Shizue Izawa was possessed by a powerful spirit named Ifrit. Sometimes, Ifrit would go out of control. This happened when she was with Rimuru Tempest. Shizu had gone out of control in the past, which led to the loss of her companions. Since then, he has tried not to make any allies, and this time he asks those who came on this adventure with Rimuru and Shizu to leave. However, they are his friends, so he cannot abandon them! He searches for a solution. As Rimuru is pondering what to do, he discovers that one of the adventurers, the sorcerer Ellen, has a magic spell called the "Great Demon Spear of Water and Ice," which might work. Rimuru uses his unique skill "Predator (Crowmono)" to master the spell and counterattack Ifrit. However, he is surrounded in flames by Ifrit's "Flame Explosion Prison Formation" and is in a desperate situation. But just when it seems he is about to die, Rimuru's "Heat Fluctuation Resistance" means he takes no damage. He then uses "Predator (Crowmono)" on Ifrit himself, and the matter is resolved.

No. 9: The Punishment of the Rebel Gabiru

During a battle with the orcs, Gabiru ignored the lizardmen's leader's demands and rebelled. After the battle with the orcs was over, he was taken to prison. And so, the time came for Gabiru's punishment to be decided. Believing it to be his fault for driving the Lizardmen to extinction, Gabiru is taken to the leader, expecting the death penalty. However, the punishment is excommunication. In addition, after being banished, Gabiru is given the Vortex Spear, a spear that should be wielded by the leader of the Lizardmen. Furthermore, Gabiru's subordinates are walking behind him, as if following him. This is a famous scene in which Gabiru has a change of heart and decides to start over.

No. 8: Reunion with King Gazelle

The Duel Between the King and Rimuru

Rimuru Tempest gained attention after defeating Gerudo. One day, Gazelle, the king of Dwargon, came to see Rimuru, wondering what he was like. Rimuru challenges Gazelle, who refuses to listen to what the demons and tree spirits have to say and tells him to draw his sword. Rimuru struggles as the battle relies solely on swordsmanship. No matter what angle or speed Gazelle slashes, she remains unfazed. While Rimuru moves around, Gazelle remains motionless. Gazelle then uses her extra skill, "Heroic Haki." This skill has the effect of causing the target to cower and submit, and the only way to counter it is with willpower. Rimuru thinks this is the end, but he perseveres with willpower. He blocks Gazelle's final sword slash, and with a hearty laugh, Gazelle surrenders. When they first met, Gazelle and Rimuru could barely speak to each other, but this incident brought them closer together. It's a memorable scene.

7th Place: Battle with the Pig-Headed Demon Lord Gerudo

Gerudo is the leader of the orcs who cornered the 300 demons down to just six. Even Trainee, the highest-ranking tree fairy in the forest, comes to Rimuru Tempest to request an extermination, and eventually even the lizardmen are on the brink of extinction. Rimuru is worried about what to do, but makes up his mind by forming an alliance with the lizardmen. Finally, it's time to fight the Gerudo. Even Rimuru, with his overwhelming strength, struggles. However, in the end, he uses his unique skill, "Predator," to absorb the Gerudo. And peace returns to the forest. It's a famous scene.

6th Place: First Meeting with Milim

After defeating Gerudo, Milim became interested in Rimuru Tempest. Out of curiosity, she rushes into the town where Rimuru and his friends live. Milim says she had no particular intention and simply came to say hello, but sensing something unusual, Benimaru, Souei, and the others rush over and launch an attack. However, nothing works against the Demon Lord Milim, and Benimaru and the others are defeated one-sidedly. Seeing the wounded Benimaru and the others, Rimuru declares that he will do it himself and heads toward Milim. Wondering what kind of attack he will launch against Milim's overwhelming strength, he forces honey into her mouth. Amid the tense, all-or-nothing atmosphere, Milim exclaims with shining eyes, "W-What is this!? I've never tasted anything this delicious before!" Rimuru offers to give her the honey if she admits defeat, but Milim insists on calling it a draw. Furthermore, Milim swears not to interfere again, and the situation is somehow resolved. Afterwards, Rimuru says, "From today, we're friends," and she looks embarrassed and happy as she bows her head. This is the memorable scene where Milim and Rimuru first met.

