Shima Rin, a high school girl who enjoys camping alone, enjoys a camping trip at the foot of Mount Fuji during the winter off-season. On the same day, he rescues Nadeshiko Kakamigahara, who is stranded after falling asleep and returning home late. Meeting Rin sparks Nadeshiko's interest in camping, and in high school she joins the Outdoor Activities Club (commonly known as Nokuru) and begins camping with the other members. Rin, who prefers to travel alone and initially turned down Nadeshiko's invitation, gradually deepens her relationship with Nadeshiko and her friends through social media.
Kouan Campground (Minobu Town, Yamanashi Prefecture)
When talking about "Laid-Back Camp△," this campground is a must-see. Located in Minobu Town, Yamanashi Prefecture, Kouan Campground is the inspiration for the place where Rin Shima and Nadeshiko Kakamigahara first met. Located north of Lake Motosu, this spot boasts views of Mt. Fuji and its inverted reflection in the lake. This spectacular view is even featured on the back of the 1,000 yen bill. It's about a 25-minute drive from Kawaguchiko IC.
Fumotopara (Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture)
Fumotopara, located in Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture, is a popular campground, modeled after the spot Rin visited during her solo camping trip. Enjoy views of Mt. Fuji from the beautiful grasslands. Like Koan Campground, you can also enjoy the inverted view of Mt. Fuji. Currently, reservations are required. It's about a 40-minute drive from Shin-Fuji IC.
Hottarakashi Onsen (Yamanashi City, Yamanashi Prefecture)
Hottarakashi Onsen was already a nationally famous hot spring. Its appearance in the anime further increased its fame and popularity. From the open-air bath, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji and the Kofu Basin. Why not spend a wonderful time soaking in the hot spring and enjoying the spectacular view? We also recommend the specialty, fried egg, so be sure to try it after your bath. It's about a 25-minute drive from Katsunuma Interchange.
Kozenji Temple (Komagatake City, Nagano Prefecture)
Kōzenji Temple in Komagane City, known as the "Dog Temple" in the anime, is also famous for its frequent visits by fans. The temple is famous for the legend of Hayataro, the sacred dog who is said to have fought a monster monkey. Hayataro fortune-telling slips are also famous, and Rin also drew one. In spring, approximately 70 weeping cherry trees bloom in full bloom, creating a spectacular view. It's about a three-minute drive from Komagane IC, making it an easily accessible tourist spot.
Makai Farm (Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture)
In the anime, this ranch appears under the name "Jukai Farm." Located in the Asagiri Plateau at the foot of Mount Fuji, this ranch offers sweet treats like gelato and soft-serve ice cream. Day-trip glamping and animal encounters are also available. The sheep area is close to Mount Fuji, making it feel like you're in Switzerland. Next to the pasture is a swing that looks just like something out of "Heidi, Girl of the Alps." With Mt. Fuji in the background, it's also a popular photo spot. It's about a 30-minute drive from Shin-Fuji IC.
