The Former God Beasts are beast-like biological weapons that fought as pseudo-divine soldiers during the war. Originally human, they gained powers by absorbing pseudo-divine soldier nuclei in exchange for their human appearance. They were hailed as gods during the war, but after the war ended, they were turned into beasts and hunted down. This time, we'll introduce Hank Henriette, the former captain of the pseudo-divine soldiers.

Hank Henriette Overview

Hank's First Appearance

Hank Henriette is a former captain of the pseudo-divine soldiers. He seems to genuinely care for his comrades and has a very caring personality. He transforms into a white wolf at night, and is one of the few pseudo-divine soldiers who can alternate between human and beast form. However, he fears that he is gradually becoming more beastly. Nancy seems to have feelings for Hank, but Hank doesn't seem to have any feelings for her. Perhaps he is helping her out of a sense of guardianship, as she is the daughter of a colleague.

Hank Henriette as a Child

Elaine

Elaine and Hank

After his parents died in the war, he met Elaine when he was left alone. Elaine was the daughter of the former Blue Lake family, but her home was also burned down and her parents died. At the time, Hank had no memory of the events, not even knowing his own name. Elaine eventually gave him the name Hank. The two began living in the northern capital, scavenging for food. Then, a pastor from a church came and took Elaine and Hank in. There, Elaine began to hear the voice of God. After graduating from Sunday school, Hank became a soldier.

Kane

Hank and Kane

Hank met Kane at Sunday school. Kane's father was the son of Congressman Withers and later became president. He attended Sunday school and seemed to fall in love with Elaine at first sight. He became close friends with Hank. He loved his mother, but she passed away while he was still attending Sunday school.

Hank Henriette and the Corps Oath

The Corps Oath

Hank's Thoughts

After the war, Hank pursued the Corps Oath, defeating suspicious soldiers to fulfill his Corps Oath. That oath required that those who lost their hearts be buried by their comrades. After the war ended, many of the suspicious soldiers were unable to return to their beast form. It seems they still remembered their promise to Elaine. They set out to defeat the pseudo-divine soldiers who had lost their sense of self.

John, Hank, and Nancy

Nancy Follows

Nancy's father, John, was also a pseudo-divine soldier. Hank killed him to fulfill the vows of the unit. Nancy, witnessing this, shot Hank to get revenge. However, Hank was still alive. Learning about Nancy's background, he suggested they work together. He and his daughter, Nancy, continue their journey together. Like Elaine, Nancy seems to be able to hear the voice of God, so perhaps the truth will be revealed through her.

Hank Henriette's Pseudo-Divine Soldier Appearance

Hank is a Pseudo-Divine Soldier

Hank becomes the first Suspect Soldier. Wounded and near death in the war, he is brought to Elaine, who is studying the human body while hearing the voice of God. She uses Hank as a research experiment, and it is a brilliant success. He is a wolf clad in white fur. He has incredible offensive power and vitality, and is one of the few beings who can switch between human and animal form. However, she fears turning into a beast and doesn't seem to like fighting in beast form.

Hank Henriette and Elaine

Elaine grew up with Hank, and the two seemed to have a mutual affection. However, toward the end of the war, Elaine believed that the pseudo-divine soldiers should not exist after the war. She planned to shoot Hank and kill all the pseudo-divine soldiers before dying. Kane, who had consulted her, pretended to cooperate and shot her. He then took her memories and unleashed the pseudo-divine soldiers. It seems he plans to use the pseudo-divine soldiers to wage war again.

Hank Henriette and His Friends

Pseudo-Divine Soldiers x

Hank is on a journey to kill the pseudo-divine soldiers. Each and every one of them has their own story. Some wanted to see the ocean, others built a fortress out of sheer fear, others committed crimes for the sake of the city, and others stuck to their own sense of justice. Hank's journey involves firing bullets at these soldiers. Every encounter leaves him feeling lonely.

Hank Henriette: Final Thoughts

Hank is the protagonist and a pseudo-divine soldier himself. It's all for Elaine and the pseudo-divine soldiers. The kingdom, the church, and Kane. Everything in this story seems to be intricately intertwined. It's sure to be a fascinating read.
