As I've mentioned in other Katarina-related articles, this is the beginning of Katarina's childhood, so let's revisit it... Katarina's story begins when she was 8 years old. Around this time, she met Geordo, and while clinging to him, they collided, causing her to fall and bleed from her forehead. The shock of the experience brought back memories of her past life. Incidentally, while everyone around her was making a fuss, the injury itself was not serious, and while it was said that it might leave a scar, it was merely her childhood trademark (an X on her forehead).

Katarina herself doesn't take her forehead injury too seriously, but Geordo doesn't feel the same way. Geordo comes to visit her and expresses concern that the injury may affect her future marriage prospects. Katarina, however, is lost in thought, ignoring Geordo's concerns about the hassle of making her debut into society. Later, Geordo asks for her consent, and Katarina agrees. After Geordo leaves the room, the maid, Anne, excitedly runs up to Katarina and congratulates her on her engagement. It's only then that Katarina realizes she's engaged to Geordo.

As Katarina holds a mirror and thinks about the otome game she played in her previous life, she suddenly remembers a character named Geordo, a scheming prince, featured in the game. Furthermore, remembering her upbringing and her rival villainess, Katarina investigates further and becomes convinced that this world is the world of the otome game "FORTUNE LOVER" that she played in her previous life.

In her previous life, Katarina died in a traffic accident at the young age of 17. Her wish this time is to live a long life. To achieve this, she must avoid the disastrous endings of death or exile. Despite being given strange looks by those around her, she began to till the field quite seriously. Shortly after her engagement to Geordo, a boy named Keith is adopted by the Claes family, giving Katarina a stepbrother. Keith is also one of the characters in "Fortune Lover," and in the game, Katarina interferes with Keith and Maria's relationship, leading to a disastrous ending where she is either exiled or murdered. Katarina knew that Keith's loneliness was related to their meeting, so she actively interacted with him to prevent him from feeling lonely. Obsessed in romance novels, Katarina went to a party hosted by Geordo and Alan one day in search of fellow romance novel lovers. There, she met Sophia, a beautiful girl with white hair and red eyes. Upon learning that Sofia was knowledgeable about romance novels, Katarina immediately invited her to her home, just as she had done with Mary. Katarina looked forward to the day she could meet Sofia. Finally, on the appointed day, when she went to pick her up, she found a stunningly beautiful young man there... He was none other than Sofia's brother, Nicole, one of the game's main characters.
