Egao no Daika is the story of two girls born on the same planet, but burdened with completely different destinies. One is Princess Yuki Soleil, who never lets her smile fade and wishes to make everyone smile. The other is Stella Shining, a soldier who protects herself with a fake smile. In this article, we'll introduce you to one of the two heroines, Stella Shining!

Stella is always calm and performs her duties with aplomb. She is an excellent soldier. However, she also seems somewhat lacking in emotion. Of course, Gale, the commander of Stella's platoon, also seems to trust her, but he seems to have doubts about Stella's attitude towards war, and when Stella said, "I'll fight forever," he replied, "You're crazy."
And even to a young girl...

Stella and her friends target a new type of Klarus in a remote town in the Soleil Kingdom. There, Stella meets children who lost their parents in the war. Stella tells a girl who is alone from the group of children, "Even if you don't have a place to go now, it's okay. You'll find one someday." Perhaps she was seeing herself in the past...it was the first time we saw a more human side of Stella.
However, once the operation began, Stella told the children that she would kill them one by one if they didn't listen to her orders, and with a cold expression, she pointed her gun at the girl who had been kind to her earlier. Even when she saw the girl leave with a look of betrayal on her face, Stella didn't seem to be affected at all. What could have happened in Stella's past to have caused her to be so devoid of emotion?
Always smiling! However...

Stella always smiles at others. However, she doesn't always smile when she's talking, and it seems like she's only smiling to hide her true feelings. She joined the military to survive, and now seems to feel at home in her platoon, but her heart seems to harbor a deep darkness.
Is her mother Layla?

In episode 4, we learn that Yuuki's mentor, Reira, originally belonged to the Grandiga Empire. She was involved in an accident with her husband and child, and although she was seriously injured, she survived. However, when she woke up, she found that her entire family had died. Princess Yuki took a liking to her, and she began serving the Soleil Kingdom.
Stella's Goldfish Bowl.

The round goldfish bowl Stella held was exactly the same as the one held by her daughter in Layla's past scene. While this has not been made public, it is highly likely that Stella is the daughter Layla believed to be dead. If Layla, who now acts like a mother to Yuuki, was Stella's mother, this could be the catalyst that connects the two.
Also, while it's far less plausible than the fishbowl theory, Stella and Layla both have teardrop moles in the same place, so it's hard not to think, "This is..." lol
Stella's past.

Stella finds herself in a desperate situation. In a scene where she flashes back to her past, we briefly see a glimpse of her childhood, eating alone, away from what appears to be her family. Perhaps Stella couldn't fit in with her foster family and joined the military to survive on her own.
Her relationship with Lily.
Stella met Lily soon after joining the military, and they spent a long time together. Stella also saved Lily when she was nearly killed by the enemy. When Stella confirmed that Lily was alive, she smiled from the bottom of her heart. From that moment on, Lily began to think of Stella as someone special, and it seems that Stella also thinks of Lily as the only person special to her. And this time, it was Lily who rushed to Stella's rescue!
Stella Summary!

At first, he seemed like a cold-hearted soldier whose thoughts were hard to discern, but as his past is revealed, the mystery is gradually unravelling. Going forward, it seems likely that Stella's mother, Layla, will help bring them closer to Yuuki, but the story of Egao no Daika is unpredictable. I can't wait to see when Stella can smile from the bottom of her heart again!
