The first episode of "SSSS.GRIDMAN" depicts the exploits of the main character Yuta, who is suddenly faced with a mission to fight a giant monster. The absolute threat of the monster and the flow of how he acquires the ability to become a giant in order to confront it are reminiscent of the "Ultraman" series, and are an exciting development for fans of special effects.

To investigate the disappearance of their classmate, the "Gridman Alliance" consisting of Yuta, Utsumi, and Rikka make plans to meet again after school. The junk shop is closed, but Rikka is asked to open it. Rikka is annoyed that the "Gridman Alliance" was formed without her permission and told to come every day.
7th place: Advice from older people
"You guys are so creepy. If you're worried, follow me. It'll be too late!"
Rikka personally serves food to the "New Century Junior High School Students." When everyone wonders if "something good happened," Rikka tells them about the group date on Saturday, and Bolar gives advice to Yuta and Utsumi, who are interested in Rikka and Akane, respectively.
6th place: The appearance of the popular class member, Shinjo Akane
"Here, I'll give this to you!" "Hibiki-kun, do you mean "Samurai don't eat, but they laugh loudly!"?" "Shinjo Akane. You're like a transfer student, or you've lost your memory!"
Yuuta, who had forgotten to prepare lunch due to his memory loss, was approached by his classmate "Shinjo Akane" who gave him a special hotdog saying "I have some left over." She was a popular student in the class and treated Yuuta kindly.
5th place: Announcement of the Front
"I'm going to make this monster go on a rampage at this school on the day of the school festival!" "So, try and stop me!"
Akane calls Yuta, Shou, and Rikka in the classroom and confesses that she has made a monster. She then warns that she will make the monster go on a rampage on the day of the school festival. Yuta and Shou think about how to fight Akane's warning. However, when Rikka finds out that the person they will be fighting is Akane, she becomes negative about fighting itself.
4th place: If it were the Ultraman series...
"Ah, if it were the Ultra series! The monsters have weaknesses!"
Gridman is struggling with the monster, but at that moment Junk also warns him of the danger. Utsumi, who sees this, thinks that it's the Ultraman series, and in an attempt to help Gridman, finds a tear in the monster's neck, which seems to be its weak point, and Rikka tries to type that information into the PC keyboard to convey it. Thanks to the efforts of Utsumi and Rikka, Gridman corners the monster.
3rd place: Explosion of joy
"I did it. I finally won. I did it!!!"
Yuta immediately becomes Gridman and confronts the monster, but is shaken by the monster's clear and smooth declaration, "I will defeat you!". The monster continues to attack Yuta, who is unable to fight back because "humans cannot be defeated." However, this monster has the ability to "copy the opponent's power," and Gridman is defeated by the monster's attack, which fires countless light bullets at the great sword as a final blow. Gridman disappears from the scene, Yuta does not return from the junk PC, and the screen goes black. Meanwhile, Akane laughs loudly on top of the monster's head, saying, "You're dead," and "I finally won."
2nd place: Gridman's decision

The rematch with Anti begins, and Max, a man in black, heads to Gridman, who is unable to keep up with Anti's speed in monster form. By combining with Gridman to become a giant tank, Gridman gains a stronger physique and an acceleration device that is incomparable to his previous ones. Now able to fight on equal terms with Anti, Gridman asks Anti if he is human during the fierce battle, but Anti spits it out and declares that he is a monster. Hearing this, Gridman decides to defeat him.
1st place: Scary Akane
"This is Hibiki Yuta. Find him and kill him!"
Akane orders the antis to kill Yuta. The antis resist, but Yuta understands that it is Gridman and puts it into action. In this scene, Akane's expression and the cracked screen of the cell phone show her insanity more than anything.
