9th Place: Rune Vanquish
A member of the Royal Guard of the Kingdom of Soleil, Rune is Uni's twin brother and pilots a Squire. He always supports Uni, who can easily get impatient, and Uni trusts him. Of course, he's also a skilled pilot, and Rune's Theurgia is equipped with the new Klarus.
8th Place: Huey Malthus
A member of the Bürger Squad, he shares the same rank as Stella: Petty Officer First Class. He's a pilot who excels at marksmanship. He seems to have known Stella and Lily for a long time, and they often exchange silly jokes. He has a cynical side and often makes sarcastic remarks about things. While he often says cold-hearted things, he seems to harbor sad feelings about war.
7th Place: Blake Boyer
A member of the Bürger Squad, he holds the rank of First Sergeant. He has a laid-back personality and can liven up the mood with dark humor, such as making his teammates laugh by insulting their commander. However, as everyone's senior, he remains calm and collected even on the battlefield. He has a striking afro-like hairstyle.
6th Place: Joshua Ingram
Yuuki's childhood friend and a member of the Royal Guard. Although he was still new to the knighthood, he was skilled in piloting the Guard mech and was highly respected by those around him. Even when he was nearly overwhelmed by the atmosphere of the battlefield, he bravely fought. His strong desire to protect Yuuki's smile led him to fight with all his might, but he lost his life during the defense of Grad. It's a shame, considering he was a knight with both talent and determination. He was a passionate man whose catchphrase was, "Spirit and guts!"
5th Place: Yuni Vanquish
A knight of the Kingdom of Soleil, Rene's twin sister, she hails from the frontier. She pilots a Gard machine equipped with a new Klarus. She has an excellent sense of combat, but she easily gets impatient and is reckless. Her younger brother Rene supports her. She has a strong desire to protect the kingdom, as evidenced by her willingness to go to battle even when injured.
4th Place: Stella Shining
One of the two heroines in "Egao no Daika," she is a soldier of the Grandiga Empire. While she expresses little emotion, she remains calm and collected. She possesses high combat abilities and is an excellent Theurgia pilot! Even Gale, the commander of the Bürger Squad, trusts her when it comes to completing her missions.
3rd Place: Gale Owens
The commander of the Bürger squad, Gale actually runs an orphanage. He holds the rank of special second lieutenant, and his skills make many people wonder why he became the commander of such a squad. He has a kind side, such as when he goes off on his own to help war orphans during missions, but unfortunately, he hides this from his fellow squad members, which makes him less trustworthy.
Second Place: Harold Miller
Captain of the Royal Guard of the Kingdom of Soleil. While he normally avoids the battlefield as a commander, he personally piloted his Theurgia into battle during the final defense of the royal capital, Hariant. As a commander, he always remains calm and makes sound decisions, and his movements while piloting his Theurgia are overwhelming. His wife was killed by Imperial soldiers 12 years ago, and his resentment toward the Empire is even stronger than most, which is another reason for his strength.
No. 1: Mysterious Pilot
No. 1 is a mysterious pilot? Many of you may be wondering. However, there was a single Gard unit that completely wiped out Stella's platoon, and its pilot remains a mystery... While I believe this character has already appeared, I've decided to call him a "mysterious pilot" since he's still a mystery for now! His abilities are undeniably the strongest among the characters currently appearing!
Strength Ranking Summary!
I've compiled this ranking based on my own personal opinions and biases. What do you think? Since it's an original anime, the rankings may change depending on the episodes that haven't aired yet, but I think this is what it looks like so far! I wonder who the number one pilot is... I'm guessing it could be Joshua, who was thought to be dead... but we'll see! We still can't take our eyes off "Egao no Daika"!
