The currently airing anime "Comic Girls" is a slice-of-life anime about girls striving to become successful manga artists. I'd like to share some of the charms of "Comic Girls"!

Part 1: The characters are unique and cute!

The story features a unique cast, including the negative and insecure protagonist, Kaoruko Moeda, the bright and energetic Koizuka Koyume, the older sister-like yet unexpected Ruki Irokawa, and the boyish Katsuki Tsubasa. The people surrounding the four main characters are also wonderful and cute. Find your favorite character!

Part 2: The relationships between the characters are great!

Koizuka Koyume is obsessed with Katsuki Tsubasa, and they even go on dates to an amusement park together. When drawing shojo manga, she even draws male characters inspired by Katsuki. It's intriguing to see what will happen to their relationship!

Part 3: The image of hard-working girls is great!

These characters are high school girls by day and work hard as manga artists after school. Their efforts to become successful manga artists while juggling both life and careers are inspiring and motivating. The girls' sometimes troubled and sometimes cooperative efforts are captivating.

Part 4: A heartwarming, soothing slice-of-life story!

The appeal of slice-of-life anime is its heartwarming and soothing story! This is also fully demonstrated in Comic Girls. Because it depicts everyday, mundane life, you can enjoy the anime at your own pace. Even so, one of the joys of slice-of-life anime is noticing the subtle changes in clothing, hairstyles, and other details.

No. 5: The opening and ending themes are great!

The opening theme evokes the seasons of spring, summer, fall, and winter. It depicts both her side as an ordinary high school girl and her side as a manga artist, condensing the structure of a slice-of-life anime. As characters appear one after another, you won't be able to take your eyes off it. It's a refreshing and lovely opening theme. The ending theme is based on a pale light blue color scheme, and the four characters are wearing similar outfits, which is very heartwarming. The relaxed, laid-back feel makes it a perfect ending theme. Both the opening and ending themes are also sung by the voice actors of the four main characters.

No. 6: The original work is also interesting!

Comic Girls is based on the manga of the same name by Kaori Hanzawa, serialized in Manga Time Kirara MAX. Four volumes have been published to date, and there is also an anthology comic. There are plenty of stories not shown in the anime! Be sure to enjoy it along with the anime!

Part 7: Real-life locations appear!

Akihabara, Shinjuku, and other locations appear almost exactly as they were. Pilgrimages to these locations have become a popular pastime recently. Walking the same places Comic Girls characters have walked is another charm, I think. Be sure to check out the locations as you watch.

Part 8: The illustrations are cute!

When watching anime, the character designs are important, aren't they? Comic Girls features the classic slice-of-life anime art style, and is incredibly cute without being overly bold! The colors are just right, making it a heartwarming experience to watch.

Part 9: Full of eye-catching scenes!

One of the charms of slice-of-life anime is seeing each character in all sorts of different looks. They're full of soothing scenes, from various hairstyles and outfits to scenes of them eating and relaxing in their rooms. In scenes where they go to the beach, they often appear in swimsuits that suit them perfectly. You won't be able to take your eyes off the characters as they enjoy everyday life and the seasons!

Part 10: The trailer is hilarious!

The preview for the next episode has a manga-like feel, in keeping with Comic Girls. The presentation varies depending on the episode, from American comic book style to four-panel manga style. Be sure to check out not only the main story but also the previews.
