Tiger & Bunny Season 2, which was released exclusively on Netflix, was a very exciting series with a new hero and Golden Ryan becoming a regular. The second half of Tiger & Bunny Season 2 will be released soon, so I would like to look back on the contents of Episodes 7 to 13 of Season 2!
Season 2 Episode 7 Out of the mouths of babes oft times come gems.
Tiger is invited out for drinks by Barnaby, which is very unusual, but he forgets his wallet and goes to his house to get it. However, something has broken into Tiger's house! ? But it turned out to be my daughter Kaede and her friend. It seems that she had come here secretly for work experience. However, working as a hero was not an easy task. However, Kaede had another purpose, and it seemed that she wanted to become a hero. So she wanted to visit the hero school that Barnaby and Origami attended. When Kotetsu found out, he had mixed feelings. After all, being a hero is a dangerous job.
Episode 7②
Kaede's NEXT is a very peaky ability called copying, and it seems that there is also a restriction that once copied, the ability cannot be used again. Maybe he'll appear as a hero in the future? Mattia, Barnaby's childhood friend, was researching a new drug that turns normal people into NEXTs. Mattia has a noble ambition, but there's something ominous about him... Also, Uncle Muramasa, who was supposed to be single, got married and is now the father of two children + one. It's shocking that he married a single mother! His wife looks beautiful and young.
Season 2 Episode 8 You can't judge a book by its cover. You can't judge the contents by appearance alone
Heis Thomas, a rookie but highly skilled, is suspended after using excessive violence against the perpetrator in a certain incident. He is cool, stoic and handsome, and somewhat overlaps with the early Barnaby, but unlike Barnaby, he has not been on the elite road. He was born in an orphanage and was a hard worker who seized the position of hero through tireless efforts, even though he was separated from his only family, his sister.
Episode 8②
Hees Thomas did not trust anyone, neither his enemies nor his allies. This was due to his past experiences of being betrayed, but he learned the warmth of people after being treated by a couple he met by chance. But then he realized that the couple were nasty villains, and all of this was just an act to push his criminal acts onto him. Thomas, who believed in him but was betrayed, shows his back with a melancholy look on his face, saying that he doesn't trust anyone anymore. The boss characters from the first half, Fugan and Mugan, also make their full appearance. They're dangerous!
Season 2 Episode 9 Have not thy cloak to make when it begins to rain. Don't make me make a raincoat when it starts to rain.
While pursuing Vincent Carl, the NEXT criminal who turns anything he touches into a bomb, Barnaby is injured and falls into a coma. Kotetsu feels responsible as he doesn't know when Barnaby will wake up. One of the reasons Barnaby was injured was because his own decline in ability was putting a strain on Barnaby. Kotetsu behaved as usual, but behind the scenes he was searching for the culprit on his own.
Episode 9②
Mattia was hospitalized after testing a new drug he had developed on himself. However, there were no results and the sponsor withdrew... However, by chance it was discovered that the new drug was not a drug that turned non-NEXTs into NEXTs, but rather a drug that strengthened NEXTs' abilities to the point of going out of control. Unbeknownst to Mattia, the new drug went into even more sinister territory. But maybe this could be a new drug for Tiger, whose abilities have been weakened.
And the boss characters from the first half, Fugan and Mugan, have also begun to act in earnest.
Season 2 Episode 10 Pride comes before a fall. Pride comes before destruction
Hero hunters Fugan and Mugan finally take action. Sky High and Fire Emblem, attacked by the two, stop their activities and are found in a rigid state. Unable to grasp the twins' abilities, the twins sneak into the heroes' headquarters. The twins' abilities seem to be extremely stealthy, and even with 24-hour security, they were unable to grab their tails.
Episode 10②
Meanwhile, the twins' next targets are Dragon Kid and Origami Cyclone. The two fight bravely and manage to capture them for a time, but it was all an act to show the other heroes their faces, and Dragon Kid and Origami Cyclone were taken away somewhere. At this point, we don't know what the twins' abilities are. However, one of them has a warp-like ability. Is it a teleporter-like ability?
Season 2 Episode 11 Every cloud has a silver lining.
Even Dragon Kid and Origami Cyclone are found frozen, and the new heroes feel anxious in the situation where they don't know when they will be attacked, but veteran Rock Bison encourages and leads everyone.
Meanwhile, Fugan and Mugan attack. Since they cannot grasp the full extent of the enemy's abilities, the heroes are cornered. Meanwhile, Rock Bison lets the new heroes escape. Rock Bison, who was the loser in season 1, looks cool! Is there something different about Rock Bison this season?
Episode 11②
Blue Rose and Golden Ryan are as expected, and even though they are cornered, they fight back and force the twins to retreat. However, the twins, who have become stronger with Mattia's new drug, easily defeat Blue Rose, Golden Ryan, and Rock Bison. The uncle who is the guardian of the twins seems to be a spy belonging to the Ouroboros organization, but he thinks of the twins as his real sons and does not seem to be happy about making them fight heroes or using them as test subjects for new drugs.
Season 2 Episode 12 Man's extremity is God's opportunity. Man's difficulties are God's opportunities.
As the heroes are killed one after another, an unconscious Barnaby is revived. Still, Tiger & Barnaby and the new heroes are in a tight spot and set out to attack Hughan and Mugan. Fortunately, it turns out that Hughan and Mugan have the ability to absorb and release shock and warp. What's more, they have the advantage that the twins don't know that Barnaby has been revived. But Barnaby's revival is easily discovered.
Episode 12②
The heroes are suddenly on the brink, but Tiger and Black get into an argument, and Black provokes the twins and you think he's going to go ahead on his own, but it turns out that it was a prearranged act, and Black knows that if he puts up a barrier, the twins will come after him, so he aims for that, and for the time being, his aim works. However, the new heroes' lack of experience means they miss this golden opportunity. Tiger is really leading the others.
Season 2 Episode 13 Constant dropping wears away a stone.Drips wear away a stone
Tiger falls, and the newcomers are also in tatters. Meanwhile, Barnaby launches a bold attack, but all of his attacks are blocked and he receives a painful counterattack. However, Fugan's body, which has continued to do reckless things with the boost from the drugs, is already reaching its limit. Even though both are in a tattered state, Cat, who has not been able to use her abilities properly up to this point, overcomes her fear to protect her friends and blows away Fugan and Mugan. The attack left Mugan unable to recover, and Tiger, Barnaby, and Thomas worked together to defeat the remaining Fugan. The heroes thus secured victory, but something terrible was happening in another place.
Episode 13②
Gregory Sunshine escapes from the new drug testing site with the new drug and heavy weapons. Uncle Nikolai, who had been hoping for the twins' safety, and the twins who had warped in with their last bit of strength, are mercilessly shot dead by Gregory. Uncle Nikolai, who seemed to be the mastermind, was a good father who could not go against the will of the organization. And the series ended with Gregory's escape, which is a new spark. Gregory actually has a connection with Ryan, so I wonder what will happen next?
【TIGER&BUNNY2】Review of Season 2 Part 1
I looked back on episodes 7 to 13 of Season 2 Part 1! It was a new series after 10 years, but it was consistently interesting. The series ended in a way that left me wondering about the content of Part 2. It was undoubtedly interesting, but since it was a limited distribution format and not broadcast on terrestrial TV, it lacked excitement. I hope it will be broadcast on terrestrial TV if possible!
