This has become a standard ranking of popular characters. Naturally, the characters are chosen from all those that appear in the work, regardless of gender, but in this work, "I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level," there are no male characters other than minor characters. Not only the main character, Azusa, but all of her family members are female. The Demon King and his subordinates are also all female. So it turns out to be a ranking of popular heroines... but there is one big difference between the girls (tentative names) appearing in this ranking and those in other works. Most of them are over 200 years old! They may look beautiful, but inside they are at an age where they treat old people like children. We will introduce a popularity ranking of these slightly strange beautiful girls!
10th Place: Sandra
Our 10th place pick is a plant girl named Mandragora. Mandragora itself is just a plant, and witches and elves treat it like a medicinal herb. However, after growing up for over 300 years, Sandra has become human in appearance and personality, able to think and speak for herself. Her personality is clearly tsundere, and she's basically a bit of a standoff. As a plant, she generally doesn't spend time indoors, living in the soil of her family's vegetable garden in the highlands. Although she's 300 years old, she looks younger than Falfa and Sharsha, and her intelligence is child-level. After joining the family, Falfa and Shalsha teach her how to read and write. However, because she's over 300 years old, she calls Azusa "Azusa." Even though she's not good at studying, her intimidating preaching is seen as more powerful than her parents'.
Why Sandra is #10
Sandra is cute and has a tsundere personality, making her likely to become popular. However, she joined the family much later than the other characters, and it's unclear whether she'll appear in the anime, so we ranked her #10. If she doesn't appear in the anime, you should check out the original manga.
9th Place: Fatra & Vanya
In 9th place are the Leviathan sisters, Fatra & Vanya. In addition to their secretarial duties, their main role is to greet and greet guests in their Leviathan forms, and even their work reflects their personalities.
Fatra, the Older Sister
Fatra (pictured left) is the older sister, with a calm and reliable personality as a secretary. In the anime, she first appears in Leviathan form while transporting Azusa and the others to the Demon Realm. She served as Beelzebub's subordinate when he became minister about 300 years ago, and is likely the woman he trusts most. Her age is unknown, but she's much older than Azusa and the others. She flies safely and courteously when picking up or dropping off passengers. She's also a hard worker, constantly being bossed around by her younger sister.
Sister Vanya
Vania (pictured right), the assistant secretary, is energetic and does what she pleases. She first appeared in the anime as an attendant transporting Fatra to the Demon Kingdom. Unlike her sister, she demonstrates her incompetent assistant secretary skills, such as leisurely bathing during work hours. On the way back, she transforms into Leviathan to drive her sister home. However, as her sister feared, she laughs at a reminiscence, causing significant turbulence during flight, demonstrating her incompetent nature once again. However, her cooking skills are recognized by everyone, even Laika being amazed by her high level of skill. (Sometimes the materials themselves are luxury items costing over 1,000 times the price...)
8th Place: Harukara
Our 8th place pick is Harukara, the series' biggest troublemaker. What stands out most is her impressive figure, so much so that she's often told twice a day, "What a naughty body!" Even Azusa, along with men who meet her for the first time, is jealous of her figure. (Azusa, due to God's preference, can't be a character with large breasts.) Her careless personality seems to be inherited from her family, as everyone in her family is similar to Harukara. In any case, she's a troublemaker who causes one problem after another, and the number of incidents she's committed is countless... As an elf, her main diet is vegetables, but despite being over 200 years old (she claims to be 17 years and 2500 months old), she frequently picks poisonous mushrooms and feeds them to Azusa, and her careless personality doesn't seem likely to change. However, as Azusa calls her a "troublesome junior," her lovable and lovable side is also part of Harukara's charm.
7th Place: Rosalie
Our seventh place pick is Rosalie, a ghost girl who lived on the construction site of the Harukara Pharmaceutical Factory in Nascute Town. At age 15, she was deceived by her parents and nearly sold to the red-light district, leading to her suicide. At first, she was a ghost bound to the land and unable to move, but with the help of Azusa and her friends, she was able to move freely. At 15 years old and with about 200 years of ghost history, she is younger than Azusa and the others. She calls Azusa "Big Sister" and also calls the older girls, Laika and the others, "Big Sister" and "Big Sister."
6th Place: Falfa & Sharsha
In sixth place are the twin fairies whom Azusa adores as daughters. Originally born from the souls of the many slimes hunted by Azusa, they appear to be children around 10 years old, but they have been around for about 50 years. She awakens Azusa's maternal instincts, even 300 years old, and even Beelzebub is smitten with her adorableness.
Older Sister, Farfa
A kind-hearted girl with light blue hair who has called Azusa "Mama" since the beginning. (Image on the right) A bright, energetic girl at an age where she's curious about everything. She excels in math and science, solving university-level problems and so smart that she caused trouble for her elementary school teacher, leading to her immediate graduation. Having traveled to defeat evil slimes, she is also a fairly skilled adventurer. She knows slime weaknesses and can blow them up with a single thrust. She has the most childlike personality, crying out loud when Harukara causes an incident and the whole family is taken away.
Younger Shalsha
Unlike her older sister, she has a quiet personality with light green hair. (Image on the left) Perhaps because she spends her free time reading difficult books, her speech is rather formal. When she first appeared, she held a grudge against Azusa and was the "ultimate weapon against Azusa," nullifying all of her magic. However, after they became family, she began calling Azusa "Mother" and showed such adorableness that she was able to awaken Azusa's maternal instincts and knock her out with a single blow. She's quiet and generally expressionless, but like a child, she's interested in many things. Her cool yet childlike nature is what makes Shalsha so charming.
