The anime "Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru," which began airing in the fall of 2018, is set around the Hakone Ekiden marathon. It is based on the novel of the same name by Shion Miura. It has also been adapted into a manga by Sorata Unno, with a total of six volumes published. It has also become so popular that it has been adapted into a movie, a stage play, and a radio drama. In this article, we will introduce a character from "Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru," based mainly on the manga, named Kiyose Haiji (Heidi), the 10th section runner.
Heidi is the Demon of Aotake
Haiji Kiyose (Heidi) was gathering members of the Aotake brewery for the Hakone Ekiden. Finally, she found the 10th member, Kakeru Kurahara, and immediately told the Aotake members that they were aiming for the Hakone Ekiden, but not a single one agreed. So, Heidi, using the fact that she had lent them money and was in charge of everything at Aotake as an excuse, slowly cornered the members like a demon. Their appearance is just like that of a demon, and it seems the residents of Aotake call them demons, just as they look. What's more, they let them move in without telling them that Aotake is a training center for the track and field club, and once all 10 of them are together, they suddenly show their demonic nature by announcing that they are aiming to run in the Hakone Ekiden.
Heidi: A Very Hot Guy
Kiyose Haiji (Heidi), who fell in love with Kakeru's running when he saw Kakeru shoplifting and was running away, learned that Kakeru was attending Kansei University and seemed convinced that he was the last person he needed to aim for the Hakone Ekiden. However, since they had only just met, Kakeru asked Heidi if he could be trusted. Heidi responds, "Trust? Of course not," and Kakeru almost loses his temper. But Heidi continues, "We've only just met!!" and loudly proclaims, "All I know is you, the person I just met! Your current running! That running... I believe in you!!!" He's a passionate person, capable of delivering such passionate lines to someone they've just met.
