The second season of Hamefura, also known as "My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!", will air in July 2021! The first season was a huge hit, making it one of the most anticipated summer anime! This time, we'll introduce the characters from Hamefura who appeared in the first season, as well as the characters scheduled to appear in the second season!

Katarina Claes, the arrogant, selfish, and evil daughter of the Duke of Claes, one day suffers a severe blow to the head and recalls her memories from her past life. However, according to her memories, this world is the very world of the otome game "FORTUNE LOVER," and Katarina was a villainess who excessively harassed the protagonist, Maria, and was ultimately condemned and ruined by the main character's character! !!

Character #1: Katarina Claes

The protagonist of this work, the daughter of the Duke of Claes. Originally a villainous young lady who appears in the otome game "FORTUNE LOVER," she is a character destined for ruin in most routes. After suffering a severe head injury at the age of eight, she recalls memories of her past life and realizes that she will be doomed in the future. Since then, she has tried to avoid ruin by every means she can think of.

Katarina Claes' Personality!

His original personality is selfish and arrogant, and he is not afraid to harass the protagonist to the point of committing a crime. However, after recalling his memories from his past life, he becomes cheerful, energetic, and treats everyone equally. However, he is not particularly intelligent and is simple and not good at thinking about complex things. Character #3: Geordo Stuart

One of the characters in "FORTUNE LOVER." The third prince of the Kingdom of Sorcier, he becomes Katarina's fiance after taking responsibility for scarring her face. While he would normally have shown no interest in the arrogant Katarina, he is drawn to her innocent nature and unusual kindness for an aristocrat, and begins coming to see her every three days. Katarina says she's willing to break off their engagement now that the scar on her face is gone, but Geordo has no intention of breaking it off and is trying to make her his own at every opportunity.

In the game, he's a prince who always has a smile on his face, but is a genius who can do anything, and is actually a sly character deep down. Because of his genius, he's portrayed as someone who can't take an interest in anything. However, he's now very interested in Katarina and clearly has feelings for her. His personality is likely more mellow than in the game.

Character #4: Alan Stuart

One of the characters in "FORTUNE LOVER." Geordo's younger brother and the fourth prince of the Kingdom of Sorcier. He's a self-centered character with silver hair and a wild, wild appearance. He was sickly as a child and grew up constantly being compared to his talented older brother, which caused him to harbor a strong inferiority complex. However, thanks to Katarina's influence, he is able to overcome this inferiority complex. In fact, his musical talent surpasses that of his brother. He unconsciously has feelings for Katarina.

Alan Stuart's Personality!

Although he is an egocentric character, in the game he also has a servile side due to his inferiority complex toward his brother. However, now that he has overcome this inferiority complex through his interactions with Katarina, he has grown into a fine young man with a good relationship with his sister. In the game, he is supposed to have romantic feelings for Mary, but they have a friendly relationship.

Character #5: Nicole Ascart

One of the characters in "FORTUNE LOVER." The eldest son of the Ascart Count family, he is a taciturn, handsome, and brazen young man. He dotes on his younger sister, Sophia, and protects her from persecution by those around him. While you must interact with Sophia to win Nicole's heart in the game, Katarina begins to interact with him after accidentally becoming close friends with her. Nicole is a very sensible person, so he doesn't show it outwardly, but he also has feelings for Katarina.

She remains taciturn, shy, and sensible, just as she was in the game. However, due to Katarina's efforts, Sophia's criticism of her has lessened, and her siscon level with her has decreased.

Character #6: Sophia Ascart

Nicole Ascart's younger sister and the rival character in Nicole's route in "FORTUNE LOVER." She is a stunningly beautiful girl with white hair and red eyes, but her appearance has led to her being shunned by others, and her brother Nicole has been protecting her. However, due to her shared hobbies, she became close friends with Katarina and developed a deep admiration for her, who didn't care about her appearance. In fact, she is the reincarnation of Atsuko Sasaki, Katarina's friend from her previous life, but neither Katarina nor Sophia realize this.

Sofia Ascart's Personality!

In the game, she was shunned by those around her and had a passive, introverted personality. However, her current relationship with Katarina has transformed her personality into a brighter one. Furthermore, because she truly adores Katarina, she constantly tries to set her up with her brother, Nicole.

In the game, she opposes Maria but does not harass her. She was a noble woman who would quietly step aside if Alan chose Maria. However, now, Katarina's intervention has caused her character to collapse, and she has become infatuated with Katarina. She has no romantic feelings for her fiancé, Alan, and treats him somewhat roughly. She has become a crazy, psycho-lesbian who interferes between Katarina and the other men and even considers eloping with her.

Character #8: Maria Campbell

The beautiful blonde protagonist of the original "FORTUNE LOVER" series. Despite being a commoner, she possessed the power of light magic, which led to a difficult life, including a broken family and being criticized by those around her. Even after working hard to get into the magic academy, this treatment continued. The target was originally supposed to help Maria when Katarina was bullying her, but instead, Katarina ended up helping Maria, leading to a friendship and a deep affection for her.

She is a kind, gentle, and strong-willed girl. In the game, she is the player character. However, she was effectively abandoned by her father, and those around her mocked her as the illegitimate child of a nobleman. She faced discrimination at school and lost her smile. However, she regained her smile when Katarina rescued Maria from the villainous ladies.

Character #9: Sirius Deke/Raphael Walt

The school's student council president and a hidden character in "FORTUNE LOVER." He's a beautiful redhead and a kind, gentle upperclassman, but all of this is an act. He's actually the child of Duke Deke and a servant. When the Duchess sacrificed his mother to dark magic, she was used in a ritual to transfer the consciousness of the real, diseased Sirius Deke. However, the ritual failed, and only his memories and knowledge were inherited. He hid this fact and waited for an opportunity for revenge. His real name is Raphael Walt.

Sirius Deeks/Raphael Walt's Personality!

Originally gentle and kind, he was controlled by the Dark Wizard's desire for revenge due to dark magic. However, his original kindness was not completely lost, and after Katarina defeated the Dark Wizard's desire for revenge, he regained his true self. After the incident, he left the academy, but was picked up by the Ministry of Magic and spent his days being overworked by his superiors.

Character 10: Jeffrey Stuart (appearing in Season 2)

One of the game's main characters in "Fortune Lover II," Rufus Broad is the perpetrator who used dark magic to kidnap Katarina with Serena Berg. Originally from the slums, he was captured after committing theft and spent his childhood as a slave. His original name was Sora. She learned to read and write from a man she met in the slums, and her relatively well-educated nature made her a valuable addition to the slave community. Eventually, she was picked up by David Mason, a Jeffrey supporter.
