TIGER & BUNNY, which was broadcast in 2011 and has now started a new series after 10 years, will feature new characters, including a new hero, in the story after the hero returns to his role at the end of the first season and reunites with Barnaby in the movie. This time, we will introduce the new characters that appeared in the second season PART 1, which was distributed as of August 2022!
New Character No. 1 Ryan Goldsmith / Golden Ryan
This is not a new character from the second season... but a new hero who appeared in the movie version of The Rising. In The Rising, he will be Barnaby's new partner, who has been promoted to a hero. He was originally only a guest character in the movie, and because he had an egocentric personality and abilities, there was always the worry that he might betray the others or turn out to be a villain, but that wasn't actually the case at all. In the end, his pairing with Barnaby only happened in the movie, and he continued to be a hero elsewhere after that, but at the start of the second season he returns as the hero of Sternbild. The game adopts a buddy system where all heroes team up, and in the second season he ends up pairing up with Blue Rose. His catchphrase is The Wandering Prince of Gravity.
New character No. 2 Subaru Sengoku / Mr. Black
A new hero who will appear in the second season. His NEXT ability is to create a barrier, giving him high defensive performance. However, he is dissatisfied with the policy of his agency to support his more capable partner, Heise Thomas, and he often makes mistakes by acting on his own in a hurry to achieve success. As a result, he is always at the bottom of the popularity rankings. For better or worse, he has a straightforward personality and strong beliefs as a hero. However, perhaps because he rushes ahead on the path he believes in, he sometimes doesn't listen to what others say. It's as if we're seeing the early appearance of Wild Tiger, who has now become a good senior hero. The catchphrase is a man dressed in black.
New character 3: Thomas Taurus / Heis Thomas
A hero who teams up with Mr. Black. His NEXT ability is psychokinesis, which allows him to move anything remotely, but he cannot move anything he cannot hold. He has a cool and stoic personality, yet he has high hero skills and is popular with women, reminiscent of Barnaby from the first season. However, in reality, she was raised in an orphanage and has struggled to become a hero through extraordinary efforts. Due to past experiences, she has built a wall between herself and others and has maintained a stance of not trusting anyone, but a certain episode has changed her mindset? Her catchphrase is "She who is clad in white light."
New character #4 Lara Chaikoskaya / Magical Cat
A hero who will appear from the second season. A beautiful lolita hero with a taste similar to Video Girl Ai, her NEXT ability is to control water. At the start of the second season, she teams up with Dragon Kid. Although she has a kind and honest personality, her mother is a so-called toxic parent, and she tried to imprint on her the belief that Dragon Kid was trying to take away her opportunities to shine and kick her down. In fact, there were many scenes in the story where Dragon Kid appeared before her, but this was because she realized that Magical Cat's NEXT was a skill that was greatly influenced by her mental state, and she was trying to get her used to the field little by little.
New character No. 5: Mattia Ingram
A childhood friend who lived across the street from Barnaby. Although he continued to support Barnaby as a childhood friend, he thought that Barnaby would not remember him. However, after a reunion at an event, he remembered him and they began to frequently contact each other and enjoy meals together. He was developing a new drug, but the results were not forthcoming, and the sponsor threatened to withdraw, so he did dangerous things such as using his own body for experiments. As a result, he was forced to be hospitalized, but during his hospitalization, the new drug produced great results and an incident.
New Character No. 6: Fugan/Mugan
A member of Ouroboros, the twin NEXT ability user. The boss character in PART 1. He admires L.L. Ordun, a person with special abilities who illegally worked as a hero, and begins hunting heroes in various places in order to surpass Ordun's feat of defeating 17 heroes. He has a cheerful, childlike personality, but is cruel and has very powerful abilities. Hughan's ability is to "absorb, accumulate, and bounce back the damage he receives," while Mughan's ability is "warp." He trusts his guardian, Nikolai, and his principle of action seems to be to act for him.
New Character No. 7 Nikolai Brahe
A member of Ouroboros who acts with Hughan and Mughan. He supports Fugan and Mugan in their hero hunt due to the wishes of the higher-ups in the organization, but he cares for them like his own sons and does not want them to be used as test subjects for dangerous new drugs or to fight heroes. When he sees the twins fighting the heroes, he prays for their safety. He also seems to be a NEXT ability user, and it was his ability that caused the heroes attacked by the twins to freeze and stop.
New Character No. 8 Gregory Sunshine
A NEXT criminal who lets his NEXT ability go out of control. He was arrested after causing Golden Ryan's powers to go out of control, but with the help of Ouroboros, he becomes a test subject for a new drug created by Mattia. However, at the end of Part 1, he causes a serious incident.
