Seven years after the release of the first game, the busty hyper-battle "Senran Kagura" anime series continues to gain popularity with its second season. The Shinobi Masters season kicks off with a total of 28 dancing ninjas, including girls from "Shijuku Gessen Girls' Academy," "National Hanzo Academy," "Hiratsu Hebi Girls' Academy," "Homura Guren-tai," and "Miko Kagura," as well as new characters from "Shinobi Master Senran Kagura NEW LINK."

Overview of National Hanzo Academy

A fictional school that appears in the Senran Kagura series. The school emblem features a shuriken against the backdrop of the feather-shaped kanji character for "half," with frog limbs engraved on it. Founded in 1919, the academy is a long-running institution that will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2019. While the school is named after the legendary ninja "Hanzou," its original name is apparently different. On the surface, it is a mammoth preparatory school with 1,000 students, and regular students also attend. However, behind the scenes, there is a secret "Ninja Class" that trains ninja students for ninja training, the existence of which is hidden from the general public.

Asuka

A girl who is always full of energy and puts her all into everything she does. She is the granddaughter of the legendary ninja Hanzo, and she is deeply considering the path of the ninja.
Although her ninja skills are still lacking, her potential is outstanding. Her favorite food is her grandfather's futomaki (thick sushi rolls). Her hobby is training. Her secret ninja technique is frogs (. Her element is earth. In the anime, she has a habit of laughing with her mouth open.

Although she is not clearly the leader at Hanzo Academy, her peers treat her as the de facto leader due to events in the series. Her ideal is to "fight in the shadows for everyone's smiles, unconcerned with praise and rewards." She has a straightforward personality, so pure that Homura even says, "She's always right, as always."

However, she is surprisingly sharp-tongued, and perhaps due to her competitive nature, she often gets worked up over thick sushi rolls. She often makes provocative remarks to Homura, leading to mutual provocation.

In battle, she wields two wakizashi, one long and one short, and fights by diving into the ground for surprise attacks and summoning frogs to use their tongues. Her speed and number of moves make her easy to use, even for beginners. While she doesn't have much reach, her attacks are quick. In some series, she can transform into the "True Shadow Asuka" form.

While the members of Senran Kagura have had some kind of past history, big or small, Asuka has no such past. Perhaps because Hibari was the main focus of the story, fans have been joking about her being overshadowed since the first game. Unlike her rival, Homura, Shinku (up until the fifth film in the series) never had a clearly powered-up appearance. Her appearance and personality are also rather bland, making her a popular target for teasing. In a way, she's beloved by fans.

Ikaruga

A third-year student at the National Hanzo Academy. When she enrolled, she had short, almost bowl-cut hair, and a gloomy personality that stubbornly closed off her heart to those around her. It was around this time that she met her older sister, Katsuragi, but their relationship was initially abysmal, with fights commonplace and even Kiriya-sensei at a loss for words. However, through her interactions with Katsuragi, she gradually opened up, and has continued to do so to this day.

She has long black hair, is quiet and elegant, yet has a strong core. She's a truly beautiful young lady, the epitome of a Yamato Nadeshiko. She's like an older sister to the Hanzou members, caring and trusted by them all. However, she's apparently very scary when angry, and once she does, she's apparently impossible to control. She's well-versed in the tea ceremony and has impressive cooking skills, but her creative cooking skills are questionable, resulting in some strange-looking dishes.

His secret ninja technique is the Firebird. His element is fire. Her weapons include the speed to instantly retrieve anything stolen, and the sword-drawing technique of wielding her family heirloom sword, the Hien, in a single stroke. The Hien's longer blade gives it greater range and reach than the Asuka. When she transforms into a ninja, her body becomes lighter, allowing her to perform acrobatic maneuvers such as somersaults, moonsaults, forward rolls, and cartwheels, as well as a wide variety of kicks.

In the Burst Snake Woman Arc, after meeting Yomi, he began charitable activities, such as performing hero shows in slums under the name KP Kamen. He continues this with Yomi in the VERSUS series and SHINOVI MASTER. Incidentally, Katsuragi was the one who coined the name KP Kamen, which stands for "Kurokami (K) Bang (P)." He placed second in popularity polls at the time of the original and Burst releases.

Katsuragi

Katsuragi, a third-year student at the National Hanzo Academy. Her most distinctive feature is her busty-baring dress shirt when she transforms into a ninja. She's nicknamed "Katsunee" (named by Asuka. It's revealed in the first season of the anime that it was inspired by her line, "We have no choice but to win"). She's a bossy character with a tendency to cry easily, and tends to act before thinking. Her favorite food is ramen. In the series, she makes something called "Wild Herb Ramen" using wild herbs she picks as part of her training, and she even appears on the signboard of a ramen shop called "Yaro Ramen," which she collaborated with.

At first glance, she appears to be a pure and innocent character with long blonde hair and large breasts, but in reality, she has the personality of a shonen manga protagonist, whose purpose in life is to fight strong opponents and become stronger. This is especially true since the voice actor is skilled at delivering a dignified, boyish voice. She also uses the first-person pronoun "Atai." This desire to become stronger is connected to a past event. After being overwhelmed by Hikage of Hebi Girls' Academy, she began to view her as a rival.

