The official title is "I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level Without Even Knowing." It's a light novel written by Kisetsu Morita about reincarnation in another world.
A woman who died from overwork in her previous life is reincarnated as an immortal witch and is supposed to be living a slow life for 300 years, but as the title suggests, she ends up killing slimes to reach the maximum level - something every RPG fan has thought about at least once - and ends up running into a lot of trouble that disrupts her slow life. This is a homely comedy that depicts how she solves these problems and the little everyday happenings that occur.

A greater demon, the King of Flies. However, he loves hot springs, so he's surprisingly clean. He originally worked as a low-ranking official in the Ministry of Agriculture in the Demon Kingdom for over 1,500 years (he turned down all offers of promotion), but was suddenly promoted to Minister of Agriculture when Pekora became the Demon King. At that time, he forced himself to speak in a more aristocratic tone, which gives him a slightly old-fashioned way of speaking.

She appears to be the same age as the protagonist, Azusa (who looks 17), but she has tanned skin and two horns on her head. She also has insect-like wings on her back, allowing her to fly. She prefers revealing clothing, speaks in a bossy tone, and uses expressions like "I'm a hero" and "That's..." (according to Azusa). She looks like "the evil female executive in a Sentai series."

He serves as the Minister of Agriculture in the Demon Kingdom, and he's a truly important person, not just in his attitude. He's extremely diligent in his work and has no ambition or desire for power, making him far from the typical corrupt minister. On the other hand, he has a caring and friendly personality. Contrary to his tone, he's a down-to-earth man.

After becoming involved with Azusa during an incident involving the "Nutritional Liquor" drug created by Harukara, she began to visit Azusa's house whenever she could. She is a friend to Azusa and a "big sister" figure she can rely on when she's in trouble. While her combat abilities aren't as impressive as Azusa's (though she is still one of the most powerful characters), she has helped Azusa many times by utilizing her connections as Minister of Agriculture, her knowledge of the demon race, and her demon-specific magic.

She also has a love for children, eagerly plotting to adopt Falfa and Shalsha. When she tries to win them over with gifts or other favors, Azusa always stops her. Furthermore, when Azusa eats a poisonous mushroom and turns into a little girl, she lovingly exclaims, "This is heaven!"

Her past is told in a spin-off novel, titled "After 1500 Years as a Low-Level Civil Servant, the Demon King's Power Made Me a Minister." As some may have noticed from the title, Beelzebub was not originally an elite.

True Identity

In the main story, she calls herself the "Lord of the Flies," but "Belzebub, the Lord of the Flies" was actually a great demon from the distant past. Her true identity was a commoner from a local greengrocer's shop who happened to have the same name as the "Lord of the Flies." (In the main story, she calls herself a "higher demon," but given her origins, it's believed she was actually a lower-ranking demon.)

Past Lifestyle

Hundreds of years before the main story, Beelzebub worked as a low-ranking official in a subordinate organization of the Ministry of Agriculture for 1,500 years. That said, her grades and attitude weren't bad; in fact, she was excellent. However, she was a low-ranking official with no responsibilities, and she repeatedly refused appointments, making up excuses in order to spend her private time lazing around. Furthermore, to avoid drawing attention, she wore unfashionable clothes and fake glasses. She also spoke in a very ordinary manner, always using the first-person pronoun "I." Everything about her life was completely different from her current one.

One day, the coronation ceremony for the new Demon Lord, Provato Pecola Aries, was held, and the new cabinet appointments were announced. She was almost forcefully appointed Minister of Agriculture, with the words, "If you had been promoted based on your performance, you would have been a minister by now." Naturally, she tried to refuse, citing "there's no precedent" and "it's customary for ministers to be nobles," but Pecola persuaded her, and she was given a noble position and a mansion, leaving her unable to refuse.

Many Unknown Efforts

The first thing she did upon becoming Minister of Agriculture was to move into a mansion and change her character, since her current plain personality would surely make people look down on her. In other words, her current tone of voice and appearance were all an afterthought (though they're now completely natural). Even after that, she continued to work hard and train independently, knowing that "if I make a mistake and fall from grace, it will cause trouble for the Demon Lord who appointed me," and gradually gained the respect of those around her.

A Big Anime Fan

An anime fan, she enjoys science fiction works such as the Gundam series, "Legend of the Galactic Heroes," and "Ghost in the Shell." Her favorite mobile suit is the Qubeley. She also named her small teddy bear "Reinhard" after a character from "Legend of the Galactic Heroes," doting on it and sleeping with it. She is also interested in traditional Japanese temples, shrines, and castles, and has even stated that she is a "temple-loving" person. She became addicted to "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" after borrowing each chapter from her senior and co-star, Asami Imai.

What's the secret to its popularity?!

The light novel version is written by Kisetsu Morita, whose numerous hit works include "My Physically Isolated High School Life," and the character designs are by popular illustrator Benio. Furthermore, the comic version is by Yusuke Shiba, a manga artist known for his soft, gentle drawings and popular masterpieces such as "Witches Are Scared of Schools."

Summary

"300 Years of Killing Slimes" features a cast of cute girls. With plenty of yuri-esque scenes featuring girls squealing with delight and a touch of gentleness, this is a recommended work for anyone seeking a relaxing experience.