5th Place: King Gazelle Dwargo's Consideration and Vesta's Admiration

This happened after Kaijin punched the minister, Vesta, for insulting Rimuru Tempest. A trial is held for the assault on a country's minister. Since only aristocrats with the rank of earl or higher are allowed to speak in court, neither Rimuru nor Kaijin's companions are able to utter a single word. Furthermore, Rimuru's lawyer was bribed by Kaijin, and only testified against them. However, King Gazelle Dwango seems to have seen through this. He asks Kaijin if he will return to the country. Kaijin, however, swears to serve Rimuru and will not return. Gazelle then hands Kaijin and his companions the punishment of exile. Seeing Gazelle at this time, Rimuru seems somewhat lonely. Gazelle then shows Rimuru the complete healing potion he created, explaining that he has severed the connection to the method of manufacturing this potion, which even the dwarves cannot produce. Gazelle then asks Vester if there is anything he wants to say. Seeing the triumphant return of the king, Vester is reminded of his childhood, when he wanted to serve the king and pledge himself to him. However, now an adult, Vester is unable to honestly admit her mistake. Gazelle forbids Vester from entering the palace. Just when you think she'll leave, Gazelle says to her, "But Bester, your work up to now has been worthwhile." Bester then breaks down in tears. It's a moving and memorable scene that makes you feel the king's consideration and the frustration of the path Bester has chosen.

The goblins were in conflict with the Garo tribe. The land of the goblin village was protected by the dragon Veldora. However, after Veldora's disappearance, the village was attacked by various monsters. Then Rimuru Tempest, who possesses a strong demonic aura, appears and asks for help from the goblins who are fleeing the Garo tribe. After learning that the village chief's son, Riguru, has been killed and that there are no more sacrifices to be made, Rimuru accepts the request.

Rimuru Tempest and his companion, Gobta, visited a blacksmith acquaintance of Kaido. The shop was run by a dwarf named Kaijin, a craftsman of weapons. Kaijin had accepted a request to make around 20 demon steel longswords, but was in trouble because he didn't have enough materials. However, as the request came from the country's minister, he absolutely had to complete the work. At the time, Rimuru had been storing the necessary materials within his body, so he was able to quickly create 20 demon steel longswords. Kaijin throws a celebration to thank the customer, and by chance the minister comes to the shop. As Rimuru is a slime, he is classified as a monster, but the minister seems displeased that a monster is in the shop and splashes water on Rimuru. Rimuru is privately furious, but he is unable to do anything as the other person is also the minister of a country. As uneasy atmosphere prevails, Kaijin punches the minister. Despite the possibility that he may no longer be able to stay in the country, Kaijin protects Rimuru because he is his benefactor, making this scene a memorable one.

After returning from the armed nation of Dwargon, the population of the goblin village had rapidly increased, unbeknownst to Rimuru Tempest. With Veldora, who had been protecting the land surrounding the Goblin Village, gone, the neighboring residents learned that a strong leader named Rimuru had appeared in the village and came seeking refuge. Since there wasn't enough land in their original Goblin Village, Rimuru and his friends headed for a new land. Along the way, they encountered Shizue Izawa and a group of adventurers. Rimuru helped them out and offered to treat them to a simple meal. However, the adventurers seemed a little wary. Rimuru then recited a classic joke from his past life, which made Shizu burst out laughing. Shizu then became convinced that she could trust Rimuru. As they were once again about to head for the new land, Shizu asked Rimuru, "Where is your hometown, Slime-san?" To which Rimuru replied, "Japan," Shizu replied with a big smile, "Just like me. I'm happy to meet you." This was an important scene in which the two finally met someone from the same land, and Shizu was said to be Rimuru's soulmate.

When Rimuru Tempest defeated the spirit Ifrit, who had possessed Shizue Izawa. Shizu was summoned around the time of the Great Tokyo Air Raid, but she still looked young. However, this was merely a life extension provided by Ifrit. Now that Ifrit is gone, Shizu rapidly aged. Just before she passed away, she told Rimuru, "I want to sleep among the nostalgic scenery of my hometown that you showed me." Heeding her wish, Rimuru used his unique skill, "Predator," to absorb Shizu. Later, the thief Guido, the sorcerer Ellen, and the heavy warrior Kabal, who had been adventuring with Shizu, visited her. After hearing the full story, they told the guild master that they were returning to report on the forest investigation. Immediately afterward, Rimuru, who had now become able to transform into Shizu, asked if he could take on Shizu's form again. Rimuru, skeptical, transformed into Shizu, and the three bowed their heads and expressed their gratitude. Though their journey was short, the four formed a strong bond, and Shizu became their best companion.
