The second season of Bokuyaba, also known as My Dangerous Wife, is fast approaching! The first season was packed with the romantic comedy elements of Ichikawa and Yamada, and the emotional content was so engaging it was almost embarrassing to watch! I'm already looking forward to the second season! This time, I've created a popularity ranking of Bokuyaba characters!
Popularity Ranking #1: Anna Yamada
The heroine of Bokuyaba. Tall, outgoing, and a model for magazine readers, she has a figure that's hard to believe she's only a second-year middle school student, making her the pinnacle of the outgoing community. Although she seems to never cross paths with Ichikawa, the protagonist of this work, her true nature is that of a greedy girl who sneakily brings snacks to school and eats them. She's a very airheaded and laid-back girl. Because her friend is allergic to snacks, she starts eating snacks in the library, which leads to her relationship with Ichikawa.

Gradually, he begins to think about Yamada more and more, and becomes aware of his feelings for her.

Kyoutaro Ichikawa's older sister. A university student and member of the light music club, she's close enough to her brother that they sometimes hang out together. She's generally a good older sister who cares about her younger brother, but when he starts communicating with a really cute girl, she assumes he's in a (probably) unrequited love and tries to support him so he doesn't get hurt. However, after he starts interacting with Yamada over the New Year holidays, she decides he's definitely interested in her and starts annoying him.

Kyotaro's older sister, and she's quite close with her brother. She can be annoyingly cute and sometimes annoying, but she's generally a good older sister who cares about her younger brother. Although she's not as socially awkward as Kyotaro, her fundamental way of thinking is similar to his, and she can be a bit creepy when she senses his extroverted vibes. She can be annoying, but she's actually a pretty reliable older sister. She's a character I wish she had more screen time for.
Popular Character Ranking #5: Kobayashi Chihiro
Ichikawa's classmate, a girl in Yamada's group. Yamada calls her "Chii," and Sekine calls her "Payashiko." Her caring personality makes her a barrier to the boys who flirt with Yamada.
She protects Yamada with such ironclad defense that Ichikawa calls her "boyfriend," but she's actually quite gullible.

Despite being beautiful, a magazine model, and extremely popular with boys, Yamada doesn't seem to care much about that, so she's the kind of girl who protects him from the guys who flirt with her... but she's also weak to the opposite sex and quite gullible, so when she's used as a bait to invite Yamada out, she doesn't even realize it and goes along with it. She's a cool, yet gullible, and cute character.

Here's a list of the most popular characters from My Dangerous Wife! That said, since the story is primarily about Anna Yamada and Kyotaro Ichikawa, there aren't many highlights for other characters. But the two main characters are incredibly compelling! Their relationship will develop even more in Season 2, so I can't wait for it to start airing!
