Chikusei-so (commonly known as Aotake) is a rundown apartment building. Living in Room 202 is Yohei Sakaguchi (King), a fourth-year student in the Department of Sociology. He is a former member of the soccer club. He loves quiz shows and is very knowledgeable. He calls himself the quiz king, which is why he got the nickname "King." In the manga version, he is said to be from the Kansai region, and is known for speaking in a Kansai dialect.

Does he get angry easily?

Yohei Sakaguchi (King) seems to get angry easily and easily raise his voice. When the members of Aotake decided to go running for the first time, Kurahara Kakeru said it would be impossible for the Aotake members, who couldn't even live a normal life, to aim for the Hakone Ekiden, to which King retorted, "You know, we can't make a living from track and field like you can!!" When Kakeru responded, "Then make a living from track and field," King replied with burning fighting spirit, "Ugh, having the blood rushing to my head this morning has cured my low blood pressure!!!"

He's also easily swayed

Yohei Sakaguchi (King), who has a tendency to have extreme emotional ups and downs, seems to be the type who is easily swayed. When it came time to measure the 5000m, the Chikuseisou team members showed no enthusiasm at all. Kakeru Kurahara raised his voice and shouted, "Make up your mind whether you're going to do it or not!!" To which, reluctantly, he blurted out, "Are you going to do it?"

Are you the type who doesn't think ahead?

When Kakeru Kurahara (Kakeru) expressed his disapproval of aiming for the Hakone Ekiden, Yohei Sakaguchi (King) cheerfully replied, "Come on, come on. Why don't we just give Heidi a little help here?" However, King is already in his fourth year, and when Iwakura Yukihiko (Yuki), who has already passed the bar exam, points out the importance of finding a job, he seems irritated, saying, "Don't be so nosy, you Tokyo guy!!" He doesn't seem like the type to think too far ahead.

King's voice actor in the anime version is Chikara Kitazawa.