In action scenes, Katsuragi uses kicking techniques equipped with armor. While her reach is shorter than characters who use swords or projectiles, she leaves fewer openings. Her high stamina and defense give her an advantage in long-term battles. Her secret ninja technique allows her to use the power of the dragon to create wind. Asuka says, "Katsuragi is all about power," and in the anime, she even kicked away an oncoming train within the ninja barrier.

He has a weakness for cute girls, and will repeatedly sexually harass those he sets his sights on, such as by groping their breasts. She has also shown an interest in the breasts of non-human demons, and in "Senran Kagura Spark!" she was quite serious, sticking her head up Ikaruga's skirt in the middle of town. However, on the other hand, she doesn't like being sexually harassed herself or when someone else sexually harasses her. Perhaps out of respect for her, her junior colleague Ayame sexually harassed her in return, saying, "Please sexually harass me!"

Yagyu

A first-year student at the National Hanzo Academy. She is characterized by her silver twintails and an eyepatch over her right eye. She uses "ore" as her first-person pronoun and is what you'd call an orekko. Having known the ruthlessness and harshness of the ninja world since she was a child, she exudes a cool aura that doesn't suit her age. Furthermore, despite being a first-year, her abilities are extremely high, rivaling those of her seniors.

A kuudere who hates pointless things and tries to keep her emotions to herself except when necessary. She uses "ore" as her first-person pronoun. Her favorite food is dried squid. Her hobby is sleeping. Her secret ninja technique is squid. His element is rain. He wears an eyepatch over his right eye made from an old coin and his sister's (see below) ribbon, so that he doesn't forget his sister and to seal the power of the super-secret ninja technique that resides in his right eye (however, he seems to be allergic to metal).

He specializes in a variety of attacks using folding umbrellas equipped with blades and guns. He seems to like folding umbrellas as an object, and in "2," he gets a nosebleed after enthusiastically talking about the benefits of folding umbrellas. As expected of Hanzo Academy, his abilities are well-balanced and he has few clear weaknesses. His attack power is also fairly high, making him extremely strong against groups of people. His projectiles made with squid ink sometimes have the added effect of freezing.

She does have large breasts, but compared to the other characters in Senran Kagura who are all busty, it's easier to measure their bust size from the bottom up. Specifically, she's in the worst three. On the other hand, her waist is thicker than the other characters, and she's the undisputed number one among the main female characters. She even surpasses Daidouji-senpai. Her figure is faithfully reproduced in the in-game graphics. In other words, she's a little chubby. What they call a child-like figure. Maybe that means she has a squid belly, but that's what makes it good.

Hibari

First-year student at National Hanzo Academy. She has pink hair with a ribbon, a soft voice and way of speaking, and a love of sweets, making her a very childish girl. Her first-person pronoun is "Hibari." She's already often colored in pink, but when she transforms she wears a very eccentric outfit of tracksuit, bloomers, and loose socks, which makes her even more pink.

Character Profile

Born into a prestigious ninja clan with a long history, Hibari is a hard-working man who often gets into trouble. He uses martial arts reminiscent of childish fights, but is somewhat weak in combat, but excels at espionage. He likes all things sweet, and can be seen carrying a large amount of snacks or eating five crepes at a time. His hobby is video games.

Battle Style

Hibari fights using a mysterious fighting style known as "Pokapoka Irregular Martial Arts." However, his abilities are clearly inexperienced, reflecting his character's character traits, with the exception of his defensive abilities, being the lowest of all characters. Furthermore, compared to Katsuragi, a similar martial arts character, his reach is shorter and his movements are unorthodox. In exchange, his attacks generally land more hits. In his secret ninja technique, he borrows the power of the rabbit and gains the power of lightning.

Charms

His ninja skills are still immature, and his combat abilities are not particularly high. She herself is very concerned about this, and it has become a major complex for her, as she feels that she is holding everyone back. The game depicts her overcoming this complex, so she may be the main character whose growth is most apparent.

Daidouji Senpai

A third-year student (?) at the National Hanzo Academy. He's an incredibly talented student who passed the final ninja exam when he was still in his first year, but for some reason, he's held back from graduating. A legendary senior. He's apparently 25 years old now, meaning he's been repeating the same year for about seven years. At a normal school, he would have been kicked out long ago. The reason he stays is to keep fighting strong opponents and obtain the "beauty of death."

Character Profile

She often spends her time alone, away from the younger students, but she trains them and plays an important role in protecting the academy, which was left understaffed during Asuka and the others' absence at the end of "Shin'ei." She also usually acts as a voice from heaven (?), watching over the younger students. Incidentally, her parents apparently keep bringing up marriage proposals for her.

Battle Style

He specializes in spectacular hand-to-hand combat, using overwhelming power and speed that digs into the ground. Despite being a ninja, he has no intention of hiding. It has high defensive power and is extremely tough, as well as strong resistance to knockback (so-called super armor), making it good at long-term battles. All stats are at the highest level.

Charm

Senran Kagura's hair is incredibly voluminous, but it's not actually his natural hair. It seems like that shaggy hair is a wig, and Senran Kagura's real hair is blonde. In Spark, you can see Senran Kagura in her school uniform with blonde hair. She's a beautiful blonde, so many people say they want her to stay that way forever. She's a truly unfortunate beauty. And her personality is incredibly disappointing in every sense.

The second season of the anime "Senran Kagura," depicting the passionate battles and youth of young girls living as ninjas, and the release of a new game have been announced!
