More than 20 dishes appeared in the first season of "Restaurant to Another World". Since it was broadcast late at night, there were probably many people who watched the delicious-looking dishes with their stomachs rumbling. However, there are still many menus that have not been broadcast in the original! It is expected that even more delicious dishes will appear in the second season. So this time, we will introduce some dishes that have not yet been animated from the original and may appear in the second season. We will also introduce a little bit of the episode.

Fried rice

Aletta

As of August, the contents of the second season are still shrouded in mystery, but since Aletta is depicted in front of fried rice in the Tether PV, it is almost certain that there will be an episode about fried rice. In fact, this is the dish that Aletta ate when she first came to Nekoya and was in training. Therefore, it seems that the timeline is slightly different between the anime and the original work. The fried rice is made with cold rice and wild boar meat brought in by the boy from another world, and in many ways it is a dish that cannot be served to customers, but fried rice is one of the restaurant owner's best dishes, and Aletta was so satisfied that she was moved. Usually, "staff meals" are soup with rotting vegetables floating in it and old, hard-as-nails black bread, so after tasting the fried rice, Aletta decides to find "a job other than serving" in the other world. (Because you can't expect the same level of meal as Nekoya)

Fried oysters

Seeleman

Seeleman is well known for his fried shrimp. One day, he comes to Nekoya to eat fried shrimp as usual, but he sees a sign in the store that says "We've started serving fried oysters." Although he thinks that the word "fried" makes it a similar dish to fried shrimp, he is about to order fried shrimp, but then two drunken dwarves come to Nekoya. Then, Gillem gets excited when he sees the words "fried oysters." Without any hesitation, he orders fried oysters and draft beer. Seeleman, who was curious about fried oysters after watching the scene, changed his mind and ordered fried oysters. He ate three plates of fried oysters and one plate of fried shrimp that day, and from then on, fried oysters became one of his favorite dishes.

Almond Chocolate

Sarah

The protagonist of the Almond Chocolate episode is Junior. His real name is William Gold. Speaking of William, he reminds us of the original Minced Cutlet, but this William is Minced Cutlet's grandson. In other words, he is Sarah's cousin. Junior went missing while traveling 10 years ago and was thought to have died. For that reason, both of them were surprised when they visited Nekoya and were reunited with Sara. Junior brought his apprentice Maribel (his wife's sister) with him, and the two ordered almond chocolate at Nekoya during the "Valentine's Day Celebration." Almond chocolate was something Maribel's father was obsessed with, so it was a taste that brought back memories for Maribel and his wife. Junior tried many different kinds of chocolate, and ordered a box of almond chocolate to take home for his wife. He gave Sara the notebook as proof that he was alive, and left for the other world.

Japanese-style grated hamburger

Owner

She does not appear in the book version, and it is unclear whether she will appear in the anime, but the Hamburger Again episode is one to watch as it plays a major role in the story. The protagonist of this episode is Saki, the manager's niece. The author was planning to have Saki appear as a major character when Aletta appeared. Saki, who came to work at Nekoya, saw people from another world there and mistakenly thought they were cosplaying. She eventually screams when she sees Gaganpo who has come to order an omelet rice, but she ends up working at Nekoya.

Onion Bacon Pizza

Sirius

This story is about Thomas' grandson Sirius Alfeid, also known as Meat Sauce, and Jonathan Wiensberg, his personal chef. Sirius, who received the right to pass through the door from Thomas, invites Jonathan, who has been close to the city and has been close to him for a long time, to Nekoya. Sirius was looking for a product that would surpass Thomas's "Knight's Sauce" and was researching dishes made with quince (tomatoes from another world). So he introduced Jonathan, the chef, to pizza made with plenty of tomatoes. The only way to trade quince in another world is through Alfeid. In other words, if pizza becomes popular in the other world, Alfeid Trading Company, which has a near monopoly on the ingredient, malt, will be able to make even more profit, which may even surpass the "Knight's Sauce" created by Thomas. With that intention, Sirius brought along the chef Jonathan, who also became immersed in his research.

Morning Again

Morning Again

Morning also appeared in the first episode of the first season. In the original work, there is another morning episode, but this time it is not the owner and Aletta, but Sarah and Aletta's morning. A year has passed since Aletta had her first breakfast, and today is the day her salary was raised to 12 silver coins. Aletta buys her weekly cookie assortment and the minced cutlet sandwich that Sarah requested from the manager, and receives a silver tube as a freebie. Inside is the corn potage that Aletta first ate since coming to the other world. After returning to the other world, Aletta prepares bread and cheese for breakfast, along with the corn potage given to her by the store owner. Normally she only thinks of it as a side dish for minced cutlet, but she thoroughly enjoys the "taste of Nekoya" in the other world.

Barbecue

Barbecue

Barbecue has already appeared in the comics, so I think there is a good chance it will appear in the anime. It's hard to imagine a barbecue in a restaurant, but this barbecue was food planned to be served at a festival stall, not at the Otherworld Restaurant. The festival is held on Sunday, so the owner prepared the skewers on Saturday. He served the skewers as a meal for Aletta, but... there were a dwarf, an ogre, a vampire, and a priest who serves the god of light, all of whom would be explosive if they met in another world. No matter how delicious it may look, staff meals cannot be ordered because they are not for serving to customers, and in a sense are a phantom dish. Everyone looked longingly at Aletta as she ate the skewers served as the staff meal with gusto. However, after she had finished eating, the owner said, "I'm sure these will sell well tomorrow," and the situation changed completely. "If they're for sale, we can sell them too..." and so orders came in all at once, and the owner ended up grilling over 100 skewers that he hadn't planned on serving that day.

Scones

Aletta eating

The main characters of this episode are not the owner and Aletta... but the manager, who is also the owner's best friend, who has come there. The manager is the manager of Flying Puppy, which is well known for its cookie assortments. You may be wondering, "Is it okay for ordinary people to know the secret of the other world?", but the manager was loved by the previous owner as if he were his grandson, and in fact, he knew the secret of the Otherworld Restaurant from the previous owner's time. The manager brought jam and scones to be served at the "Spring Strawberry Fair". One of the two jams was a gift prepared for Aletta, a regular customer who always buys cookies, and the other was to be put on the scones to taste them. The three of them have a late tea party after work. Aletta gives the strawberry jam she received to Shea, who always buys cookies... but a small fight breaks out between Sarah and Shea over the strawberry jam.

Pound Cake

Celestine

This episode has already appeared in the comics, and since she is a very strong character and has appeared multiple times, it is likely to appear in the second season. The main character is Celestine, a high priest of the God of Light. Even Celestine, who is known as "a person with a steely willpower who does not eat luxury goods," could not resist Nekoya's pound cake. She struggles with the situation and tries to escape the temptations of Nekoya, but she is defeated by the temptation of the pound cake every time. When she leaves the store, she swears not to come back next time, but her vow is easily broken. The brandy cake she was given as a souvenir is called the "Devil's Cake," and Celestine spends the next 10 years working with her apprentices to recreate the brandy cake.

Summary of episodes likely to appear in the second season

The three Nekoya people

So far, we have introduced some of the original episodes that may appear in the second season of "Isekai Shokudou." What did you think? The appearance of new characters is also attracting attention, but the scenes where characters who have appeared so far eat other dishes are also interesting. It is not yet known which episodes will be animated, but it seems like it will be fun no matter which episode is released. Personally, I would like to see the scone episode in the anime...
