The first episode of "SSSS.GRIDMAN" depicts the exploits of the main character Yuta, who is suddenly forced to fight a giant monster when he finds himself in a difficult situation. The absolute threat of the monster and the flow of the story of how he acquires the ability to become a giant in order to face it are reminiscent of the "Ultraman" series, and are exciting developments for fans of special effects.
Anti's profile
A character who was called "mysterious boy" in the key visuals and official website before the broadcast. A boy with silver hair, white eyes, and a small build, he wears a long scarf around his neck and a school uniform decorated with a purple flame pattern. He first appeared in the third episode, "Hai・Kita". He encountered Takada Rikka while eating a convenience store bento alone in a park on a rainy day. She called out to him, but he ignored her, answered the call on his cell phone, and left the scene.
The origin of the name and its true identity
His true identity is an "auto-intelligent monster" created by Shinjo Akane and Alexis Kerib as an assassin to fight Gridman, and he is intelligent and can even converse. To begin with, only Anti has two forms, a human and a monster, and the reason for this is unknown.
A Masterpiece Monster
Since Yuta said that no monsters have appeared for a week, this is one of Akane's masterpieces, which probably took a week to create. Considering that previous monsters were created after coming home from school and appeared within the same day, which only took a few hours to create, it can be seen how much Akane is passionate about defeating Gridman.
The Disadvantages of Being "Born to Defeat Gridman"
Perhaps because he takes pride in being "born to defeat Gridman," or perhaps because he is loyal to his mission, for better or worse, when Akane asks him to eliminate a person she doesn't like, he refuses, saying, "I was born to defeat Gridman, so I can't do it," and when the monster he created to kill that person starts fighting Gridman, he turns into a monster on his own accord and gets in the way. Akane can't control him in that way, and it's a source of stress for her.
The strange relationship between Akane and Anti
Akane also seems to like Anti very much, calling him "Anti-kun", buying him lunch boxes and taking him to restaurants as a reward. However, she doesn't teach him anything at all. As a result, he doesn't even know how to use tableware, and when he eats, he grabs food with his bare hands or sticks his face in the plate and munches it down. On the other hand, he knows how to use a cell phone, and when Akane contacts him, he even interrupts his meal to answer the phone.
Poor Anti
What's more, since Akane made him, you would think he usually lives in Akane's house, but he's free to roam. Even though he lives in such a nice house, Anti waits in the park until he receives orders, and Akane doesn't give him an umbrella even if it rains. Even though he clearly hasn't even had a bath, Akane sniffs his scarf and mutters, "It stinks."
Anti in monster form
The monster's form is a refined version of the monster Shinobilar that appears in the live-action version, but Gridman had no particular reaction, perhaps because he had lost his memory. Also, perhaps because he is "Anti-Gridman," parts of his body resemble those of Zetton, who defeated Ultraman. His official name is "Anti-Gyojin Kaiju."
Gyojin means "to endure hardships in order to achieve revenge," and may be a fitting nickname for the Anti created by Akane to defeat Gridman.
Ability

His ability is specialized against Gridman. Anti's own speed is quite fast. His unique ability is to copy the power of his opponents. When Gridman Calibur, the reason for his previous defeat, appears, he responds by extending his long claws from his arms, and when his legs are immobilized, he responds by firing missiles. He can fire small light bullets like a barrage from the light sources all over his body, and can further increase his firepower by converging them into one giant ball of light to create a giant beam.
Weaknesses
On the other hand, there is a time limit for how long he can stay in monster form, and as that time approaches, the light-emitting organ on his forehead starts to flash. When the time limit is reached, he is automatically returned to human form, and eventually loses consciousness due to the exhaustion caused by the transformation. Because of this, there are many cases in the play where he is fighting on equal terms with Gridman but is unable to settle the score and is forced to retreat. It is not clear at this time why he is the only one with this characteristic, unlike the other monsters.
