The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. is a comedy anime, but it surprisingly features a lot of romance! Romance develops in a variety of places. Naturally, the main focus is on the heroines! Cute heroines are the stars of anime. This time, we'll be introducing all the heroines who have appeared so far, from those who will likely appear in The Beginning of Psi, to those who have feelings for Kusuo and those who have feelings for other characters!
Teruhashi Kokomi
Teruhashi is undoubtedly the main heroine of this work! As the most beautiful girl in school (and possibly the world), she always exudes a radiant aura, making anyone who sees her, regardless of gender, say "Ohhh." While "Ohhhh" doesn't have any deep meaning, Teruhashi herself seems to be attached to the word, and it eventually became her ambition to make Kusuo say "Ohhhh."
She may look like an incredibly beautiful girl, but on the inside...
Teruhashi appears to be a perfect beauty. However, her inner self is quite different from her appearance. In a word, she has a strong queenly personality. Furthermore, she is loved even by God, and basically everything goes her way. He generally looks down on other people, regardless of gender, and as a result, he can become clearly upset when things don't go his way... However, he's by no means a "nasty guy," and he strives every day to portray the perfect beautiful girl, something that Saiki seems to acknowledge.
Aiura Mikoto
Aside from his family, the only person who knows that Kusuo is a psychic is Aiura Mikoto, who also has psychic abilities. She's a total gal, recognizable from her appearance and manner of speech. At first, she had no connection with Kusuo, but after learning about his powerful aura, she becomes completely captivated. Unlike the other members, she's the type to go all out once she falls in love, and will try to kiss him at any opportunity. However, she also has a pure heart, becoming embarrassed when someone uses her face...
Yumehara Chiyo
Tomoyo is one of the heroines who has appeared since the first season of "The Disastrous Life of Saiki K." As the story progresses, Tomoyo develops feelings for Kaito and is often forgotten, but she also initially liked Kusuo. In the Final Chapter, she confesses her feelings to Kaito on impulse, but because Kusuo rewinds time, she never confesses in the world line of the Psi Start Arc. She is always romantically inclined and is very interested in not only her own love life but also the love lives of others. However, in the world of the anime, she is often used as a comedic character rather than a beautiful girl, and is often placed alongside Teruhashi, so she is always treated badly.
Suzumiya Hii
Suzumiya Hii is the new heroine who appears in the Psi Start Arc. She suffers from an incredibly unlucky constitution, and is struck by life-threatening misfortune every day. Hii's life is simply tragic, with the ability to see sinister auras unlike anything Aibu has ever seen, and her guardian spirit being a useless old man. However, Hii herself doesn't believe she's unfortunate, calling herself a clumsy girl. She's an undeniably beautiful girl, and both Toritsuka and Satou have fond memories of her. At first, she even falls in love with Toritsuka.
Mera Chisato
She comes from a poor family and is constantly consumed by hunger. While she's plump and doesn't seem like much of a heroine, she attracted more attention than Tomoyo when she showed off her swimsuit at the beach. Because she's poor, she works multiple part-time jobs, from waitressing at a cafe to tuna fishing. However, her fatal flaw as a heroine is her insatiable appetite! During her school trip, she ate too many samples and was grabbed by a waiter, but she stubbornly refused to stop.
Rifuta Imu
A beautiful girl who is one year younger than Kusuo and the others. Immediately after enrolling, she thought she was the prettiest girl, but then she faced a huge obstacle: Teruhashi. She decides to win by stealing Kusuo, the boy Teruhashi has a crush on. She didn't particularly like Kusuo and only saw him as a tool to defeat Teruhashi, but she developed a slight crush on him when he chose her over Teruhashi. However, her feelings later turned to Teruhashi, and eventually to Teruhashi's brother.
Saiki Kurumi
Kusuo's mother, currently 37 years old. While she may seem a little old to be called a heroine, she's a cute character and surprisingly popular. When her skin age was measured on her bare face, she was an astonishing 19! She's incredibly naive and still calls high school student Kusuo "Ku-chan." She's also not good at lying or hiding things, and sometimes accidentally blurts out that Kusuo has psychic powers...
A Mother Who's Scary When Angry
They say the kindest people are, the scariest they are when they're angry, and Kusuo's mother is a perfect example! Up until now, Kusuo had never brought friends over, so when he started acting cold towards his friends and the neighborhood kids, her usual carefree demeanor was gone... and she scolded him with a demonic expression. Even Kusuo is afraid of being scolded by his mother, and although he is quite cold towards his father, he is generally kind to his mother.
Saiki Kusuko
She's no longer a heroine, or even a woman... but as you might expect, Kusuko is actually Kusuo, transformed into a woman through psychic powers. While her appearance is quite unusual, the way she eats her favorite food is just like Kusuo's. Teruhashi and Tomoyo, seeing her eat, immediately commented on her resemblance to Kusuo. She's also one of the most beautiful girls in the series, so much so that some classmates fell in love with her at first sight. By the way, the first thing she does is see a Mont Blanc on the table and immediately introduce herself as "Kuriko."
Heroine Summary
So far, what do you think of the heroines we've introduced? While Teruhashi is strongly associated with the heroine of The Disastrous Life of Saiki K., I personally love Aibo, so I'm looking forward to seeing her play an active role in the Psi Start Arc. I'm also curious about Yoi, who appears in the Psi Start Arc. Who was your favorite heroine?
