As the title suggests, Shokudou Isekai is set in a different world, and features not only human men and women, but also elves, beastmen, dragons, and many other fantasy characters. Some characters may seem like just a dragon, but when they transform, they become beautiful women, and some have interesting characters... Who are the most popular among them? This time, my personal preferences are also a big part of the ranking, but I will introduce the most popular characters.

Number 10: Tatsugorou (Teriyaki)

Tatsugorou

The number 10 is the legendary mercenary Tatsugorou. He always orders teriyaki and sake at Nekoya and is often seen arguing with Artorias on friendly terms, but in fact he is a legendary figure whose club name is so well known that no one knows his name on the Eastern Continent. His favorite thing is, of course, his usual teriyaki chicken. In the sandwich episode, it was revealed that he also eats teriyaki sandwiches. (Actually, he has other favorite foods too...) What's great about Tatsugorou is the contrast between the mature and calm atmosphere he exudes and the fact that he's constantly arguing with Artorias! Of course, if the two legendary powers were to get into a serious fight, the restaurant would not be able to get away with it, so it's only an argument, but Tatsugorou's childish side is also one of his good points.

Number 9: Sarah Gold (Menchikatsu)

Sara

Number 9 is Sarah Gold, also known as Menchikatsu. When she first appeared, she got angry when the water was brought to her, saying, "I didn't ask for water," but once she tried menchikatsu, she became addicted to the taste. At Nekoya, she often has childish arguments about which is more delicious, between her and Seeleman (fried shrimp), but although she is active as a treasure hunter in the other world, she is also charming because she is a quiet older sister character at home. She is especially loved by her younger sister Sia, who is five years younger than her, and when she is with Sia, Sara looks even more like an older sister.

Eighth place: The Red Queen

The Red Queen

The eighth place is the Red Queen, one of the six. She appears in the first episode and appears frequently afterwards, but since the six are named by their colors, she surprisingly does not have a character name. The Red Queen's charm is her human form when she visits the store. And she has an unbelievable queenly temperament. When in human form, she is a beautiful woman with an outstanding figure, and wears a dress when she visits Nekoya. Princesses from various countries also appear at Nekoya, but she has the most queenly character of them all. Also, when he brings home a pot full of beef stew from Nekoya, he somehow transforms back into a giant dragon, and the sight of him licking it bit by bit with his tongue is also popular (lol)

Seventh place: Kuro

Kuro

The seventh place is Kuro, who is also one of the six pillars. When he first appeared, he had no facial expressions of joy, anger, sadness, or happiness, but as the story progresses, his facial expressions begin to show these emotions. Among them, the cutest is his happy face when he eats chicken curry and curry bread! At first, the reason he moved to the moon was sad, because "I don't want to get the people around me involved and kill them," so he had a dark image attached to him. Although he smiled at the end when he ate chicken curry for the first time, he generally had no expression even when he thought it was delicious. However, in the second half of the story, he blushed and ate the curry bread with a smile at the end.

Sixth place: Artorias (loin cutlet)

Artorias

In sixth place is Artorias, also known as loin cutlet. He loves loin cutlet and cold draft beer, and never orders anything else... so the owner usually doesn't ask Artorias what he wants to order. (Even if he does ask, he just answers "the usual") Artorias's good point is his very capable ability. He is revered as the world's greatest magician among humans, and although he has a strong image of being drunk, he has a sharp observational eye, as seen when he saw Sarah eating minced cutlet and immediately recognized her as "Mince Katsu II", wrote the menu for Nekoya, and was able to see through Kuro's true identity at a glance. (Victoria is also one of Artorias' disciples.) Another good thing about Artorias is that he is considerate, as he knows that Yomi is alive, but is aware of Yomi's feelings living in another world and hides his secret from the Four Heroes.

Fifth place: Lionel (katsudon)

Lionel

Fifth place goes to Lionel, a legendary gladiator who went from being a gladiator slave. His favorite food is katsudon, and when he comes to Nekoya, he keeps ordering katsudon until he's full. What's good about Lionel is that he's so energetic that it's loud. He always orders a second serving of katsudon so loudly that you wonder, "Do I really need to shout that much!?" He's a bold character, so you might think he'd be satisfied with just eating katsudon, but I also like how he eats the accompanying pickled radish and miso soup (tonjiru) neatly. He is also popular for his "single-mindedness" in continuing to be a gladiator even after he is freed in order to eat katsudon (because he wants to stay in the cell where the door opens).

Fourth place: Victoria Samanarch (Pudding a la mode)

Victoria Samanarch

In fourth place is Victoria Samanarch, the witch princess of the principality. Basically, the menu for the restaurant is made by Arthur, but Victoria is in charge of the sweets and sometimes acts as an advisor for desserts. Victoria is attractive for her calm atmosphere and cute appearance, but when it comes to desserts, she is a little stubborn, which is a good thing. When she was talking about fruit sandwiches with Adelheid, she was uncharacteristically stubborn. She is an elf (half-elf), so she looks childish, but she is actually 36 years old. Another attractive feature is that she will probably not age for another 100 years and will maintain her current beautiful appearance.

Third place: Heinrich Seelemann (Ebi Fry)

Heinrich Seelemann

The third place is Heinrich Seelemann, also known as Ebi Fry. He is a knight of the principality who works hard, but he always gets ahead of himself in everything he does and doesn't listen to what others say, which can cause trouble for those around him. When he first came to Nekoya, he ate and drank without paying, and ran off without listening to the owner, leaving the dwarf's famous sword behind. He has some immature moments, such as arguing with Sarah, who is much younger than him, in the Sandwich War, but as Tatsugoro recognizes him as a "guy worth watching," he is serious at heart and has a charming humanity that even legendary mercenaries recognize.

Second place: Gaganpo (Omurice)

Gaganpo

Second place goes to Gaganpo, who loves omurice. He looks cool and like someone from another world. His well-trained body looks strong. There are many charms to her, but the reason I personally chose Gaganpo as the second place is because of her cuteness! She poses with a smug look on her face and says, "I'll have a large omelette and take home three omelets," and even though she can barely speak human language, she still says "itadakimasu" and "gochisousama." She eats her omelette little by little, savoring it. When a fight breaks out between men, she tries to join in for some reason... she's a character that is full of cute charm, unlike her appearance.

First Place: Aletta

Aletta

The first place in the popularity ranking is Aletta, the main heroine of this work. Other rankings may vary considerably depending on the person, but I think many people would have agreed with this first place. The reason is, of course, her cuteness. Whether she's laughing, embarrassed, or sad, Aletta's charm is that she looks cute with any expression. She is popular for her dedication to learning, having memorized a large number of orders and studying the Eastern Continent language that she couldn't read before. Her slightly clumsy and fluffy personality adds to her charm.

Popular Character Ranking Summary

Aletta2

So far, we have introduced the popularity rankings of the characters appearing in "Restaurant to Another World". What do you think? The first and second places were chosen based on different vectors of "cuteness," but I think many people would have chosen Aletta as their number one choice, regardless of the others. Who was your favorite character number one?
