The fifth season of My Hero Academia, also known as Hero Academia, will finally begin airing in April! Season 5 will likely feature joint combat training between Class A and Class B, as well as the conflict between the Villain Alliance and the Paranoia Liberation Army. The conflict between the Villain Alliance and the Paranoia Liberation Army will feature the exploits of the enemy characters, the Villain Alliance. This episode is set on the villain side, not the hero side, and will have a major impact on the future developments in Hero Academia. In this article, we'll be revealing spoilers about the conflict between the Villain Alliance and the Paranoia Liberation Army!
Who is the Paranoia Liberation Army that is waging war against the Villain Alliance?
Back when Quirks were called "paranormal abilities," the Paranormal Liberation Army was an extremist organization that stood up for the rights of those with paranormal abilities. In the world of My Hero Academia, the indiscriminate use of Quirks was prohibited to maintain order. While working to establish laws to prevent this, the organization faced conflict and defeat, resulting in the arrest of many members, including its first leader, Destro. However, Destro's son subsequently rose to power as Re-Destro, secretly recruiting comrades. Their membership is said to number 116,516, including powerful figures like Re-Destro, giving the organization organizational strength not found in the League of Villains.
What is the purpose of the Paranormal Liberation Army, which has finally begun its activities?!
The Paranormal Liberation Army's goal is to create a society where Quirks can be used freely. To increase their numbers, they take action against the League of Villains. They capture and torture brokers with connections to the League of Villains to extract information, then summon the League's leaders to their base in Aichi City. Their goal is to protect the League of Villains, because they are treated like the top villains. They believe that defeating the League of Villains will increase their influence.
Toga Himiko vs. Kyrios
The Paranormal Liberation Army uses its organizational power to corner the League of Villains' executives. The first battle begins with the Paranormal Liberation Army's Kyrios, also known as Kizuki Okitoshi, and Toga Himiko. Despite being outnumbered, Toga Himiko attempts to overcome the situation with her transformation abilities, but she struggles against the overwhelming force of numbers and Kyrios's Quirk, which turns anything he touches into an explosive, setting up a trap. Toga Himiko's transformation abilities are the only power she possesses, and they aren't specialized for combat. Toga Himiko transforms using Ochako's blood and attempts to escape, but of course, she's not allowed to escape.
Toga Himiko Awakens!
Battered and cornered to the brink of death, Toga Himiko awakens her transformation quirk at the last moment, allowing her to use Ochako's quirk. Using Ochako's weightless powers, she levitates the Paranormal Liberation Army soldiers one after another and drops them from great heights, killing them. Although she knew she had to do it, it was a method Ochako would never have resorted to even if she had been able to.
Dabi vs. Gaiden, the Master of the Blue Flame
After the battle between Toga Himiko and Kyrios, Gaiden, a soldier of the Paranormal Liberation Army, confronts Dabi. Gaiden, a soldier who had spent all his time training in combat instead of attending school, possesses a powerful ice Quirk. A large-scale battle breaks out, and the enemy alliance is divided. Meanwhile, Twice has come alone to search for Toga Himiko, who has gone ahead. However, by the time Twice finds her, she is already on the verge of death. Then, Skeptic, a member of the Paranormal Liberation Army, appears before Twice.
Twice vs. Skeptic
Skeptic's target was Twice himself. Due to his circumstances and his double Quirk, Twice became unsure of his identity and became mentally ill. However, his double Quirk was also an extremely attractive ability for the Paranormal Liberation Army. Skeptic tried to capture Twice, but Himiko Toga and the League of Villains were his only home. Twice unleashes his powers to save the badly injured Toga Himiko.
Twice Reaches Giran
With his powers unleashed, Twice's momentum is unstoppable. Despite being overwhelmed by sheer numbers, he single-handedly pushes back. Twice then reaches Re-Destro, the leader of the Paranormal Liberation Army. Twice uses his double Quirk to create members of the League of Villains and fight Re-Destro, but his stress-induced Quirk leaves him helpless against his tough physique and extraordinary fighting abilities. However, during the battle, the building itself collapses. This was the result of the real Shigaraki's Quirk.
Re-Destro vs. Tomura Shigaraki
The building collapses, but of course, Re-Destro is still alive, and the final battle with Shigaraki begins. Behind the scenes, a mass-produced Twice treats Himiko Toga, while Spinner battles enemies like Trumpet and Kuro-chan, politicians with the Sedition Quirk. The battle with Re-Destro was fierce, but Shigaraki's Disintegration Quirk destroyed Re-Destro's trump card, the Powered Suit, damaging both of his legs and negating his stress-induced enhancements. Re-Destro's stress subsided because Shigaraki appeared to him glowing, causing him to lose his will to fight and surrender, joining the Paranormal Liberation Army and the League of Villains.
The Paranormal Liberation Front is Born!!
With Re-Destro's surrender, the Mudflower Street Battle Resurrection Festival came to an end. Shigaraki and the League of Villains absorbed the Paranormal Liberation Army, held a rally with the newly recruited executives, and resurrected under the name of the Paranormal Liberation Front. The League of Villains, once viewed as the heroes' greatest threat, has transformed into an even more formidable force, with unprecedented influence on society, organizational strength, and Shigaraki himself becoming even stronger.
Hawks in the Shadows
Hawks, who had infiltrated the organization as a double agent, demonstrated his loyalty by killing and handing over Best Jeanist, but it seems he was not yet fully trusted, and he was completely left out of the loop on this matter. Concerned that Japan could be finished if things continued this way, Hawks continues his secret operations as a double agent.
