Seven years after the release of the first game, the busty hyper-battle Senran Kagura series is gaining momentum with the second season of its anime TV series. Featuring girls from Shijuku Gessen Girls' Academy, National Hanzo Academy, Hebijo Girls' Academy, Homura Guren-tai, and Miko Kagura, as well as new characters from Shinobi Master Senran Kagura NEW LINK, a total of 28 dancing ninjas are now competing to become the pinnacle of ninja power in the Shinobi Masters series.
What kind of organization is the Homura Guren-tai?

Homura and the other five members of the Hebijo Girls' Secret Academy became runaways at the end of Senran Kagura Burst. From then on, they became a group of outlaws unaffiliated with any organization. Like other schools with their own emblems, the Homura Guren Squad's symbol is a looped snake with the character "kuren" (red) inside. They usually live in hideout caves, and instead of wearing the Hebijo uniforms they previously wore, each member appears to wear a different colored tracksuit as casual clothing.
Homura Guren Squad Overview
Homura is a group of runaway ninjas led by Homura. After assassinating Dogen, a financier of the Hebijo Girls' Secret Academy, she left the academy and became a runaway ninja along with the other members. Before transforming into a ninja, his appearance is in casual clothes, just like in the manga version of "Crimson Snake," and his Ouroboros-shaped accessory has been changed to something else. His catchphrase is "Dance and die (for the fate of evil)," just like in the previous work, but in the conversation before the final battle of the Guren Squad, he says something different. Also, in Rin's arcade mission, Eiji says, "Dance and die for the fate of good and evil."

Although a second-year student at Hebijo Girls' Secret Academy, she is the leader of the Hebijo girls, uniting the other four girls in her select class with her ability and charisma. She also accepts the Hebijo girls' applications and determines whether they can be admitted. She accepts everyone, adhering to the principles of "inclusiveness" and "tolerance of evil over good." Originally from a noble family of good ninjas, she ended up becoming an evil ninja for certain reasons. In Senran Kagura, she stands in the way of the protagonist Asuka, and in the sequel, "Burst: Guren Arc," she plays the main character.

He has a warlike personality and tends to be impulsive. Even after reconciling with Asuka, he still enjoys fighting as a way to feel alive. He has a strong sense of responsibility as a leader, such as being concerned about the future of the other members, but at the same time he has also begun to stand out as a comedic character who makes jokes that are difficult to comment on, and the gap between his serious and everyday life parts is becoming more and more pronounced.

In battle, he rampages around, wielding six swords at the same time, just like a certain leader. In addition to these swords, she always carries a long sword on her back, but it is sealed and will not be able to be drawn until she becomes even stronger. After founding the Homura Guren Squad, her pre-transformation attire changed to casual clothes such as a lettered T-shirt and jeans, and her ninja attire also changed significantly from being just a slightly modified version of her Snake Woman uniform.

A former Snake Girl student and a ninja. She appears as a boss enemy in the first game, "Shin'ei," and as one of the main characters in the sequel, "Burst: Guren Arc." Although she looks and speaks like a rich lady, contrary to appearances she actually comes from a slum, and even after enrolling she was so poor that she destroyed the medicinal herb flower beds and started her own vegetable garden. During the arcade missions, she says "luxury is the enemy" and fights mainly to correct the rich Gessen members. However, deep down she yearns for luxury, and succumbs to Minori's sweet attack.

Her favorite food is bean sprouts, known as an inexpensive ingredient, and it seems she loves them even aside from their role as a poor man's friend. They are her signature item, and in the Senran Kagura bonus booklet "Girls' Secret Files," chosen for their popularity in a pre-release poll, she is depicted smiling in front of a large serving of bean sprouts. In the first season of the anime, when she activates her ninja barrier, the area transforms into a mysterious space where bean sprouts fly around.

Her fighting style is a dynamic one, combining a greatsword, cannon, bombs, and a hand-mounted bowgun. Her attacks have a wide range and long reach. Her theme song, reminiscent of the Drill Man stage in Mega Man, is one of the game's best.

Hikage claims to have no emotions, but in "SHINOVI In one scene in the Guren Squad arc of "VERSUS," he has a conversation with Haruka, smiling brightly after using a suspicious drug made by her. He has been rivals with Katsuragi since the first game. At first, he was reluctant to take her challenges and brushed them off, but as they continued to fight, they came to understand each other, and he even went so far as to say, "It doesn't feel right to let someone else take Katsuragi away."

Her fighting style involves stabbing and slashing enemies with hidden weapons hidden in her limbs, and she uses versatile martial arts combined with her flexible body. When she receives a certain amount of pain and her health drops below half, she enters an extremely excited, frenzied state, increasing her movement and attack power but slightly lowering her defense. In the VERSUS series, she transforms into this form using a secret ninja technique, entering an invincible mode that makes her immune to damage, though it can only be used for a short time.

Due to being bullied as a child, she hates being ignored more than anything else. She didn't like Yagyu's reaction the first time they fought, so she stalks him. Her hobby is the internet. Her favorite food is hotpot. In "Guren," it was revealed that her reason for attending Hebijo was to gain the skills necessary to get revenge on those who bullied her in the past. She became a ninja by following Homura, who also became a ninja at the end of the first film, Burst, and the beginning of the second film.

Although she was bullied, she never lost faith in people. She shows a caring side, attempting to find friends on the Snake Woman BBS. After experiencing a certain incident, she became convinced that she might hurt her friends, and tried to run away from the Snake Woman to prevent that from happening. She is also the only female character with a picture available who has small breasts, which she is very self-conscious about.

... She attacks by unleashing firearms from under her long skirt. In the anime, she's also depicted unleashing small fighter jets. Even when she changes into a miniskirt, firearms still appear out of nowhere.
Haruka

A sadistic puppeteer wearing a white lab coat over a pink and white leotard. She's a sadistic, queenly type who loves tormenting the weak, but she also seems to have a masochistic side, as she enjoys being stripped. She has her eye on the slow-witted Hibari and bullies her at every opportunity, but this is actually the flip side of her desire for friends. After the Guren Arc in Burst, she left the Hebijo and, along with the other members, joined the Homura Guren Squad, a group of ninja defectors led by Homura.

Perhaps because of her tsundere-like tendencies, she actually cares more for her comrades than anyone else, and even cares about her servants in her own way. Her complex emotions and personality are deeply connected to her past. Haruka was once tormented by her mother's excessive, twisted love and her father's corruption and mistresses, and in a fit of desperation, she even attempted to set fire to her house.

In addition to freely controlling puppets, Senran Kagura fights by throwing test tubes filled with deadly chemicals and explosive liquids hidden beneath her white coat. These deadly chemicals are hidden within her ninja lab coat, so if the coat is destroyed and removed, her attack power and range are significantly reduced.
