An editor recognized her unique talent and potential, and she made her professional debut as a high school girl four-panel manga artist. However, she ended up coming in last in a reader survey. Fans have left harsh comments such as "The story is boring," "The drawings are bad," "The characters aren't cute," "This is the first time I've seen such unrealistic high school girls, so the author needs to look at reality a bit more," and "Honestly, it's a bit mediocre." The fan opinions are spot on, with the story, characters' appeal, and realism lacking. As her last name suggests, she draws her manga with cuteness in mind.

The female students admired the other manga artists, but mistook Kaoruko, who was with them, for an elementary school student and said, "I hope you can be one too when you grow up! Let's do our best, okay?" Despite being mistaken for an elementary school student, Kaoruko showed her innocent side by replying, "Yes!!"

After changing her hairstyle, Kaoruko's usual look changes and she becomes much cuter. However, this doesn't mean she's become more mature; it means she's still cute in the category of a young child.

After moving into the girls' manga artist dormitory, she became friends with some of the people she lived with, but she struggles to communicate well due to her extreme social anxiety. Even on her first day at her new school, her classmates bombarded her with questions, and although she was talking in her head, she couldn't respond properly and ended up fainting. Despite her extreme social anxiety, Kaoruko naturally becomes friends with animals. Rather than becoming friends with them, animals tend to approach her and she is surrounded by them. In fact, animals love Kaoruko more than humans.
