In any story, there's a hero and a villain. Naturally, even with their overwhelming strength, the Superhuman High Schoolers face many foes. From minor characters who are defeated as soon as they appear to powerful beings who become their nemesis... So, instead of the main characters, we'll introduce all the villains who appeared in the comics as their perfect fit! Some villains may be cut because they're too unimpressive, but be sure to check them out!
The Nameless "Soldier" Who Appeared in the First Episode of the Anime
First up is the nameless soldier, who also appeared in the first episode of the anime, which has already aired. He's technically a soldier, but what he does is no different from the barbarians who come to villages when the men are away and demand food and entertainment. This obviously bad guy gets lightly teased by the main characters from another world... This scene has become a staple in the first episode of the anime, and sure enough, he's instantly killed by Tsukasa and his men, and in the end he's threatened by Prince Akatsuki, screaming and disappearing. Incidentally, in the anime he's defeated by Aoi, Shinobu and Tsukasa, but in the comics he's all defeated by Tsukasa alone.
Yakkoi of the Noitzeland Trading Company
The next villain is Yakkoi of the Noitzeland Trading Company. Yakkoi is a merchant, and while he doesn't use force to fight, he has monopolized commercial rights in the city of Dortmund through bribery and other means. The one who challenges Yakkoi to a fight is the Demon King of Finance, Sanada Katsuto! However, for Katsuto, an opponent of this caliber is no match for him. Using the consignment system, Katsuto quickly overwhelmed the Noitzeland Trading Company. After breaking Yacko's spirit, he signed three contracts to ensure fair trade and left Dormund.
A slave trader targets "Lu," whom he recruited during the trade.
While Katsuto was fighting the Noitzeland Trading Company, he accepted a request from a girl named Lu and recruited her. However, Lu was a runaway slave, and armed merchants came to Katsuto's location armed with daggers and other weapons, hoping to reclaim their product (Lu). As the situation escalates, Katsuto asks Lu if she wants his help, and when Lu asks to buy him, Katsuto throws 750 gold at the merchants and says he wants to use it to buy Lu. Incidentally, the villagers of Elm Village need around 80 gold to survive the winter. Considering that, 750 gold is a considerable amount of money.
Inzaghi, the Lord's Aide
The image already gives away a huge spoiler of the ending... (lol) Inzaghi is Lord Findolf's aide, and manipulates the lord, effectively controlling the experiments in the Findolf territory. He visits Elm Village with his army, burns down the village on unjust charges, and kidnaps Lillu. Inzaghi's goal was to use Lillu as bait to get the lord to recognize his achievements and recommend him as a Golden Knight. However, these actions backfire, and the Superhuman High Schoolers strike back! The castle was attacked with depleted uranium shells and armed villagers, and Inzaghi was ultimately defeated in battle with the lord.
The Source of All Evil: Marquis Findolf
Even though his aide Inzaghi was pulling the strings behind the scenes, his lord, Marquis Findolf, was also a terrible villain. The most vicious of his actions was the law known as the "Right of the First Night." As the name suggests, the Right of the First Night was an absurd law that required a virgin to be offered to the lord, Marquis Findolf. Furthermore, if anyone broke the rules, he would execute them, their family, and the man they were with. He was fat, greedy, and always spoke with an "oja" (meaning "oja") tone... a typical villainous nobleman, but in the end he was taken down by a rubber bullet fired by Tsukasa. He was then put in a cage and exposed in front of the people.
The Residents of Kokonono Village Process and Eat Human Flesh
The residents of Kokonono Village are also victims of Gustave's absurd policies, but even if it was for the sake of survival, they crossed a line that should never have been crossed... Kokonono Village was originally a farming village and not a wealthy one, but Gustave's policies made it appear as luxurious as the royal capital. As a result, the village went bankrupt due to heavy taxation. With nothing to eat, they eventually resorted to killing travelers who came to the village and eating their flesh. Of course, the reason he welcomed Shinobu and Elk was to get them drunk and then kill them.
Marquis Arcride, the Wise General of the North
Marquis Arcride marched to the Findolf territory where Tsukasa and his friends were located under Gustave's orders. Originally, they had planned to attack in the spring, but Gustave's unreasonable orders forced them to join the Red Army in the middle of winter. Arcride, who was accompanied by a Golden Knight, was known as the "Wise General of the North" due to his cleverness. His greatest weapon was his collection of magical warhorses. However, even this proved no match for Tsukasa, and in the end, the fortress city he had holed up in was destroyed, forcing him to surrender.
The Greatest Enemy: Gustave the Impervious Prince
Gustave is almost certainly the greatest enemy in the anime. Nicknamed the Impervious Prince, he is characterized by his impatient temper and impatience. He serves as governor of the four northern territories and holds the title of Platinum Knight, the highest rank among knights. Gustave's obsessive loyalty to the emperor is also a defining characteristic. When he learned that the chiefs of the Findolf territory, one of the four territories entrusted to him by the Emperor, had started a rebellion and that the rebellion had been allowed to continue for a month, he broke down in tears, banged his head repeatedly on the floor, and knelt before the Emperor's statue.
His greatest weapon is the Large Soleil, a precious spear.
Gustave's greatest weapon is a strategic spell that uses a precious spear called Large Soleil. Unlike tactical magic, which can be easily used by chanting a spell, Gustave's strategic magic requires years of preparation. However, it harnesses the power of the fire spirit and boasts incredible power, enough to burn down entire towns and villages. To use it, simply throw it like a javelin. It will cross the continent and activate its magic wherever it hits. Gustave's will resides within Large Soleil's brain, and it speaks words while burning everything to ashes.
Large Soleil is ultimately destroyed by Aoi and a guided missile.
Large Soleil unleashes its power, but in the end, it is destroyed by Aoi and a guided missile. Before Large Soleil was activated, the missiles could not destroy it due to the power of the spirits, but after it was activated, the spirits' power separated from the spear and scattered throughout the city, making it possible to destroy it. However, the spear is protected by the will of Gustave, who can be said to be the true essence of Large Soleil, making it difficult to destroy... So Aoi grabbed onto the missile herself and guided it close in, then blew away Gustave's resistance with Zantetsusen and successfully destroyed it with the missile.
Golden Knight "Reisenach"
Speaking of the perfect traitorous scum, Golden Knight Reisenach is the man! Originally a member of the Blue Brigade, he was the one who stabbed the leader, Blumhardt, to death in the back... or so he says, incurring Jeanne's wrath. In terms of rank, he is a Golden Knight who ranks higher than Silver Knight Jeanne. But this is where Reisenach's true character shines! He orders his subordinates not to intervene in a one-on-one fight, but when he's about to be defeated by Jeanne, he retracts his previous statement and exclaims, "Shoot her dead!" With the help of Shinobu, he is easily killed by Jeanne.
Neuro Ul Levius, the key man in returning to the present day
Neuro is one of the Four Great Marshals, ranked second only to the Emperor. Neuro, the de facto leader with full decision-making authority from the Emperor, is from a different world than Tsukasa and the others, even knowing the term "nuclear missile." He says he can return Tsukasa and the others to their original world. However, Neuro seems far from straightforward. How will things unfold from here?
Summary of Enemies
So far, we've introduced the enemies that appear in the series. What do you think? The battle with Gustave is likely the highlight of the anime. This time, we only talked about Gustave in the first battle, but he hesitates to stand in front of Tsukasa and the others on multiple occasions. How exactly will the Superhuman High Schoolers' battle unfold? Stay tuned until the very end!
