"Tada-kun Never Falls in Love," or "Tada Ren" for short, is an original anime produced by Doga Kobo, a slapstick romantic comedy that has been airing since spring 2018. Today, we'll be sharing 10 carefully selected charms of this much-talked-about character!
A Brief Summary
"I'll Never Forget This Love"
Tada Mitsuyoshi, whose hobby is photography, was photographing the cherry blossoms blooming around the castle when a foreign girl appeared in his viewfinder. Tada's encounter with the foreign girl, Teresa, marked the beginning of a new, lively yet fun life.
Charm #1: Story Setting
While the love story that begins with an encounter that seems like it could actually happen in real life is a bit conventional, I still find it appealing. The series' highlights are the feelings he gradually realizes, the conflict he feels about it, and the occasional sadness he shows.
Charm #2: Characters
Each character in the series has their own unique personality, but there are also many cool and cute characters, and they all have very kind personalities, making them very comforting and soothing to watch. Even though there are some slightly eccentric characters, the lack of any bad characters is what makes the series so appealing.
Charm #3: Scenery
The animation is incredibly detailed. Scenes like the cherry blossoms in full bloom in episode 1 and the park scene are likely based on real locations, but they're so beautifully recreated that they're burned into my memory and left a lasting impression. I also love the sparkly effects that pop up from time to time. (lol)
Charm #4: Thrill
Of course, there's a main character pairing, but each character pairing has its own, and while it doesn't progress quickly, watching them slowly grow closer is truly heart-pounding. The catchphrase is "I'll never forget this love."
Charm #5: Lots of laughs
When I watched the first episode, I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it would be a serious romance story, but I found myself laughing multiple times. The comedy is so well-placed that it's a very enjoyable watch.
Charm No. 6: Voice Actors
What's great about this series is that it features a stellar cast that any anime fan would know, including Yuichi Nakamura as the main character, Tada, as well as Manaka Iwami, who is currently gaining popularity, Inori Minase, an already hugely popular voice actress, and Mamoru Miyano!
Charm #7: Cameras
The cameras featured in the series were created with the cooperation of major manufacturers, and many of them are real-life models. This makes it a very appealing series for camera enthusiasts. There are also quite a few detailed explanations about the cameras.
Charm #8: Everyday Life
The characters' school life and holidays seem to be so much fun, and they do silly things seriously and work together to do things. Watching this show brings back some memories of my own school days and brings back some nostalgic memories.
Charm #9: Theme Song
The opening theme, sung by Masayoshi Oishi, is a very upbeat and fun song. The ending theme, sung by Manaka Iwami, who plays Teresa, is mellow and the lyrics have a touch of loneliness, making it a truly beautiful song that somehow embodies the series.
Charm #10: The Production Team
This work was created by the reunion of the staff who produced Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, so anyone who has seen Nozaki-kun is sure to enjoy it. The Nozaki feel is abundant in this work, so it's a must-see for Nozaki fans!
【Tada Koi】Charms Summary!

If you haven't seen the hectic daily lives of cool, cute, and unique characters, along with the love they share, then be sure to check out this work that is overflowing with Nozaki's style.
