takizawa
Takizawa and Akira are fellow students. At the academy and in the field, Takizawa always has a complex about being "second" and feels inferior to Akira. In response, Takizawa would pick a fight with Akira whenever something happened, but was deeply saddened when Takizawa was killed in the line of duty.
A tragic reunion...

Later, during the Rushima landing operation, he takes part as vice captain of the 1st division led by Houji, but on the battlefield he is reunited with his former colleague, Takizawa Masamichi. He denounces him as a "murderous ghoul" for his attitude of baring his fangs even at him, with no trace of his former self remaining, but Amon immediately intervenes and Takizawa ends up fighting Mutsuki. Afterwards, Amon and Takizawa tell Akira that they are "ghouls" and part ways.
He's treated as a traitor, but...

He was branded a "traitor" for protecting the ghoul (Owl), but after the operation, Takizawa took him out of Rushima and escaped. He is currently forced to undergo treatment in the Black Goat's hideout. However, he reunites with Amon there. After that, she accepts Akira's affection and supports her as they escape together.
Summary
What did you think? I don't know if Mado Kureo will appear in the future, but Akira is strong-willed, feminine, and cute. I have high expectations for the future exploits of this charming character.
