The second season of the anime "World Trigger" will begin airing in January 2021, and the cast for the new characters has been revealed. Today, we'd like to introduce the voice actors who will be voicing the already-announced Galopula Expeditionary Force!
Galopula Expeditionary Force Captain "Gatlin" Voiced by Hiroshi Egawa
Galopula Expeditionary Force Captain Gatlin is voiced by Hiroshi Egawa. He is a veteran voice actor affiliated with Aoni Production. He is known for his distinctive, mellow, old-man voice, and has played a wide range of characters, from villains to dashing older men.
History: Hiroshi Egawa's Role as Ukai Keishin in Haikyu!!
He plays Ukai Keishin, the coach of Karasuno High School, in Haikyu!!, another series serialized in Jump. At first glance, he appears flashy and intimidating, but after repeated persuasion from Takeda, an alumnus of the Karasuno volleyball team and the club's advisor, he is initially reluctant, but is inspired by the team members' talent and potential, and ends up taking on the role. He is actually the second voice actor to play the character, taking over midway through the third season following the sudden death of the original voice actor, Kazunari Tanaka.
This is the character Gatlin, played by Hiroshi Egawa
He's the commander of the expeditionary force of Galopula, a vassal state of Aftokrator. The reason for the attack on Genkai is power harassment from Aftokrator. Aftokrator is currently in the midst of internal conflict, and since it would be extremely inconvenient for Genkai people to visit now, they request that their vassal state, Galopula, hold them back. Due to their low status, Galopula cannot resist the power harassment and accepts the request. However, if they act too forcefully, the hatred of Genkai's forces will be directed towards Galopula, so they must skillfully manage this situation. Galopula is a middle manager with a wife and children, and is in a sad position where he must skillfully manage this. He is highly skilled and fights using his special trigger, "Executioner (Basilissa)."
Galopula Expeditionary Force Vice Commander "Koskero" Voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda
Koskero, the vice commander of the Galopula Expeditionary Force, is played by Kenjiro Tsuda. A voice actor affiliated with the talent agency Amuse, he has a wide range of talent, including playing deep-voiced handsome characters, older men, and transvestite characters, as well as being active as an actor.
Kenjiro Tsuda's Representative Work: Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters: Seto Kaiba
Seto Kaiba is the rival character of the main character Yugi Muto in the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series. Initially, he had a gloomy personality, but due to a change in the series' direction, he became deeply involved in the story. His strong character and acting skills attracted attention, making him one of the most popular characters in the Yu-Gi-Oh! series. His favorite card is Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Despite being an orphan, he's a hard-working, self-made soldier who worked his way up through odd jobs and apprenticeships to his current position. However, Galopula has become a vassal state of Aftokrator, and now he's tasked with carrying out missions that harass his subordinates. His struggles are likely to continue. His trigger is "Nikokira (Black Wall)."
Galopula Expeditionary Force Member "Wen So" Voiced by Mie Sonozaki
Wen So, the only female member of the Galopula Expeditionary Force, is played by Mie Sonozaki. In addition to her voice acting career, she also works as a singer and narrator, playing a wide range of roles, from young girls and boys to young women and old ladies. She currently has a business partnership with Remax. She also provides the voice for the in-store announcements and ticket machines at the beef bowl chain Matsuya, so if you've ever been to Matsuya, you've definitely heard her.
Mie Sonozaki's most famous role: Gertrud Barkhorn in Strike Witches
A veteran witch in Strike Witches. She has a calm, cool-headed personality and is a true soldier, but as the story progresses, she begins to show her doting side and is treated like an older sister.
Wen So, played by Mie Sonozaki: This is the character
She is the only female member of the Galopula Expeditionary Force, a calm, elite soldier. In the story, she supports the assault team and is responsible for holding them back inside the base. He specializes in combat, using tricky methods such as distraction, clones, and smoke screens to confuse his opponents. He's a cool, elite soldier, but apparently likes honey and oranges.

Galopula Expeditionary Force Member Ratarikov is played by Toshiyuki Toyonaga. He's a voice actor affiliated with the Super Eccentric Theater, and is also active as an actor and singer-songwriter.
Toyonaga Toshiyuki's most famous work: Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai 2020, as "Pop"
Toyonaga plays the supporting protagonist, Pop, in the currently airing anime series "Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai." Pop is the other main character in the series, and while he starts out as a weak magician, he eventually matures into a great magician on par with the protagonist. He has also appeared in other Jump anime series, including The Prince of Tennis and Katekyo Hitman Reborn!!
What is the character of Rattlikov, played by Toshiyuki Toyonaga?
A young, sporty-haired member of the Galopula Expeditionary Force. A promising young man, he is part of the assault team and is tasked with destroying the expedition craft alongside Gatlin. He is a capable young man who performs his duties calmly and collectedly, using a trigger called "Dancer (Despinis)." He has a polite personality, but seems to think Kazama is younger than him. It's been suggested that he may reappear at some point in the future and play an important role.
Galopula Expeditionary Force Member "Regindetz" Voiced by Ayumu Murase
Regindetz, a young bob-haired member of the expedition, is played by Ayumu Murase. A voice actor affiliated with VIMS, he is known for his medieval-sounding voice, which makes the most of his natural high-pitched voice and is well-known for his roles ranging from boy roles to shota roles. Apparently, not only his voice quality but also his real-life appearance is so similar that he's mistaken for a woman.
Murase Ayumu's Most Recognized Work: "Haikyu!!" Role: "Hinata Shoyo"
The protagonist of the volleyball manga "Haikyu!!," serialized in Jump Magazine. Despite his short stature, he possesses exceptional athletic ability and springiness, and is passionate about volleyball. In middle school, he was captain of a weak team and had to rely on help from other clubs to play. In his final middle school tournament, he suffered a crushing defeat against Kitagawa Daiichi, led by Kageyama Tobio, known as the "King of the Court." Hinata vows to get revenge on Kageyama in high school, but for some reason, Kageyama also enrolls at the prestigious Karasuno High School. About the Regindettes, played by Ayumu Murase
A young member of the Galopula expeditionary force, he is still immature among his teammates, a character with promising future potential. During the assault, he is in charge of diversionary tactics outside the base, leading the Trion soldiers to buy time. While not incompetent, Regindettes pretends to attack the city after the Trion soldiers melt rapidly, but his precognitive side effect prevents any potential problems and he is ignored. Later, Regindettes plays a key role in the story.
Yomi, a member of the Galo Pla Expeditionary Force, voiced by Ryoko Shiraishi
Yomi, the youngest engineer on the Galo Pla Expeditionary Force, is played by Ryoko Shiraishi. A voice actress affiliated with Aoni Production, she has appeared in numerous anime and has also done voiceover work for numerous foreign films.
Ryoko Shiraishi's most famous role: Hayate the Combat Butler, as Hayate Ayasaki
She is best known for her role as Hayate the Combat Butler, the protagonist of Hayate the Combat Butler, the unfortunate young butler. The story follows Hayate, a boy who is forced to pay his parents' debts and is nearly sold to the yakuza, but somehow ends up becoming a butler for a wealthy young lady. She has also appeared in numerous Jump series, including Gintama, Sket Dance, Bleach, Boruto, and Demon Slayer.
Yomi, played by Ryoko Shiraishi, is this character
Yomi is the youngest member of the expeditionary force and a genius engineer. The unique piloting system for Trion soldiers created by Yomi allows for extremely precise remote control, and her side effect of completely simultaneous parallel thinking allows her to perfectly control two Idols. Instead of being on the front lines, she participates in operations by operating the assault forces and remotely controlling the Idols.