5th Place: Pekora
In fifth place is Pekora, the Demon King who rules over Vanzeld Castle. Her exact age is unknown, but it's been between 250 and 300 years since she became the Demon Lord. At first glance, she appears to be about the size of a middle school student, and her height is significantly smaller than Azusa's. However, her breasts are far larger than Azusa's... but when she undresses and takes a bath, they somehow become smaller, appropriate for her age. She claims it's a "special feature," but the exact nature of this is a complete mystery. She's the only character in the story who describes Azusa as "big-breasted," and Azusa doesn't seem to mind.
Pecora Loves Her Big Sister
Pecora's best quality is her all-out "yuri" (female) nature. As expected of someone who immediately began searching for the ideal big sister after becoming the Demon Lord, her behavior escalates after she begins to admire Azusa, who is stronger than her. It all starts with Azusa's "kabedon" (wall push), and it seems she enjoys being ordered around, not giving orders. When asking for something, she doesn't just ask, but calls Azusa by her first name and refuses to listen to commands. She clings to Azusa when they walk, and when they're alone, she begs for kisses and lets him carry her like a princess. However, she also has a sheltered side. When they all took a bath together, she said, "I've never had the opportunity to see someone's breasts except through a cloth," and was embarrassed about bathing with them, calling it "indecent."
4th Place: Flat Lute
In fourth place is Flat Lute, the Blue Dragon and Laika's eternal rival. Although she looks about the same age as Raika, she appears slightly younger than Raika, who behaves more like a child. However, she's over 400 years old, about 100 years older than Raika. She's the oldest member of the family living in the witch's house. However, she looks like a middle school student, calls Azusa "master," and like Raika, Azusa treats her like a younger sister, so she doesn't seem like the oldest at all. When Azusa rested her head on her lap and stroked her head, she even called her "Mom..."
No sense of shame!?
Flatolte's personality is incredibly honest! She never lies or tries to please others. Flatolte's strengths lie in her honesty and her ability to act immediately. However, this often leads to her going out of control. When they went boar hunting in the mountains, she threw off her clothes, saying they were getting in the way, and ran naked through the mountains. She later returns crying, saying she's been seen by someone, but then goes on a rampage again, claiming she won't be embarrassed if she puts on her underwear. During a battle with a wild boar, her underwear is ripped off, leaving her completely naked again. However, she continues fighting the boar without caring about her nakedness, and is also depicted eating with everyone while still naked.
3rd Place: Azusa
Our third place pick is the main character of this work, Azusa, also known as the "Witch of the Highlands"! Although she's over 300 years old, her immortality keeps her forever 17 years old. As a result of constantly defeating slimes, she reached maximum level, becoming even stronger than the Demon King. Having lived for 300 years, she was considered a guardian deity in the nearby village and was affectionately known as the "Witch of the Plateau."
Azusa After Starting a Family
Azusa's best quality is that she grows stronger with each new member of her family. At first, Azusa lived a carefree life alone for 300 years, but as her family grew, her way of thinking also changed. Especially after Falfa and Shalsha joined her family, her maternal instincts awakened and she became a complete mother. She values her family above all else, and while she normally doesn't enjoy fighting, she shows no mercy to anyone who threatens to harm her family, whether it's a dragon or the Demon King. This devotion to her family is Azusa's greatest quality.
Second Place: Laika
Second place goes to Laika, the red dragon who became Azusa's first family member! She's skilled at cooking and laundry, and her cooking skills are so impressive that they even impress Azusa. She's the most beautiful girl in the series, and when she dons her maid outfit, not only the customers but Azusa too are captivated by her beauty. She's shy and jealous, but also good at cooking and laundry, earnest and submissive. And yet, she's also competitive—she's the epitome of moe. That's what makes Laika so great.
Raika Loves Azusa
All of Azusa's family members (including the Demon King) have feelings for her, but Raika is especially fond of her. She's particularly jealous of Flatterte, and when she sees Azusa resting her head on her lap, she says, "I'm jealous of you being so spoiled..." and pulls him away. When Flatterte tries to take Azusa to her parents' house, she accompanies him, saying, "It's unfair that we're traveling alone together."
1st Place: Beelzebub
Our top pick goes to Beelzebub, the minister of the Demon King's kingdom! Originally a low-ranking official, he was merely an ordinary commoner, but Pecola recognized his abilities and big sisterly qualities, leading to his current position. While he looks much like Azusa and Harukara, he is about 3,000 years old, far older than Azusa. For this reason, Azusa relies on him as a "reliable older sister" whenever she's in trouble. Although she appears to be a cool, mature woman, she's surprisingly girly inside and finds love conversations shy and difficult. Perhaps because she loves cute things, she tries to turn Falfa and Shalsha into her daughters at every opportunity, and was overjoyed when Azusa was turned into a child. This contrast is part of Beelzebub's charm.
Belzebub Plays a Major Role in the Spinoff
The immensely popular character, Beelzebub, has also been adapted into a comic book as the protagonist of a spinoff. The spinoff explores how Beelzebub, a low-ranking official, became a minister and the work he has done, revealing a different side to Beelzebub's charm.
