The anime "Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru," which began airing in the fall of 2018, is set in the Hakone Ekiden marathon. It's based on the novel of the same name by Shion Miura. It was previously adapted into a manga by Sorata Umino, totaling six volumes. Its popularity has also led to film, stage, and radio drama adaptations. This time, we'll be introducing Musa Kamara, a character from "Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru," who runs the second leg of the race, based primarily on the manga.

A rundown apartment building called Takeo-so (commonly known as Aotake). Living in Room 203 is Musa Kamara, a second-year student in the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Originally from Tanzania, he's apparently intelligent enough to be a government-sponsored international student. He's also apparently wealthy enough in Kenya to commute to school in a shuttle bus. Musa is also fluent in Japanese and speaks fluently and politely. He's easily moved by passionate words, and when Shindou agrees to run in the Hakone Ekiden after Heidi asks him for a favor, Musa agrees to join her.

Heidi challenged Kakeru to a 5000m race, promising to aim for the Hakone Ekiden together if she won. Kakeru won, and the Aotake members were beginning to feel like giving up on the Hakone Ekiden. At that moment, Jota and George say they wanted to run like Heidi and Kakeru, and ask, "Doesn't everyone feel the same way?" Musa replies with a happy expression that he really enjoys running with everyone, and that this is the first time everyone at Aotake has done something together. This scene shows how much Musa loves his friends.

While participating in a track meet hosted by Tokyo University of Health and Sport Sciences, Kakeru Kurahara (Kakeru) was trying to stay out of sight, not wanting to run into anyone he knew from high school. However, he encountered the person he least wanted to meet: Kosuke Sakaki. When Sakaki asks Kakeru why he's there, he replies that he's going to a race. However, Kakeru had an incident in high school that caused him to quit the club, and the remaining members were forced to refrain from activities until graduation. Sakaki, who is not convinced that Kakeru has returned despite this, says meaningfully to the members of Aotake, "He's the kind of guy who betrays people easily." There is a murmur around them, and just as the Aotake members are about to begin to distrust Kakeru, Musa Kamara covers her ears and says, "I'm not interested!!" She then replies, "I don't know about your past, but after spending two weeks with you, I don't think you're a bad person!" Thanks to Musa's kindness, the team's unity remains intact.
Musa's voice actor in the anime version is Hideaki Kabumoto.
