The fifth season of the anime series "My Hero Academia," also known as Hiroaka, will begin in April 2021. Various heroes and villains have appeared, and the story is reaching a major turning point! Since the series began, various hero personalities have emerged, some of which have had a major impact on the main characters. This time, we'll be introducing the personalities of the active heroes (as well as retired/exited heroes) who have appeared so far!
The Strongest No. 1 Hero: All Might
The strongest No. 1 hero, whose very existence is said to be a deterrent to crime. He's also known as a "natural-born hero" and a "symbol of peace." This legendary hero transformed an era of chaos and Quirks. However, before the story begins, he faced his nemesis and defeated him, but suffered serious injuries that left him with severe after-effects. He entrusted the future to his successor. Even after entrusting his Quirk to Izuku, he continued to fight with the lingering power of One For All, but ultimately retired after giving it his all in a deadly battle with All For One. His real name is Toshinori Yagi.
Quirk: One For All
While hardening itself is a simple physical strengthening ability, its output is extraordinary, allowing him to fly through the air as if he had a jumping Quirk and change the weather with a single punch. However, its true essence is a combination of a "power storage Quirk" and a "Quirk transfer Quirk." This Quirk has been passed down from All Might's previous successors; All Might himself was Quirkless. Realizing his own physical limits, he entrusts his power to the protagonist, Izuku Midoriya.
The Burning Hero "Endeavor"
Endeavor was always second to the overwhelming presence of All Might. After All Might retired, he reluctantly became the No. 1 hero. He was extremely proud and ambitious, always chasing after All Might. However, his obsession was twisted, forcing him to marry a woman with a strong Quirk and subjecting her children to abusive training. After a conflict with his son, Shoto, and All Might's retirement, his attitude began to change, and he began to face his family. His real name is Enji Todoroki.
Quirk: Hellflame
This Quirk allows the user to freely control explosive flames. By utilizing the flames, he is able to unleash overwhelming firepower and move at high speeds. By adjusting the firepower, he can move in the air, hover, and maneuver with great agility. This powerful Quirk, however, has the drawback of overheating and impairing bodily functions if the firepower is too high.
Wing Hero "Hawks"
Hawks debuted at the age of 18 and is the only person to have made it into the Top 10 of the Billboard Hero Charts as a teenager. His ranking on the Billboard charts rose from 3rd to 2nd around the time of All Might's retirement. He has a laid-back and elusive personality, and shows no interest in becoming a hero. However, it is later revealed that he is a traitor for the League of Villains. However, he is in fact a double agent who has infiltrated the League of Villains at the request of the Public Security Bureau. His real name is Keigo Takami.
Quirk: Hard Wings
His Quirk allows him to freely control the wings on his back. He can shoot them and change shape, but losing feathers reduces his flight ability. His Quirk excels in mobility, flight, speed, and a variety of wing-based actions. He also has high sensing abilities, and the wings themselves can be used as powerful weapons, making him extremely versatile and all-purpose. However, he has a weakness: if he loses his wings in any way, his functionality is reduced.
Fiber Hero "Best Jeanist"
A graduate of U.A. High School and a fashion leader. True to his name, he has won the Best Jeanist Award for eight consecutive years. He wears jeans that cover his mouth, and his aesthetic lies in not only his heroic exploits but also his dedication to training the next generation. He has risen from 4th to 3rd on the Hero Billboard chart. His real name is Hakamada Isamu.
Quirk: Fiber Master
His Quirk allows him to freely manipulate fibers. His delicate control allows him to restrain enemies and force their movement. Some clothing is easier to manipulate than others, with denim being easier to manipulate and sweatshirts being harder to manipulate. Regardless of friend or foe, the clothes worn by Eraserhead can be used as weapons or support, making him a valuable asset in many situations. He was used by the double agent Hawks to curry favor with the League of Villains and then disappeared...
Eraserhead: The Eraserhead Hero
Eraserhead is the homeroom teacher for Class 1-A at U.A. High School. He's a middle-aged man with a dull appearance, but that's because he's an ultra-rationalist who hates wasting time. While he appears to be a strict teacher, ruthlessly expelling unsuccessful classmates, he also has the right to reinstate them, believing that imposing hardships and unreasonable conditions leads to students' growth. In reality, he has a rather lenient personality. His Quirk is somewhat of a murderous one, and his low profile hinders his recognition, but he is a well-known and reliable figure among heroes. His real name is Aizawa Shota.
Quirk: Erasure
This Quirk erases the Quirk of anyone he gazes upon. It is canceled by blinking, and while active, his hair stands on end and his eyes turn red. He cannot use it for long periods due to dry eyes. It cannot be neutralized for aberrant Quirks that manifest as physical traits. Due to its nature, it is well-suited for surprise attacks, providing an advantage against small numbers of enemies and making it suitable for a support role. However, he himself has honed his combat skills using special cloth, giving him the skills to fight even when his abilities are ineffective.
Voice Hero "Present Mic"
An English teacher at U.A. High School. He has a flashy appearance, sunglasses, and blonde hair. He's always high-spirited and refers to his students as "listeners." He's also a radio DJ and has his own show. However, despite his flashy appearance, his classes seem to be pretty average. He's a classmate of fellow teacher Aizawa from their days at U.A. His real name is Yamada Hizashi.
Quirk: "Voice"
This Quirk allows him to produce a voice loud enough to burst eardrums. He can freely control both high and low tones. His attacks are virtually omnidirectional, allowing him to attack from long distances. However, if used improperly, his Quirk could potentially injure his allies. In fact, his first cry apparently destroyed the eardrums of his parents and doctor.
Gran Torino, the Speedy and Skilled Hero
A veteran hero who mentored Izuku during his internship. He once teamed up with Nana Shimura, the 7th master of One For All, and is an old friend of All Might, who inherited One For All from Nana Shimura. He once trained All Might, and his Spartan training left the legendary fighter traumatized. When he met Izuku, he pretended to be a senile old man, but his abilities remain undiminished. His real name is Tono Sorahiko.
Quirk: "Jet"
This Quirk allows him to expel the air he has just inhaled from nozzles on the soles of his feet, flying through the air at high speeds. His explosive acceleration allows him to fly both indoors and outdoors. His jet-speed attacks are also powerful, and his Quirk allows him to simulate flight.
Sir Nighteye, All Might's former partner
All Might's former sidekick, he was responsible for miscellaneous tasks and supported All Might's success from behind the scenes. He is strict and strict with himself and others. He also has a humorous side, but his sour expression makes his humor more serious. He is an extremely big All Might fan, and his office is filled with All Might merchandise. However, a certain incident led to him becoming estranged from All Might. His real name is Sasaki Mirai.
Quirk: "Precognition"
Nighteye has the ability to predict a person's actions for up to an hour. He can see the target's future like a camera film. The future can range from a few minutes to several years in the future, and his predictions are generally inaccurate, meaning that even Nighteye cannot change the future he has seen. Perhaps because his ability to predict the future was an extremely powerful Quirk that could have influenced the story's development, he died in the battle with the Shie Hassaikai. He was 38 years old.
