Seven years after the release of the first game, the busty hyper-battle "Senran Kagura" anime series continues to gain popularity with its second season. The Shinobi Masters season kicks off with a total of 28 dancing ninjas, including girls from "Shijuku Gessen Girls' Academy," "National Hanzo Academy," "Hiratsu Hebi Girls' Academy," "Homura Guren-tai," and "Miko Kagura," as well as new characters from "Shinobi Master Senran Kagura NEW LINK."
10th Place: The Training Homura and the Others Undertake While Working Part-Time

Homura and the rest of the Homura Guren Squad are in the middle of a part-time job in the cold. Apparently, they're working hard because they want to eat turkey for Christmas. Homura never misses a workout, even while working. Apparently, she trains her legs by stomping her feet at high speed even while standing. The Guren Squad is forced to join in on Homura's silly training, leaving everyone around them in shock.
9th Place: Those Who Carry On Kurokage's Teachings

In middle school, Yuzumi and her friends find Gekko and Senko. While the two appear friendly and approachable to the other students, they take a completely opposite approach to Yuzumi and her friends, maintaining a cold, steadfast belief that power is justice. They condemn Yuzumi's lenient sense of justice, saying that she is Kurokage's granddaughter. They then disappear, saying they will carry on Kurokage's teachings. It appears the two are also connected to Yuzumi's grandfather, Kurokage, further deepening the mystery.
8th Place: Yukizumi and the others' infiltration operation

When Gekkou and Senkou are caught on camera during a sports tournament at the middle school, Yukimi and her friends decide to investigate. The next day, they begin their undercover investigation at the middle school of Gessen Girls' Academy, but the famous Yukimi and her friends are quickly spotted by the middle school students and held their smartphones over their heads. They then try to infiltrate the school disguised as female teachers, but give up again when they see Kusuma's suspicious appearance. They manage to obtain the middle school uniforms and begin their investigation.
7th Place: Why Yuzumi Can't Concentrate on the Mock Battle with Yozakura

Yuzuri and Yozakura are scheduled to have a mock battle at Shijuku Gessen Girls' Academy. However, even during the battle, Yuuzuri seems unfocused. It seems she hasn't seen Asuka since she lost her cat ears, and she can't get it out of her head. Worried about Asuka, Yuuzuri loses her enthusiasm for practice. Sensing this, Yozakura cancels the battle. So, Yuuzuri confides in Yozakura about her situation with Asuka. She asks, "Should I get a smartphone after all?" Fans watching the episode likely thought, "No way, that's something she's concerned about!"
6th place Yukifuki VS Kagura

Yukibuki approaches the Miko Kagura Sisters, Renge, Hanabi, and Kafuryu. Yukibuki then demands that she bring out her Kagura, putting the three on the brink of a showdown. Taking up Yukibuki's bait, Kagura transforms into Kagura as well. The two engage in a battle of invisible fists, styled after the Hokuto Shinken. With both sides evenly matched, Kagura seems curious about Yukibuki's true identity. However, Yukibuki refuses to respond. Kagura is about to attack her again, but then Senkou and Gekkou appear, coming to pick her up. They tell her to join the Shinobi Masters if she wants to know who she is, and the three then disappear. It's a deeply meaningful scene.
5th Place: Guren-tai vs. Members of Hebijo Girls' Academy

The members of the Homura Guren Squad, who have deserted Hebi Girls' Academy and are living a life of poverty, are full of enthusiasm for their first ninja-like job in a long time. They confirm the details and get to work, but then members of Hebi Girls' Academy, led by Miyabi, the target's bodyguard, appear. Miyabi and Homura enter into a fight. Neither of them backs down. Then, an arrow is fired, interrupting their battle. Miyabi then forces the corrupt politician, their target, to personally expose his past misdeeds, saving Homura's face. With this, Homura's job, Miyabi's job, and her job as bodyguard are all resolved.
4th Place: Asuka vs. Homura

Homura sees Asuka on the rooftop. Like Yuzumi, Asuka tells her not to join the Shinobi Masters. Homura senses Asuka's reluctance to discuss her situation, but she begins to transform, determined to fight and settle the matter. True to her character, she wants to fight and clear everything up. However, during their battle, Asuka resorts to a sneak attack, unbecoming of a good ninja, and even plants a bomb to lure Homura into a surprise attack. Homura is swept away by the water sprayed by the bomb planted in the water tower, losing consciousness. Asuka pleads with sad eyes that there is no justice in this world. This is yet another tragic battle. Can Asuka be saved from her descent into darkness?
3rd place Asuka VS Moonlight/Flash

A duo suddenly appears before Asuka, calling themselves "Moonlight" and "Flash." They condemn Asuka's ideology of comparing her power to a shield and a sword as being self-indulgent, and they warn her not to let it spread to the ninjas, before attacking her. Asuka is taken aback by their sudden attack. Even though she is beaten one-sidedly, she becomes enraged when they show her Hibari's bloodstained ribbon, but in the end, she is no match for them and is killed in return. Asuka is overcome with despair at her own weakness and breaks down in tears.
2nd place Asuka VS Yukisen

On her way home, Yuzumi hears Asuka's voice and heads to the park alone. There, she finds Asuka sitting alone on a swing. Asuka mutters that she's realized there's no justice for ninjas, and that swords and shields are useless. Yuzumi is shocked by Asuka's transformation. Losing her pride as a ninja after being defeated by Senkou and Gekkou, Asuka falls into despair. Yuzumi and the others move to help the Hanzo Academy members, but they attack, refusing to let them. Asuka suddenly transforms into a ninja and attacks Yuzumi. Even during the fight, Asuka tries to convince Yuzumi that Asuka taught her about the sword and shield, but they both die. How will this tragic battle play into the story going forward? It's an exciting prospect.

Asuka has come to Harajuku to buy a Christmas present. There, she happens to meet Yukizumi from Shijuku Gessen Girls' Academy and they go shopping together. Apparently, Asuka had been looking for the cat ears Katsuragi had wanted, and when she mentioned it to Yukizumi, she seemed to have a hunch, so they decided to go shopping together. The two of them went to a cosplay shop and got the cat ears they were looking for. Asuka also found some bunny ears, which she seemed to like so much, she even said she'd use them in battles. Both Asuka's bunny ears and Yukizumi's cat ears were just too cute.
