"Kemono Friends" is a hugely popular anime featuring human-like animals, and even after the anime aired, it continues to enjoy popularity in various forms, including games and comics. The main character of the "Kemono Friends Project" is Serval. She appears in each series and is arguably the most famous Friend, so we'll introduce you to her charm.

Serval is the other main character in the anime. She is a Friend whose territory is in the "Sabaru Area" of Japari Park. She is always cheerful and upbeat, and has a positive personality that never gives up, even when faced with difficulties. She is also very caring towards her friends, and cannot bear to leave Kaban-chan alone when she heads to the library, so she accompanies her. From then on, he becomes especially close with Kaban. However, the other Friends call him clumsy.
The Real Serval

Kemono Friends are carnivorous mammals of the Felidae family, Felidae genus. They live in Africa south of the Sahara Desert. They are medium-sized animals, measuring 60-100 cm in length and weighing 6-18 kg. She's skilled at making huge jumps of up to 4 meters when hunting. Serval, by the way, means "hunting dog." Even though she's a cat...
Serval's Straightforward Expressions

Servals express their thoughts and feelings straightforwardly. When you hear them say things like "Amazing!" or "Wow!", you immediately know what they're feeling. Also, when people didn't know what kind of animal Kaban was, they started calling it "Kaban-chan" because it was carrying a bag, and it was a serval. That's easy to understand.

Caring for Her Friends

As mentioned above, Serval cannot leave Kaban alone and always accompanies her. Serval also helps Kaban when he gets physically exhausted during his travels, and when Kaban is feeling down because he can't find anything he's good at, Serval is kind enough to accept his unique personality by saying, "Each friend has different strengths."
Full of Curiosity

Since traveling with Kaban, Serval has seen and heard many things. He's always amazed by everything, exclaiming, "That's amazing!" He's always been amazed by the things Kaban thinks of and makes.
Surprisingly Strong?

Like the original Serval, Serval has high physical abilities, and is adept at high jumps, tree climbing, and cliff climbing. He's also very strong, jumping across a river while holding a broken bus part. He also uses his sharp claws to boldly challenge Ceruleans. Despite his small body, he's brave enough to face even the largest Ceruleans.
Strong Body

Serval also has a strong body. In episode 3, he falls off a ropeway, and even when his footing collapses while climbing a mountain, he's not injured and just smiles. Even after falling from a great height, he says, "That was tough," as if nothing had happened. He's so strong that even getting hit by a bus driven by a Lucky Beast is a laughing matter.
Clumsy? A troublemaker? Serval-chan

Serval is energetic, compassionate, and caring, but the other Friends treat her like a troublemaker. The hippopotamus says, "She's fast, has a good nose and ears, but she's clumsy and ruins everything," and the sand cat says, "She's just as clumsy as the rumors say." Apparently, she's famous enough to circulate such rumors. However, she also has common sense, such as being quick to point out quirks in other Friends.
Serval Grows Up

Serval also grows during her journey with Kaban. She learns from watching Kaban's creations and inspirations up close. In the final episode, during a battle with a large Cerulean, she makes her own paper airplane using the one Kaban had made earlier, attracting the Cerulean's attention. At the end of the story, she even tries her hand at crafting things, modifying a bus into a boat.
Another Serval? *Spoilers ahead

Throughout the story, footage recorded by the Lucky Beasts in the past is gradually revealed. At that time, the park was managed by humans, and one of them was a human named "Mirai" who was loved by the Friends. Serval was also good friends with Mirai, and it seems that she was working to solve an "incident" that occurred in the park. Serval now had no recollection of this. However, when she saw the video, she cried. From this, we can see that Serval lost her memory in a past incident, but was reborn as a Friend and has become what she is today. The reason why she lost her memory will become clear in the story.
Serval's Journey Continues

Kaban traveled to the sea to find humans, but he decided to continue his search across the ocean to the "Gokuchiho" (City of the Earth). Everyone, including Serval, saw Kaban off as he set off on a converted bus, bringing their journey to an end. However, the kind Serval couldn't bring himself to leave the bag alone and decided to follow it. The bag was surprised but happy, and the next journey began in search of new encounters. This journey will likely be depicted in the new series. I would like to continue watching the journey of these two.
