The character designs are very cute, as they're done by women. However, the content is typical of DEVILMAN, with its erotic and grotesque feel. If you're going to watch it, I recommend watching it alone (lol).

Top 8 is the wildly popular four-panel manga "Pop Team Epic"! It's hilarious, isn't it? The anime is known for having different voice actors each time, which is another reason for its immense popularity. Also, the voice actors are not just female, but male as well, which makes the contrast quite hilarious. And because it features some of the most famous voice actors, it's different from your usual image! The content is also outlandish and addictive.

The wildly popular "Touken Ranbu," which has even made it into 2.5D and movies, makes it into the top 7! I was quite surprised to see it perform at the Kohaku Uta Gassen, but it actually originated as a game. It's no exaggeration to say it pioneered the so-called anthropomorphization boom. It's a fun, funny, and heartwarming story about the succession of a candy store near the seaside. Hotaru, pictured on the cover, is the daughter of a company president and a candy enthusiast. She's very beautiful and glamorous, but when it comes to candy, she gets super excited and changes her character, which is adorable! It also features real-life candy and current events, making it a fun read!

This is also so popular it needs no introduction, and the top 5 is "Teasing Master Takagi-san." Both Takagi-san and Nishikata are just too adorable! This romantic comedy will have you grinning from ear to ear. It depicts the daily life of Takagi-san, who teases Nishikata. Nishikata falls for Takagi-san's pranks, and Nishikata's constant embarrassment are all innocent and sweet. This is a must-watch! Since Netflix has a monopoly on the series in winter 2018, it might be a good opportunity to sign up.

It follows the adventures of a unique cast, including the usually airheaded leader Meliodas (the blonde boy in the middle). It's guaranteed to get you on the edge of your seat!

This is the "Fate" series, an anime adaptation of the original game. It incorporates plenty of original content. Fate is also broadcast exclusively on Netflix. They seem to have a monopoly on all popular anime. I feel like I have no choice but to subscribe (lol)

Top 2 is "Overlord 2," originally a light novel. It's been adapted into a manga and a movie, and the anime has completed its third season. It's truly fascinating. I've had enough of reincarnation stories, but Overlord's excitement and the protagonist's absolute presence make it a never-ending story! The anime has three seasons, but you can watch it all in one go, so it's not too late to start now.
[Netflix] Top 1 in Winter 2018 Anime Rankings: Violet Evergarden
Topping the list is "Violet Evergarden," an anime adaptation of a light novel! As you might guess from the illustrations, it's produced by Kyoto Animation, and the main character is incredibly cute. The character design is also handled by a promising young animator. Another great thing about Kyoto Animation is the incredibly delicate drawings! While it's slightly different from the original, it's a work that lets you enjoy Violet's struggles and confusion after the war, as well as her growth and emotional changes. It's a rare masterpiece that leaves you immersed in each episode! And it's a Netflix exclusive.
