That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime was published on Let's Become a Novel and became popular, before being adapted into a book and an anime, making it one of the biggest hits of all time. The story follows the protagonist, who is reincarnated into another world and teams up with various races, including humans, to build a town and establish diplomatic relations. Of course, this also includes hostility and conspiracies, and one of the charms of the story is the battle scenes in which the protagonist becomes increasingly strong, almost to the point of being a cheat. In this article, I would like to introduce and discuss the appeal of Shuna (Akana), one of the characters in the series.

Shuna was originally an ogre princess.

Shuna Protects

Shuna deeply loves her master, the strongest slime, Rimuru. She was originally an ogre princess. She's a "shrine maiden princess" and can use magic. A beautiful princess with pink hair, she noticed Rimuru's hidden demonic aura upon first meeting him. She also has excellent observation skills. When Rimuru challenged her to a fight, mistaking her for the demon that attacked the village, it was Shuna who quickly realized his mistake and put an end to the fight. As Rimuru tells Shuna to think about who she's trying to save, this scene also shows Shuna's kindness and her desire to prevent any more Ogre casualties. Benimaru says Shuna was raised as a sheltered child in the Ogre Village.

Shuna is an Ogre Not a Combatant

Shuna Looks Happy

Shuna, who is not a combatant, participates in the battle between Shion and Rimuru's bride candidates, but her appearances seem to gradually decrease. Well, that's understandable, considering the story revolves around battles. Shuna, nicknamed "Orihime," specializes in sewing and weaving. She uses her evolved "Analyst" skill, which allows her to carry out various experiments in a short period of time, to make everyone's clothes. When she's entrusted with making Rimuru's clothes, she looks genuinely happy. She's happy to be relied upon and to be of help to Rimuru. Perhaps she's strong enough in battle?

Shuna is a Shrine Maiden Princess

The biggest question surrounding Shuna is whether she will become Rimuru's bride. Which character will Hanada think will win in a battle that includes Ciel, Shion, and Milim? Shuna, it seems, is quite popular. Is she popular in town too? Indeed, if I went clothes shopping and saw a beautiful woman like her, I'd probably buy some without even thinking about it.
