"That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" is a light novel originally serialized on "Let's Become a Novelist," and is currently being adapted into a novel and manga. It's a popular work that could be considered a representative example of the Narou genre, and the anime is currently garnering attention with its third season scheduled to air next spring. Ahead of the third season, a new original anime, "Coleus's Dream," is scheduled to air this fall. This time, we'll be reviewing the past series and presenting a ranking of the most popular characters! This article, in the first part, introduces the top 6 characters.

Story Summary

The protagonist, Lilim, saved children in the Kingdom of Ingrassia and is spending the rest of her life as a teacher. Meanwhile, Rimuru receives a request from Yuuki, Grandmaster of the Free Association. He asks him to find information about the ongoing battle for the throne in the Kingdom of Kolius. Rimuru infiltrates the kingdom under the name "Satoru." However, the succession isn't the only issue at stake; various people have their own agendas... and a new story for Lilim begins.

10th Place: Great Sage

Ranked 10th is the Great Sage. This is the skill Mikami (the protagonist's name before reincarnation) acquired when he was reincarnated as Rimuru. He explains the laws of physics in the other world and phenomena that would have been impossible in his previous world. The scene where the Great Sage evolves into the ultimate skill Raphael left a strong impression on many viewers.

9th Place: Veldora Tempest

Ranked 9th is Veldora Tempest. He is the first monster Rimuru encounters after being reincarnated in the other world. Originally a spirit in the form of a dragon, many people may have noticed a stark contrast to his human form. While he is undeniably strong, he also has a surprisingly childish side. He looks like a little child, imitating a fighting game character while reading a magazine, a stark contrast to his dragon form.

8th Place: Benimaru

Ranked in at number 8 is Benimaru. His monster rank is S-class, second only to the highest rank in terms of strength. There's a cheat-level character named Charybtis, who gave Rimuru a hard time, but Benimaru manages to kill him with a single blow. Just this episode alone shows just how powerful he is. He's a character who can control fire, and Benimaru is so memorable that if I were asked, "Which character evokes the image of fire?" I would name him.

7th Place: Sowei

Ranked in 7th place is Sowei. His monster rank is said to be Special A-class. He specializes in information warfare and leads the "Blue Dark Squad," a unit said to be the strongest in this field. Sowei's performance in the unit is impressive, and while he's not as flashy as Benimaru, his overall strength may surpass Benimaru's.

6th Place: Gerudo

Ranked 6th is Gerudo. His monster rank is S-class, and he belongs to the Boar-Man tribe. It may sound strange to say this, but he's on the same level as Benimaru and higher than Sowei. Many people think of Gerudo as a serious, honest person with a strong sense of justice. He can't leave people in trouble alone, and his kindness and reliability have saved many characters in the series. While he's naturally strong, I think his good personality also played a large role in his ranking.
