Max is a character that appears in "SSSS.GRIDMAN". The English spelling is "MAX". He is one of the Gridman support members known as the New Century Junior High School Students, and transforms into the assist weapon Battle Tract Max. A rather stern presence, a giant in black clothing wearing a metal mask that covers the lower half of his face. If you look closely, you can see that not only is he wearing a mask, but his chest is also made of armor-like metallic parts. The most normal (for now) of the New Century Middle School Students, who are all oddballs. He has excellent judgment and leadership skills, and can be considered a leader who takes the initiative to unite the other three. In episode 5, when they pooled the money to buy junk, he was the one who paid the most (or rather, he paid most of it, and the total amount paid by the other three was less than 10%).
A capable older brother
He is also considerate of the subtleties of other people's feelings, and when he realizes that Hibiki Yuta has feelings for Takarada Rikka, he watches over them while calling their love "messy." He is also considerate, and even casually moves Calibur's sword so that it doesn't get caught on a door.

The left and right split Battle Tract Max docks with both arms of Gridman, who is making a fist pump, and the head parts at the back cover his head and combine. It uses its boosters to full throttle and delivers an accelerated flying kick. The viewers commented that it was a kick special move using the strengthened arm, but it is a finishing move that only makes sense because the combined arm parts have boosters. Also, when you add in the weight of the Battle Tract Max and the falling speed from high altitude with the booster's acceleration, it is clear that it is more powerful than a normal "superconducting kick" while saving energy.
