The heroine and protagonist are both characters! The youthful romantic comedy "We Never Learn," or "FuriFura" for short, is set to be adapted into both a live-action and animated film in 2020! It's a romance manga that keeps you glued to the screen as the love lives of four high school students, who start out all over the place, gradually change. In this article, we've selected seven of the best scenes from "FuriFura" to introduce.
It was the first time a boy had ever touched her... The moment Yuna's love began to move!
Yuna Ichihara is shy when it comes to romance and doesn't stand out in class. She rarely speaks more than necessary to anyone except her childhood friend Kazuomi. Yet, Yuna unknowingly falls in love at first sight with Yamamoto Akari's younger brother, Rio. One day, Rio has something to apologize to Yuna for, so he waits for her downstairs at the apartment building. Suddenly, Rio calls her "Yuna-chan," and that alone makes Yuna nervous.
Even as Rio speaks, Yuna immediately looks down nervously... Rio, who has no idea how Yuna feels, touches Yuna's face with both hands and forces her to look up, saying, "Why are you always looking down? Come this way!" Naturally, their faces get closer, and Yuna's heart starts beating wildly at the situation and the fact that his face has been touched! Is Rio just a bit naive? This innocent exchange between the two makes for a heart-warming scene!
"Yuna-chan is my goddess!" This is the scene where Rio confirms his "love"!
As Rio begins to notice the ever-changing Yuna, he dreams of kissing her, which makes him even more obsessed with her. Meanwhile, the five of them—Yuna, Akari, Kazuomi, and Rio's classmate, Agatsuma—go to the summer festival... However, Agatsuma and Yuna suddenly become closer!
Later, Rio tells Yuna that he's sorted out his feelings for Akari. Yuna then sheds tears of joy, knowing that Rio has been freed from his pain... Seeing this, Rio becomes convinced that he loves Yuna, who freed him from his pain. Rio is so happy that he can't help but hug Yuna! This is an exciting scene that marks the beginning of a new relationship between Yuna and Rio, who are not yet dating.
Feelings so strong they can't help but be expressed! Yuna and Rio confess their feelings!
On the day of the school festival, Rio hears from Agatsuma that Yuna has a crush on someone and plans to confess her feelings at the after-party. While shocked to learn that Yuna has a crush on someone, Rio runs off in search of Yuna, determined not to let the situation end without confessing his feelings. Meanwhile, Yuna, who was rejected by Rio once, is now looking for him, wanting to tell him that he loves him again, even more now that he's become a cooler person than he was back then.
The two meet before the after-party begins, and Rio confesses his feelings to Yuna! When Rio sees Yuna's face, his emotions begin to overflow, and he confesses, "You said I just wanted you to know how I feel, but that's a total lie! It's not enough at all. I really wish you'd fall in love with me even now. Please don't go and confess to me. That's how much I love you, Yuna!" Yuna cries tears of joy at his words, and tells Rio that she's also been thinking about confessing to him.
And so, the two end up dating, and while the confession scene on the ferris wheel is probably the best, all of the innocent interactions between the two that follow are also heart-warming! Be sure to tune in to the school festival!
A thrilling surprise! Akari and Kazuomi are on the Ferris wheel...
Akari, Kazuomi, and Yuna and Rio decide to go to an amusement park together. Kazuomi, concerned about Yuna and Rio, who are just starting to date, suggests they ride the Ferris wheel together. However, Akari, riding the wheel for the first time, is so frightened that she can't even open her eyes...
Kazuomi tries to get to Akari's side, but with her eyes closed, Akari is startled by the swaying motion when Kazuomi moves. In a panic, Kazuomi ends up hugging Akari, and the two begin to feel excited in a different way. Kazuomi gently pats her on the back... The fact that the two aren't dating yet makes this scene even more bittersweet and frustrating!
What will be the outcome of their misunderstandings? Akari and Kazuomi confess their feelings!
Akari can't honestly express her feelings, and Kazuomi has decided not to confess until he tells his family about his dreams for the future. While the two aren't making any progress, Akari's ex-boyfriend, Ryosuke, frequently contacts Akari and makes advances! Finally, Ryosuke confesses his feelings to Akari. However, no matter how much Ryosuke pressured her, Akari's love for Kazuomi remained unwavering. It was only after Ryosuke confessed his feelings that she was able to realize them.
Meanwhile, while Akari was being confessed to, Kazuomi was telling his parents about his dreams for the future and contacting Akari to say he had something to tell her... And finally, after years of drifting apart, Akari and Kazuomi finally confess their feelings to each other at the observation deck, a place full of memories for the two of them. They end up dating. Another noteworthy scene is how the insensitive pair don't realize their feelings are mutual until the very end.
Akari is going to study in America? The scene where Akari tells Kazuomi the answer!
The Yamamoto family is about to be transferred to the United States when Akari's father is transferred. Kazuomi believes that if Akari wants to become an interpreter, she should definitely follow him, and even tells her that he'll break up with her if she gives up her dream for his sake. Akari is shocked by this, but she also realizes that Kazuomi's words are not sincere.
Kazuomi doesn't want to steer Akari in the wrong direction, even going so far as to give up her dreams for him. Understanding this, Akari decides to go to America and tells Kazuomi. Kazuomi, seemingly relieved to hear Akari's decision, tells her, "I'll never say we're breaking up again." "It's only been a few years, hasn't it? I'm sure it'll become a classic story about our past," he says, proposing marriage... This scene is so touching it brings tears to your eyes!
A final scene that will make you smile!
