A woman who died from overwork in her previous life is reincarnated as an immortal witch and is supposed to be living a slow life for 300 years, but as the title suggests, she ends up killing slimes and reaching the maximum level, something every RPG fan has thought about at least once, and she ends up running into a lot of trouble that disrupts her slow life. This is a homely comedy that depicts how she solves these problems and the little everyday incidents that occur.

Living in a house on the plateau, he interacts with the nearby village of Furata and leads a slow life, defeating slimes that drop magic stones, an exchangeable item for living expenses. One day, 300 years later, he checks his status and finds that he's maxed out at level 99. This causes various problems, but gradually his family grows and he's enjoying life to a certain extent.

Behavior Based on Experience

Due to her experiences in her previous life, she hates overworking herself and others, and will stop anyone around her from overworking themselves, even if it means pulling all-nighters. She also dislikes getting involved in trouble because it interferes with her slow life, but deep down she's a good-natured person who can't stand to see someone in trouble, and in the end, she ends up getting dragged into it one way or another.

Her physical age is fixed at 17, and her skin age is young, so she wears what's known as natural makeup. She describes herself as "fairly cute," but because the cuter Laika, Falfa, and Sharsha, and the more stylish Harukara, stand out more than she does, she's almost never depicted as receiving compliments on her appearance. Especially after Harukara's appearance, she's often jealous of her breasts, and is portrayed as somewhat of a flat-chested character.

Love Perspective

While he enjoys his immortal life, he has given up on romance and marriage because "it would mean losing my partner." For that reason, he cherishes his current family, especially his two daughters, Falfa and Shalsha (later adding Sandra from Mandragora, bringing the total to three), and will do anything to resolve any family crisis. He often plays the straight man, but for some reason, he has a habit of speaking in a masculine tone, saying things like, "Hey, it's...!"

He wasn't particularly strong immediately after his reincarnation, but after slaying slimes for 300 years, his level has reached its maximum, so of course he's very high. ...In fact, he's the strongest in the world. While his magical abilities are actually stronger, he often uses his high stats to defeat opponents with bare hands. He defeated the dragon-formed Leica and Flatterte with a single blow, and even defeated the Demon King Pecola by shattering her sword with his fist.

Although she has great magical powers, she has not received instruction from a master or other authority, but has instead self-taught herself using grimoires. She has acquired the rare skill "Magic Creation," which allows her to create barrier and recovery spells that she would not otherwise have mastered, making them useful in critical situations. However, even she has difficulty with demonic magic, which requires unique pronunciation. She often mispronounces the only spell she can use to summon Beelzebub, resulting in her summoning him in the wrong place (usually the bathroom at home).

Her occupation as a "witch" is her specialty: concocting potions. She occasionally sells her homemade medicines to the villagers and treats the sick. Because of this, the infant mortality rate in Furata Village is extremely low, earning her the nickname "The Witch of the Plateau." Recently, she has been getting into more and more trouble, and she feels a sense of crisis that her job is being neglected, so she has traveled far and wide to find ingredients for her medicines.

Applying Knowledge from a Previous Life

While searching for ingredients for medicine, he discovered beans similar to glutinous rice and red beans, and succeeded in recreating a manju. Since the word "manju" is a place name, he gave it a slime-like appearance and named it "edible slime." He sold it as a specialty of Furata Village (through Harukara Pharmaceuticals, the company headed by Harukara).

Later, when he became embroiled in a dispute between God Mega Mega and Goddess Nintan, a veteran deity of this world, he was leveled up by God Mega Mega. He finally surpassed the barriers of humanity. Her stats rose dramatically, and she was no longer able to keep up with Nintan's movements, which she had previously barely been able to follow with her own eyes, but now she moved at a speed so fast it was impossible for her to see, making her even stronger than a god.

Laika

After hearing rumors about Azusa, she challenged her to a duel, but was defeated by Azusa in a fit of rage after destroying her house. She subsequently reformed and became her apprentice. At first, she considered refusing to take on Azusa, but eventually accepted after she began to care for her. She respects Azusa, and to Azusa, she is more like a younger sister than a student.

Falfa

The older sister of the twin "Slime Spirit" sisters born as a result of Azusa's actions. She was shocked when she was suddenly called "mother," but after the incident, she officially became Azusa's daughter. She calls her "Mama."

Shalsha

The younger twin sister. She attempted to take revenge on Azusa, who had killed many slimes, but failed. After the incident, she adopted her as her daughter. At first, she called her the "Witch of the Highlands," but later began calling her "Mom." In the manga, when she was called "Mom," her maternal instinct struck a chord in her heart.

Harukara

When Beelzebub (or so she mistakenly thought) was trying to kill her, she sheltered her as her apprentice, and even after the misunderstanding was cleared up, she continued to live with her as her apprentice. While she often relies on Harukara's knowledge, she is often hurt by her clumsy nature. She also sometimes feels murderous when she sees her outstanding figure (especially her breasts). She sometimes works part-time at the factory manager's nutritional liquor factory.

Belzebub

The incident with Harukara led to their continued interaction. Azusa often turns to her for help when she is struggling to solve a problem, and she acts as both a friend and an "older sister." However, he's also a dangerous opponent, as he's plotting to adopt both of her daughters.

Summary

Serialized on "Let's Become a Novelist," the novel was later adapted into a book and later adapted into a manga by Yusuke Shiba for Square Enix's "Gangan Online." It's so popular that it ranked 9th in the paperback/novel category in the 2019 edition of "This Light Novel is Amazing!" Be sure to check it out.
